Oh its good to hear someone say they loved the Hoop most say they don't like it. Katlas&kids and my family are meeting up to see the show together. We both cancelled our origional resvs. and made one for both our families. We are both so excited.

Yes for me it will be great. She has a young baby girl for me to cuddle and her sons can entertain my other 2. And I will have an adult to talk to that does more than grunt and eat (my hubby will be there!) Also, we can attempt to escort each other outside and watch the movie with our kids and recover from all you can drink Sangria! Then back to the resort later, and Laundry!! Oh, and I heard the show wasn't to bad either! ;)

I was at the Califoria Grill last Friday night....we sat by a table of about eight people that the manager, waiter's, diner's were all falling over to impress.
Unfortunately, my DH, 2 DD's and myself had no idea who it could be (looked like maybe a pro-football player)......so I had a brush with a celeb, but did not know who it was. :confused3

Did however, sit next to Michael Keaton at a local bar one night about 15 years ago. My roommate at the time got me out of bed in the apartment that we shared across the street from this bar so I could see Michael. It was about 1:00 A.M. in the moring(only about five of us there)...I am sure I was
lookin' good just rolling out of bed  ....he was very nice by the way.

My Mom was Abraham Lincolns Prom Date!!! And He had about as much FUN with her as he did when he went to the Theatre! :teeth:

Umm... so if you are 19, then how old did that make your mom when she had you?! :confused3 Or are you counting only leap years for age?! :teeth:

We went to the Hoop last week for the first time. We loved it. Food was delicious, but you really go for the show. I was thinking this will be corny, but the kids will love it. Well, my husband and I probably laughed more than the kids. Have a wonderful time!!! We gave it an A+++

Well, I'd have needed a boxcutter, as they were sealed tight with that clear tape. Don't think for one minute I didn't try to devise a plan for action! I had no sharp cutting implement, though. Guess I could have bought one, but didn't want to risk blowing my cover!
secret.gif

Car keys work good in a pinch or even nail clippers to open that tape! I won't suggest your teeth though they can work, it is a bit of a give away when your back end is sticking out of the cabinet & your gnawing on the box! :rotfl: CanT to see the smilie you'd have for that!

Hi everyone. Nightly update

Sick log Day 13.

Fever this morning but managed through most of the day until about 8:30pm before he spike back up to 102.8. This was without any ibuprofen taken recently. Before he had been getting that warm with ibuprofen on board. So I think that is progress.

He had a little more energy today and went on a little mini trip to the zoo with his grandmother to sit and look at the animals. Not too much walking but he was upright for about 3 hours. Another step in the right direction.

Little bit more appetite today and a little more like his spunky self today. He is spending the night at his grandparents so that we can get some sleep. Tonight hopefully the fever will stay away and in the morning then I will feel much better about the direction we are headed.

Thanks for all the pixie dust and well wishes keep it coming I think it's starting to work. Fingers crossed here.

While cody was at grandparents tonight took little guy to hockey. It was a nice diversion for us both and our source of lots of support so it was nice to get out of the house for a change. Wasn't too bad to be sitting in an ice rink either. Well good night everyone.

:grouphug: Michelle. I was thinking about you all last night. Is it possible that he was bitten by a bug or a spider or something. Have you checked him over for ticks? I was thinking for something to be lasting this long maybe its still on him or something. My oldest brother had lyme disease years ago & they couldn't diagnose it for the longest time-- they even thought he had luekemia. Glad to hear he's feeling a little better. Glad you all are getting a break! :grouphug: to Brody for being such a great kid too! I bet he's really worried by all of this.

Funny thing about the lgmhpcs and the dates on the back. I would be curious to see who has the oldest samples. Mine is 4/05

hmmm, mine all say 4/05 or 1/06.

Ok YOURE ON!

How many Walton children were there?

What city did the Bob Newhart show take place?

What was Laverne & Shirley's Landlords name.....and who did she marry on the show?

"Come and Knock on my door"...are the first words in the theme song to what sitcom?

Ted & Georgette had a baby girl on the MTM show....what was the babies name?

What NYC Borough did the Bunkers reside in?

Name the characters that Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman & Vicki Lawrence played during "The Family" sketches on the Carol Burnett Show.

BONUS QUESTION!!!!!

What was Rhodas Morgensterns Middle name.....(hint: It was the same middle name as Brenda Morgensterns)????

Glad this isn't my test. I only watched 1/2 of these shows. Loved Carol Burnett.

Here's a quiz for you DisUnc. Can you identify these songs from the 1st coupls of lyrics?:

1)Steve walks wearily down the street
With his brim pulled way down low
Ain’t no sound, but the sound of his feet
Machine guns ready to go.

2)Everytime that I look in the mirror
All of these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone
It went by like dust to dawn.

3)In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines.

4)Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for the place to go
Where they play the right music, getting in the swing
You come in to look for a kind face
Anybody could be that guy.

5)I met her in a club down I old soho
Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry-cola
Coca-cola
C-o-l-a cola
She walked up to me and she asked me to dance.

6)You show us everything you’ve got
You keep on dancing and the room gets hot
You drive us wild, we’ll drive you crazy

Great minds think a like. Have you seen a recent picture of Leif Garrett? (He's pretty disgusting now) They should make him part of the anti drug campaign. Before and after photo would scare you straight.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

One of my best friends growing up was totally in love with him. Gosh remember all the hair he had?!?!?! I was watching one of those E True Hollywood Stories about him. They said he was driving under the influence & crippled a guy & has felt super guilty ever since. :guilty: They even reunited him & the guy. I guess he needs any excuse to party. I remember when I was a kid I'd see pictures of a 10 y/o stoned Drew Barrymore & I'd think where the heck is her mother-- Cuz I know my mother would never let that happen to me. :confused3
