Speaking of online. Has anyone been to the Disney store online & noticed that the cool shirts that they were selling for $3.99 are now selling for $5.99 apparently because their popularity has gone back up! :rotfl:

I saw that too -pretty bummed cause I thought I might do the "lovely" matched family shirt thing....so, needless to say, Dh wasn't too upset that I decided not to get them. :lmao:

Oh my did I ever have a later night. Night before (Friday the 28th) I spent most of the night on couch since arthiris is shoulders totally prevented me from lying down in bed  Only after I took double dose of my meds PLUS tylenol was I able to even be comfortable on couch. Thought I would use some of the time reading the baords but couldn't sit here either. SO bed finally at 6 a.m. BUT then yucky had to be up and dressed by 10 for a family wedding (hubby's side and well let's just say the in-law jokes ALL apply here :rotfl2: Thre bride & groom didn't get the memo about leaving by midnight so guests can leave after them. We finally pulled out around 12:30 dragging the kids behind us. Poor John couldn't come to bed till after 3 since he needed mucho coffee to stay awake for drive home :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: I konked out by 2 and woke up today at 6:30 URGH!
:scared1: I gotta get off this and get dressed mega double time --- Mom & sisters will be here in about 15 minutes to go to stratford and I am still in shorts.
I will sign on again later to reply to several notes that I want to answer.
Have great day!

I bought one set & decided to buy another set because they were matching & in different colors, but I'm not  enough to pay $2 more for a shirt that I got cheaper the first time. Not only that I got the first set with an additional 15 or 20% off so I only paid $3.19 each! :woohoo:

... Wow ... How do you all keep up with this thread? I get so lost! I feel like if I'm away for more than 15 minutes I fall too far behind! :(

BIG PROBLEM for us all! :) I think the usual technique is the 'double window" - open one to reead the current goings on and then when there's time between posts read the old stuff - adding any appropriate comments as you go. Thats part of the fun - seeing the answers people wite to others - sometimes days later! :rotfl: So we all understand trying to stay caught up. Sometimes a kind person does Secret Club Cliff notes!! :sunny:

Good luck - you can do it!

MY hubby has joined the secret green club. He is wearing a fuzzy lime green hat and reading the DIS!

How scary? Who is terrorizing them & what are they doing? Best wishes to them. :grouphug:
It is suspected the person across the street is doing it (he is a computer wiz) using holograms and lazers. It all started over the daughters once being friends but having a falling out. Some parents (like this person) act younger than their kids. It has slowed down alot lately which we think is because my neighbors are ignoring it now (or letting it seem like they are) so the guy is probably getting bored with it. I sure hope so. It has put a real strain on my friends. They had even gone to WDW to get away from it for a week at one point.

It closes at 7 every night till the 6th .. then the 6pm closing starts for a week or so till the 5pm time starts.

Anyway.. you'll have plenty of time between park closing and your ADRs. AKL has a bus exclusive to them... it's only about 15 minutes from boarding till the resort.. if that much.

Not sure if you know it but MMHs for AK is the next morning (the 2nd). That was pretty crowded when we went. We got FPs for Everest because it didn't open for about 2 hours! Technical problems. We got our FPs about 8:15 or 20.. and they were for 2:05 !!..lol.
Night magic hours is awesome there! All the animals seemed to be out.. and the wait for Everest was only 15-20 minutes during the last 1.5 hours! Don't know if that's usual, but it was like that the night we were there. They have EMHs on the 7th. Take the Maharaja Jungle Trek while you wait (it's right before the Siamang apes structure).. the 'ruins' and murals are really nice. They have tigers and .. UGH.. HUGE fruit bats! lol.. my dd loved it! There was also an aviary.. they give you a chart of the birds you will see.. and you do see them! They're everywhere!

Oh.. try the pina colava at Victoria Falls while you wait for your ADRs for Boma... yummy!

Sigh.. I love AK... and AKL
I hope to get a lot done while we're at AK (and WDW in general) but not sure how commando I'm going to be able to go with the injured foot. Though I will still be able to continue on with the vacation, it's going to slow us up some since I can't walk as fast or as elegantly as I could a week ago. We're planning to do as much at AK as we can that first evening (Tuesday) in just a few hours (EE is at the top of the list!) and then we'll probably wait until Sunday to go back for morning hours. I have an itinerary, but how closely we follow it remains to be seen. :)

Definitely going to remember the pina colava (that's not a typo, right?) at Victoria Falls. We'll be doing out grocery shopping that night after dinner (we'll have a car) so I'm sure a nice foo-foo drink will make that chore easier to bear! :rotfl:

What is Kings Dominion. Details please.

Kd is fun!!! It's in Doswell Va - about 15 miles North of Richmond. It's "Paramounts" Kd - so it has charachters from the Co. - the biggie being Spongebob! Also Dora!My personal favorite ting about it is it has a water park and the regualr amusment park - both excellent! !! I's cool to be able to break up the HOT aprk by going to play in the water part - plus it's nice to be able to do an h2o park without having to pay another whole admission!

I LOVE Busch Gardens too (right outside of Williamsburg - so an hour south of Richmond...) It is REALLY beautiful - I think its won "the most beautiful amusement park" award many many times... It has a lot more shade than KD.
(I __VERY__ general thing is that kids and teens seem to prefer KD while old people like me lke Busch Gardens more! :) .) I really couldnt pcik a fav. - depends on my mood and my company!

Do I sound like Anc rambling on about something I love?!

ps Anc I LOVE hearing about AKL - its my dream to stay there!!!! (along wiht a few others ...) Staying at WL in 27 days.....first time on prop so I know it will be great, but kind of wish I'd paid the extra to do AKL.

I hate missing stuff on this thread, but sometimes I just have to suck it up and move on. :rotfl: Actually, I have a strategy. I try to skim almost everything, but make it a point not to respond to everything. If I let this thread overtake my entire life (which it could, easily!) then I wouldn't have as much fun with it, and then I'd quit participating completely. Don't wanna do that, so I try to take it in smaller, more digestible bites. :)
