I am off also. I finished up my ice cream while doing a little web surfing (found out the luggage set I had wanted was no longer in stock :sad2: ). See you all tomorrow. :wave2:

Speaking of online. Has anyone been to the Disney store online & noticed that the cool shirts that they were selling for $3.99 are now selling for $5.99 apparently because their popularity has gone back up! :rotfl:

Right, it closes at 7:00 that night, and our Boma ADR is for 8:30, so we should just barely make it to everything, don't you think?

It closes at 7 every night till the 6th .. then the 6pm closing starts for a week or so till the 5pm time starts.

Anyway.. you'll have plenty of time between park closing and your ADRs. AKL has a bus exclusive to them... it's only about 15 minutes from boarding till the resort.. if that much.

Not sure if you know it but MMHs for AK is the next morning (the 2nd). That was pretty crowded when we went. We got FPs for Everest because it didn't open for about 2 hours! Technical problems. We got our FPs about 8:15 or 20.. and they were for 2:05 !!..lol.
Night magic hours is awesome there! All the animals seemed to be out.. and the wait for Everest was only 15-20 minutes during the last 1.5 hours! Don't know if that's usual, but it was like that the night we were there. They have EMHs on the 7th. Take the Maharaja Jungle Trek while you wait (it's right before the Siamang apes structure).. the 'ruins' and murals are really nice. They have tigers and .. UGH.. HUGE fruit bats! lol.. my dd loved it! There was also an aviary.. they give you a chart of the birds you will see.. and you do see them! They're everywhere!

Oh.. try the pina colava at Victoria Falls while you wait for your ADRs for Boma... yummy!

Sigh.. I love AK... and AKL

What freezer? At home or at a resort? Wouldn't that be a hoot to open up your little hotel fridge and see a LGMHPC in there? :sunny:

At the resort! I figured it would be like a little surprise left by Tink! ;)

As a side note, I've only managed to collect (3) LGMHPC's ... every one of my local Home Depot's is completely devoid of them. I guess there are too many DISBoard Members in my area ...

Hey we went to my moms today and I even took our dog (Sulley). He's a golden retriever. He is gonna spend a week at Geema's house when daddy is in florida with us. He loves to go to Geema's house. I even made a sign for on her gate that says "my granddog visits me sometimes so watch out for him" Everyone laughs at it.

I love it! we have a sign on our door that says:

"beware of cat. he will lick" :teeth:

(it used to say "beware of attack cat, but he just licks everyone that comes in.)

Great. The hours change the weekend we get there. Lucky you. You should get some stuff in. From what I have read most people leave in the evening so hopefully it won't be too busy. Good Luck. We are leaving for florida the day after you get back. Guess we will have to shoot for a CA meet. My DH wants to visit his brother in Oregon this winter and I said If we do I am going to DL. Wonder how far of a drive it is from Bend to DL. I'll have to check it out.

Anc How was the concert (or have you gone yet?)

Cyn and Theresa you must both be getting so excited that you can't stand it. I'm excited for you both. I made my final payment tonight so I'm starting to get excited again. Still a secret. Told Cody that it was too bad that he sick so much we didn't get to go on vacation but maybe we could start planning for next year. He would like to go to South Dakota. Can't wait to see the look on his face when we go.

Donald I don't think that I welcomed you (sorry). Come and play with us. I think everyone here is very nice. :cheer2:

LizzY hope you had a good party.

Well went to a brand new home depot. Almost freaked out :confused3 when all I saw was 2 sections of paint chips and no disney paint. However dh found it. Definately a different home depot. I cleaned them out of lgmhpc. They all won't know what hit them.

Well I'm going to go engage in some competitive uno. Going to have some game time with the Codster tonight.

He got to go to hockey picnic today and got some ice time. He skated for about an hour. Definately didn't have the energy or balance as before but did better than I thought. Was a little whiney though after. I usually have to drag him out of the rink and tonight he was dragging us away.
Well Michele hockey is the cure for all illnesses. It always works for my kids. I am so glad to hear Cody is feeling better. We have hockey clinics all week this week. I am glad I can just drop him off because its with his coach. Should tire him out. Hopefully! Later than usual skates. 7 to 9 and if there is free ice they will stay out longer. His coach is the pres. of the association. Great perks. One day we had a 5 hour practice. Kids weren't even tired they wanted more!!!!!!!!!

Our dog Poppy is a Golden! :thumbsup2 He's wacko though. He likes to open the frig or the panty to eat so we have to keep a chair in front of them. Best part about him is he reminds me of Nana the dog from Peter Pan. Ever since we got him (almost 10 yrs old) when I put the kids out he goes too & he alerts us any time anyone comes near our yard. If you're out of the yard, he doesn't know ya, in the yard he's your pal though. Always felt good knowing he's helping watch the kids. :goodvibes
Mine does the same thing. Kind of a built in baby sitter. You are right about the kids being outside. My dog goes crazy if he isn't out there with them. Like I said he even goes places with us. Another member of the family.
