Hi. I have 8 days until WDW and I think I just broke the middle toe on my left foot. Arrrgghhh!!! I *KNEW* something like this was going to happen to one of us! This ought to be fun.

Oh CYN!!!!!! I'm so sorry - bleh, no fun..... I am a tried and true ibuprophin person (oops, bear....) It not only helps the pain - but helps inflamation - which is REALLY important. I would take if for several days even if the pain isnt bad. If you can keep the swelling down, that will not only help it heal faster, it will keep the production of scar tissue stay at a minimum, and that will help it not feel too bad down the road (even a Disney road....)

We all you!!!! (I will have to get that icepack in the mail to you ASAP!!! )

WELL folks.. looks like my disney dream has come to an end... only after a week of booking i have to cancel my trip... needless to say I can hardly talk about it...crying so hard.. but hubby decided we have more bills that are prioraty.. (which i guess he is right) but i lovvvvvvve disney and it was going to be my first trip for my lil girl..which makes it even harder... how do i tell my kids we just couldnt afford it after all....***sigh*** man so hard... i dont even want to see there face... oh my so anyways.... you all have a great time there over the holidays... maybe next year our dream will come true... thank you all for the warm welcome tho...

This is a hard one and I have also been there. Choose joy! and look on the bright side of things. You now have more time to save money and you can book an even better trip to WDW then you were planning for this year. It is so hard to think this way when your heart is set on something.

He is a third baseman and sometimes the outfield, if he is needed there. This summer was his best season yet! He had a great season at the plate too.

Okay, spill about you! Softball! What position do you play? How was your season? What do you play: summer, school, travel team?

DD began taking pitching lessons because she wants to be the next Jennie Finch!

A regimen of ibuprofen it is, then. I kind of hadn't gotten to that yet, so I'm glad you reminded me. I have the toe taped to the one next to it and am icing off and on every 20 minutes. Told the kids they're going to have to take care of themselves tonight. The bummer is when I need something upstairs. I have to HOP all that way.

I just wanna walk next week!

I play 1st mostly, but 3rd or catcher(groan) if they need me there. I don't play for my school team, but I play for my little league, and my dad is my coach(groan). My season wasn't that bad, but it was a weird year 'cause we combined with anothe league, and still only had 13 girls. But it was also the best season ever because I had a blast. the best game was when they bumped me up to the senior girls team because they needed players. WE still only had six, so I covered 1st and 2nd. The really cool part was that even with only 6 we still won! I can't pitch to save my life so more power to your DD!

Well, darn it, that's no fun. After some ice and elevation, try taping it to your "pointer" toe to help immobilize it. Maybe you could cover the medical tape with some of my LG tape from HD. Hope you feel better soon.

My mom broke her foot kicking a dumbbell that my brother had left out in the middle of his room, and her hand when she went to smack my other brother's foot off the coffee table.
