ps - I havent flown much - how did you get "credit" once you booked a flight? I thought once it was booked that was it, price-wise? Help me if Im missing something, cause I just saw our flight for about 20 less each was!

I've onl;y done this on SOuthwest. First make sure your flight is still available at the reduced price, then go to "travel center" on their webpage. you type in your reservation number to make the changes and you get a credit for whatever the difference is. I always call Southwest and have them walk me through it while I'm on the computer. I get nervous that I'll mess up and end up with no reservation.

It's perfect for my little OCD self!! (But my non-OCD friend has enjoyed hers, too! )

If you ordered the Spiral version, just be forewarned that they've been having trouble with a lot of the "rubber bands" breaking. If it does break, just call their office...they'll send you a replacement!

That's how we're going in Sept. Originally booked our July trip for the five of us at 99.00 each way than got the reduced rate of 59.00 each way so had credits of 80.00 for each of us. Then booked September @ 59.00 each way less the credits so ... are... you ....ready.... $19.00 each way!! We arrive on the 28th so got in for free dining! We have annual passes so I just got a one day pass for each of us which we won't use and will save to upgrade in the future!!! I figure that's 300 toward future tickets, in the bank!!! We're staying five days/four nights at POR for the $155 per night. So total (without the tickets which we are saving for the future) is $820 + tax for airfare, room and meals, tickets are already paid for in AP from July trip I think we'll use ME this time to save even more!!! And my kids have a long weekend off from school that weekend so they're only missing 1 1/2 days of school! Goofy forbis we don't maimize our spending a little tho ...We're going to go to MNSSHP.

I was gonna start quoting from that part, but figured it was too long since I'm at work-LOL. I love the part when he kept telling people he was their king & they kept telling him he wasn't. But who's counting? Lab report back from the CDC today and it's official. Drum roll please. Tularemia (rabbit fever). So the kitten has been aquitted here. Fortunately that is the disease that he started medicine for on Friday so hopefully we are cooking with gas (not charcoal) now. His energy level seems to be improving slightly although he still gets fatigued really easily.

So glad that you finally have a diagnosis and are on the road to recovery!!!!

Hey y'all again..you guys are very hard to keep up with for a lazy one like me..My DS6 has some kind of virus, so we have been "busy" with that lately.. I gotta tell ya, once you break away for a couple of days and come back to see what you have to catch up on, it's kinda daunting...but y'all are so worth it!!!

Anyway, I can't post for long, just wanted to know how Cody is doing...can anyone fill me in? The last I knew he had Catscratch fever and had surgery to remove a lymph node, was recouperating at home...What's new with him??


Edited to add....I just posted this and read the post above mine where macrosswife quotes HMo2's last update...rabbit fever???? never heard of it, but am glad that the treatment has already begun..this has gone on far too long.
