I have so many things to wrap up before we go, I'm starting to mildly panic. Sure, I'm practically already packed and have bought everything that needs buying (:cheer2: ), but I also have a syllabus and schedule to finish and send to the printer's, a course web site to set up, and a department letter to write, aside from having to finish grading papers and portfolios for my summer class. UGH!
Quoting myself here to say that I have already finished the syllabus and schedule (taking to printer on Monday), have as much of the course web site set up as is possible before the tech guys straighten out some issues for me, have finished writing the department letter, and now really only have to do the aforementioned grading and pay the bills before we go! I am on the ball, people!! So, naturally, I'm now terrified that some unfortunate event(s) will arise to make my perfectly executed preparations all for naught.

It wouda bin Da Mudderload!
:faint:
Well, I'd have needed a boxcutter, as they were sealed tight with that clear tape. Don't think for one minute I didn't try to devise a plan for action! I had no sharp cutting implement, though. Guess I could have bought one, but didn't want to risk blowing my cover!

Be afraid very afraid...see my post!
Now I know where you got your fashion sense-Sid and Marty Krofft!

Your witchie-poo lyrics made me laugh out loud. Who said nothing rhymes with orange?

As for the bug repellant, we're staying offsite a couple of nights (that's why my ticker says 8 days when it's really only 6). When we got home from NY last year, I wasn't allowed to give blood because I had some weird bug bite and a fever for a few days, and they thought it might be West Nile virus (it wasn't). Now, I'm a little more cautious.

And who wants to do :laundy: ? I'll just pack it up dirty, then throw it in the washer at the Dolphin while I hang out at the pool. I think I'll continue my procrastination by putting on my trip planning DVD again. Goodnight, all.

Oh its good to hear someone say they loved the Hoop most say they don't like it.

Yeah, I'm a little worried about this......I hope we like it. BUt, for free it was the only time we were going to try it. (I hope I dont keep thinking aobut the __2__ meals we could have had instead??!!) :)

Oh its good to hear someone say they loved the Hoop most say they don't like it. Katlas&kids and my family are meeting up to see the show together. We both cancelled our origional resvs. and made one for both our families. We are both so excited.

Really, I heard just the opposite. Everyone kept saying we needed to go see it. The only show that I heard was better was Mickey's Backyard BBQ. That was sold out, but I'm glad we couldn't go anyway because it was so rainy then because of TS Alberto. Cool that you're all going together.

Don't they sell that there? I can't pack one more thing. I have to pack for a month as it is!!!!!!!!!!

Yes they sell them, but as always everything is cheaper in the real world. :)

I already paid for ours in advance before I had them change my resv. to the free dinner plan. Oh well. You will have to let us know how it is before we go. Warn us of any problems.

:welcome:

You have to make them sticky "the old fashion" way! I prefer rub on glue sticks! Or if you wait until the Holidays Wal-Mart sells a Sticker Maker Machine for 9.99! You can make any paper item a sticker. Way cool! :cool1:

But they only sell them starting in November. We had one, buy it is broke...I tried to buy a new one :sad2: But none to be had....Possibly check out a Michaels! I heard they have lots of this kind of stuff! :thumbsup2

Thank you hmmm, is it Martha "DisUnc" Stewart or Hints from "DisUnc" Heloise? :confused3

:)

Funny the examples you mentioned. I went to UCLA and met Herve Villachaise(sp?) from Fantasy Island at a party, my DH almost hit Tom Selleck coming out of a parking place, Leif Garrett came in to pay a parking ticket when I was working at the Santa Monica courthouse (I don't remember ever quitting that job, I think I just forgot to show up after a while :confused3 ), and one of my best friends and her sister ran into Scott Baio at breakfast when she had told her mom she was going to Mass, so she couldn't brag for fear of getting caught. Oh, it was a great time and place for a starstruck girl like me. :earseek:

Cool. :thumbsup2 I remember my first brush with celebrity. They were filming the movie The Diner at my local movie theater. I remember it had Kevin Bacon & Steve Guttenberg in it. Funny thing I never saw the movie, but we were soooo excited they were filming something there!

In '93 dh and I were in San Diego visiting my brother in the Navy. We were at an outside shopping area & we came across Lorenzo Lamas & his then wife Katherine/Kathleen Kinmont --shoot can't remember her name, but her mom played Abby Dalton (an 80's reference this time-lol). They were filming the show The Renegade. That was pretty cool.

Hi everyone. Nightly update

Sick log Day 13.

Fever this morning but managed through most of the day until about 8:30pm before he spike back up to 102.8. This was without any ibuprofen taken recently. Before he had been getting that warm with ibuprofen on board. So I think that is progress.

That is great :cheer2: I hope this is the end of the sicknes :thumbsup2
