Our Second Annual Scavenger Hunt

I love this! It would work for both my girls-and I'm thinking it'd be fun to adapt for our long drive down this summer. It'd be easy to make a list of things they could see from the car, and prizes could be something like a milkshake with lunch or their choice of the next Red Box movie en route.

Nice this thread was ressurected for a new summer season of DLR travelers. Glad I could help. :goodvibes I've done a scavenger hunt the past two years but won't be doing it this year since DH and I are going alone this summer. I'd know where everthing was and that would be no fun. Hmm... maybe I could pick out something at random and see how many I could find. Like birds or mice or something.

One year I went around taking pictures of restroom signs and another year I made DH stand in front of the trash cans from different lands. :rotfl: Oh, I know, on the DLR podcast Wayne mentioned the popcorn machines all have a different character inside. I could look for those.

I recommended it to kayleigh83 in her thread asking for teenage boy photo ideas for scrapbookng. I remembered it because it is such a great idea for repeat travelers when your not really wanting the same shots year after year! Thanks again for creating it!

I like this idea, but for me and my family, and absolutely no offense to the OP, I disagree with the premise of the thread ... that Disneyland is so boring it needs Scavenger Hunt enhancements to make it fun.

For us, these type of games are better suited for long car rides or things that are less awesome than Disney, in my opinion. But that's just us. I completely understand if your kids are older and less alacritous about the whole Disneyland thing.
