....ahhhh, yes the Viki Stubing conversation! That does seem like long time ago. Went along with the walk down 70's lane...and good 70's tv. Boy, makes me feel like an old lady that I've been on this thread long enough for something to have been "along time ago."

I eloped and wrote my family notes to let them know I was married. My mom kept putting off opening hers, so my sister had to bug her (since she'd opened hers and knew what it said.) My mom kept asking her "why do you care if I've opened my mail or not?" Soon she understood.

Hi Everyone. I've been reading the posts here for about 4 or 5 days, and decided that I had to join you. Y'all are insane This past Sunday, I went to our closest HD and swiped about 9 alien green heads. We've only got 19 days til our first trip to WDW. I know we're gonna love it.

I had booked 4 one-way tickees for 94 each The homeward ones gotta wait cause they are outside the dates available right now.

Today They released a special price of ..... $59. I just saved myself $140 that I can apply to return flight.

That's how we're going in Sept. Originally booked our July trip for the five of us at 99.00 each way than got the reduced rate of 59.00 each way so had credits of 80.00 for each of us. Then booked September @ 59.00 each way less the credits so ... are... you ....ready.... $19.00 each way!! We arrive on the 28th so got in for free dining! We have annual passes so I just got a one day pass for each of us which we won't use and will save to upgrade in the future!!! I figure that's 300 toward future tickets, in the bank!!! We're staying five days/four nights at POR for the $155 per night. So total (without the tickets which we are saving for the future) is $820 + tax for airfare, room and meals, tickets are already paid for in AP from July trip I think we'll use ME this time to save even more!!! And my kids have a long weekend off from school that weekend so they're only missing 1 1/2 days of school! Goofy forbis we don't maimize our spending a little tho ...We're going to go to MNSSHP.

Where did you elope to/at?

Good question from you , Mary. I was married in Bethesda, Yourland!! (I worked there at the time....) It was a lovely rainy day (Isnt that supposed to be good luck or something - hope so!) We went to dinnner that night with some firends on the warf in DC (Hogates?? I wonder if its still there - or if thats the right name! ) Then, stayed __1__ night in a nearby hotel (my friend fell asleep on the other bed....grrrrreat........ ) And next morning I went back to my apartment in Greenbelt, Yourland and he drove back to Police Academy in Georgia. (We did eventually live together - still do!)

ps - I havent flown much - how did you get "credit" once you booked a flight? I thought once it was booked that was it, price-wise? Help me if Im missing something, cause I just saw our flight for about 20 less each was!

I had thoughts of catching up until I saw that we're up around 7400 posts!!!!!!

Hmm.. you can cliff note what you know in small bunches as you catch up and we can have Cyn add them to her 3232 post! That may help a bunch of us!

Ummm. 266 I think! Sorry you hav eto work nights. I go in at 5 or 5:30 am a few mornings a week. Does that help? I also don't get off the 2nd job until 7:30pm this session.
