Uh- huh! That is why I am answering you at least a day later. We have already mentioned the post count being sky high!! So... download AIM and we can discuss this like regular people and not upset the "norms" with all our discussion about it!

thanks for the for my DS6..he feels fine, a little tummy ache once in a while. Dr. gave us some medicine while waiting for the lab work..(yuck-that was fun to collect...) could be salmonella, could be something else..(possibly from kissing the toads he keeps catching??! -yes, we put a stop to that.. ) At least it's only coming out of one end...

Savannah awaits the visit of your mom and DD!! I know they will have a great time..Tybee Island has very nice beaches...one of them has a lighthouse and a fort in the back..Sandra Bullock has a house on the island, and John Cougar Mellencamp reportedly just bought one. Tell her to keep a look out for a bunch of dolphins that usually swims by...My DH got on his boogie board (w/lifejacket-there is a STRONG undercurrent and riptide can be bad-be careful) and paddled out to them once, they were brushing up against his legs, swimming very close. They were amused, but cautious. Is this the Girl Scout trip???

Yes a Girl Scout trip. My dd1 is soooo excited about seeing dolphins. They are going on some dolphin sighting boat ride. That is the highlight for her. She wants to train dolphins & work with sharks when she gets older. Her greatest fear in life is never touching a dolphin. (sigh) If that was only the worst thing in life.

You should see my boy. 55 lbs and he is almost 10. Tall & skinny. I'm 5'3 and he is right below my shoulder. The finally figured out, after I have been fussing about it for 2 years that his height & weight have gone flatline. Well DUH! So a new med to make him eat. 3 weeks... yeah rite. he is in the 1 week off now then we start again. I personally think they need a higher dose. The ped said we see 5 lbs in 3 weeks. Nope~

Wow, Angel measured 80lbs and 56 1/2" in March at her 11 y/o checkup. She is thin, but solid. Brandon has always been like that. He didn't hit 100lbs until he was over 14. Now the muscle is making him weigh more, he's about 120. Hope they get your ds straightened out soon.

School starts back next week, and the school where I teach doesn't have internet access in the classrooms...I am in sooooooo much trouble!! At least while I'm home I can read a page, then do some work, then read a page, so on. Come next week...

As it is, it's almost 11pm and I'm still awake! I had every intention of getting to bed early to re-set my body clock to "school time". But what am I doing instead???? Yup...here...catching up on this thread.

Yeah me too. Wed. moring is one of a very few i am not up & out by 5am. So what do I do instead of sleeping like a good girl <no comments, Mary> I stay on here and still don't catch up. Hung in here until my eyes were crossing & got to bed by 10:30 ish. *sigh* I am so going to regret that by the weekend!

Wow, hello everyone, just for the record I was up at 7:30, but PD was on the computer then DSIS10 rolled out of bed and went right on before I had a chance to breathe. She was on till PD came home from work for lunch. Then I had to send pics of guys to my friend Morgan, who is at an all girls camp, then I had to read the 7 pages y'all posted.

It'll just be my wife and I (since we don't have kids ((unless you count the dog))) We'lll be staying at CBR August 20 -25. We've already made our ADR's:

Obviously we are ALL a bit chatty and share the same "can't keep up problem" I still like you ....don't need a teddy bear but I've got a dachshund (not pictured )who would wear a lime green tutu with no problem struttin her stuff

We have a rottweiler that would DEFINATELY were a lime green tutu.....we dress her up every year for halloween....last year she was a bumble bee and she was buzz lightyear the year before

Ok I am gonna get as comfy as possible in this heat and with the sore shoulders (arthritis for those who forget)

HUbby --John has been ill for a LONG time now. We have no idea what, why or where to turn now. He coughs and clears his throat constantly. We went to the local cough clinic (yes they do exsit) We went many times for over an hour each time. Took us an hour to drive there in wicked traffic to a downtown hosptial.
Doc finally agreed that he did not have breathing problem but maybe cough is from reflux. SO put him on 2 types of pills. One he takes twice daily and it costs $2.00 each outta our pocket. the other he takes two of 4 times daily. Luckily they are covered by our Provincial Drug plan (we make such little money and I take SOOO much meds that they cover most "usual" one) When these did make not much difference, lucky guy got to wear a tube up his nose down his gullet for 24 hours. It had a walkman sized pack that was strapped to his chest. Every time he coughed or burped or "TRIED" to eat there were buttons to press each for whatever he had done. POOR guy I couldn't drive him back to hosptial to have it removed due to the severe panic attacks I get even thinking about driving. Turned out he has gastric reflux -- but not normal kind. He keeps coughing up BILE oooh so gross eh? 2 options:these wickly expesive meds or surgury on his throat. Can't do that though cause he is teacher at local college and they can't say wheather or not he would be able to talk the same after.

Sounding good so far? Next comes the hard part to even think or talk about. Men might wanna cross your legs when you read this. 6 years ago he had to have surgery for Testicialur Tortion (i'm more than likely not spelling that right) Doc went in and STAPLED them to his ?? i don't even know what. Within 6 months we knew something wasn't right with all that dwells down south <wink> We went back and the stupid doc grabbed him and pushed and pulled till I saw tears in John's eyes. He then told him, nope everything is well .. you just have a low tolerance of pain. NOT this man burn the skin off the back of his hand and barely whined. Doc said take tylenol or ibruphen as often as needed and BUCK UP. Well lets just say that it is good thing we don't want anymore kids. Just not a chance of even TRYING. I let him go to bed before me so neither of us feel so bad.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. He went in for day surgery for scopes of BOTH ends to check out things since he has now begun to bleed from other place (get my drift?) That was non-conclusive. SO back to idiot doc who grabbed and suqeezed even HARDER this time -- John was black and blue within a few hours of returning home. On the 11th of August he is to have another round of day surgery to check his BLADDER -- just imagine how they are getting there OUCH.

Sigh, phew I think I am done for now. oh that and just waiting on results on a few tests performed on me last week too

Ah man! and they tell us how wonderful Canadian health is all the time. Not so Rite! I hope both you and John can get through this ok. If there is a problem the idiot doc caused, are you allowed to sue or anything?

And, personally, I think if anyone, doc or not, was pulling and twisting on a sensitve part of my body, and I didn't punch them out, only had tears in my eyes... buck up and tylonal would not be the answer I wanted or expected!!
