Okay, we've reserved a preferred pet site for October and there's only one loop for this. We'll probably arrive late and I'm thinking we may get "upgraded" to a premium spot. From what I've read the premium sites are mainly for the big rigs.
Here's the thing-our camper is really, really old-a 1966 model. You can see her twin at Restaurantosaurus in Dinoland. Whenever we've stayed at other "Class A" type RV resorts some of the other campers looked at us like the Clampetts had just moved in next door, complete with Granny's old cabin.
The last time we were there Ft. Wilderness had tons of foliage (kudzu?) to screen our little eyesore from everyone. I see that most of that is gone so I'm guessing that our camper will be on display for all to see.
Are the premium sites filled with $250,000 motor homes or will there be other more, uhm, modest set-ups too?
Just curious,
Jennifer
