Our Pictures from Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween DIS Party on October 5!

I think that would actually be an excellant idea. Because I am sure the price will change the more t-shirts we want, it will probably be less, so if we had a more accurate count, that might help with the pricing. So hopefully people can check in and let us know what kind of tee they want and what type of tee. That would be great.:)

Thats what I figured. we could get more of an idea for the price. I would want just a regular white tee shirt. :)

Hi Everyone!
I LOVE the green princesses on the front. The pumpkin for the back. Instead of "Peek A Boo!" would the "MNNSSDisMeet 2007" go there? With our DIS names all around the pumpkin?
I agree on white shirts. May I ask what a baby doll T is? I prefer a woman's V neck T, size small. I do not like how the crew necks come up on my neck. I will check with my friend what size T she wears.
Oh, YAY:yay: :yay: I am so excited!!
If we use the online store could we all order our own Ts but have a group ID # or something so they know which "group" we are with and all get the same shirts? Our school has its own logo # so we can order a shirt at any time and get the school logo. Just a thought.

Lesley

Hi Lesley! Yes the Pumpkin logo wouldnt say "peek a boo" but rather MNSSDisMeet 2007. And our disnames around it with the waltography type.

A babydoll tee is a tighter fiting tee shirt. Its the same style short sleeve, round neck, it just fits snugger and cut for a woman's shape rather than a straight cut.

The website is also a thought. Jen is just going to get some more info on Wed from the place she goes for her tee printing. Then we can figure out which one is the best deal and which one can accommodate us the best. Which website is the one your school uses?

I hope that answered your questions lol :goodvibes

Hi Cheryl! princess:

Well, the school uses LLBean for our polos. I don't think that is what we want, too much moolah.

Can't wait to meetcha!:goodvibes

Hi everyone.

Just wanted to give our thread a lil bump
:goodvibes

Hope you all are having a fantastic weekend! Its been really cold here in new hampshire with crazy wind. Hope you all are keeping warm! Is it October yet? lol

I know I'm not a part of the trip anymore ( :sad2: ) but I just wanted to point out, in case it has gone unnoticed, the green princess logo that's going to be used for the front of the shirt says:

"What DISprincess do in Disney, Stays in Disney" :confused3

Sorry if this has been pointed out before.

Also, I wanted to say how much I miss planning with you guys! I actually just found out this morning that I'd be able to go to WDW in October, but I would be missing the meet by several days. :headache: I guess if this DIS meet is a hit (which it is bound to be!), there could be another one in the works for next year that I could jump in on. ;)

Good morning everyone!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! Truebelievers, you are right! DISPrincess is singular, not plural - how could we have missed that? :rotfl2: Thank you for catching the mistake! We'll have to get someone on the Creative DISigns board to fix it for us!

We're getting close to the 7-month mark! Woo-hoo!
:dance3:

Hello!

I'm new to the boards and just found this thread! I would love to meet fellow DISers October 5th at the MNSSHP and dinner at LTT if you still have room. We've been to WDW several times, but we've never gone to MNSSHP and I think it sounds like a blast!

My DD and I are participating in the Race for the Taste 10K on Sunday, October 7 and we already have plans to be there for several days before the event. It would be fun to wear the MNSSDISmeet 2007 t-shirts for the race.

Thanks!

Welcome to the disboards first of all!!

Of course you can join us, the more the merrier!! Lindsey will add you to the list on the first page when she updates it! If you want you can post your name and your daughters name and she can add that as well!

Just keep checking this thread because there is always something going on such as right now were working on getting information for making our shirts. And im sure when it gets closer there will be alot more planning and exciting news to pass along.

Some of us are also planning on meeting up at the BBB for a little princess treatment before the dinner and the party. So if you and your daughter want to join us for that you are more than welcome.

If you have any questions dont be afraid to ask!

Welcome DreamBeliever!

We'd love to have you join us! Cheryl said it right - be sure to read through the thread so you can get caught up with what we are doing - this meet is going to be such a blast and the more the merrier!

Looking forward to October 5! :teeth:

Hi Lindsey and others,

Thank you for the warm welcome :grouphug: I'm thrilled to have stumbled onto a group of people who love Disney as much as we do. By the way, my name is Ruth and I'm from Illinois. My DD is 15 and her name is Lauren. We're excited to share our first experience at MNSSHP with all of you.

As you suggested, I'll read through the board and get caught up with all the plans. I'm sure it's been discussed, but I do have a question; We're planning on adding the dining plan to our package. Will that cause any problems at LTT? If so, we can just pay for that meal separately.

Instead of making a nucance of myself by asking more questions, I better start reading :surfweb:

Welcome again Ruth and Lauren!

Dont worry your not being a nucance. I dont think the topic of the dining plan has been brought up. I was planning on changing my room only reservation to a package with the dining plan. I dont know if it will be a problem for our LTT dinner but if it turns out i cant use the dining plan credit I would just pay out of pocket. But im sure when Lindsey calls to make the reservation for the dinner she can ask so we know ahead of time.

This will be my first time going to MNSSHP and I know it will be for some others here too. Were all so excited...cant wait till October 5th!!

-Cheryl

Hi DreamBeliever!:wave2:

Welcome to our DIS group of princesses, and a few princes too. I am so jealous that your DD still loves Disney. My DD, also 15, is d-o-n-e. Wants nothing to do with it. I keep joking that I'm going to bring her friend one day. YAY!! :yay: :yay: The more the merrier.

And our T-shirts will be off and running to be broadcast throughout the land on Sunday. That's so cool!

BTW - Is the free dining plan available for the weekend we are down there?

Welcome!!
Lesley

Welcome!!! We are so happy to have you and your daughter joining us. This will also be my first MNSSHP, I am mainly going for the characters and to meet all my DIS friends!!! Glad you are going to be able to join us. I think pretty soon we will be able to make our reservations, YIPPEE, now that gets the blood flowing. :goodvibes

Hi Everyone! :yay:

And a big shout-out to our new DIS'er and new DISney Princess, DreamBeliever ! :cheer2:

I'm trying to catch-up on everything here! I'll make sure to add you to the list DreamBeliever!

Oh, and I highly doubt the dining plan will matter because we are going to all have to have seperate checks any way, so I don't see their being any issue at all. Unless, they force us to all be on one check and we'll just have to play pass the cash around the table! :rotfl2:

I'm not sure how WDW handles that. I'll ask when I call to see if I can get an answer. :wizard:

Good morning!

Yesterday, as I was getting in my walking miles, I was so distracted by the thought of going to MNSSHP, that I completed my walk in no time at all! :cool1:

Yes, I am very lucky that my 15 year still appreciates WDW. In fact, she still keeps a stuffed Mickey Mouse on her bed ;) . My DH and 14 year old DS are also Disney fans. Our family became hooked on our first trip when the kids were 5 and 6 years old and we've managed to visit nearly every year since. The only reason we're not going as a family in October is because the boys are going on a little vacation of their own ~ I think either a golf or fishing excursion :scared: I think the girls got the better deal on this vacation!

We always try to do something new each time we visit WDW and in October, we're trying 2 new events; MNSSHP and the Race for the Taste!

I better get back to reading through the thread so I can familiarize myself with everyone.

Me again :rolleyes1

I finally finished reading all 44 pages pages of this thread! :goodvibes Wow ~ this gathering going to be a fantastic!

I understand that several of you are staying at POP ~ I wish we could stay there with you. We're staying at CBR because that's the host resort for the Race for the Taste 10K event. We've never stayed there before, so it will fun to explore a new Disney resort. Also, we're going to enjoy the Food and Wine Festival after the race.

I don't think we'll be purchasing the t-shirts after all. My DD is more of a pirate: than a princess: . I'm sure we'll find something fun to wear that will coordinate with the other DISers. Maybe I'll start looking for the lime green Crocs.

After looking into previous Disney package offerings, the 'free dining' package expired the weekend before Columbus Day weekend. However, it appears there was a discounted package offered during the Columbus Day weekend ~ I just don't know how much the discount was. Also, there was an offer given to WDW guests who were there 11/8 - 12/31/06 if they booked a package to travel again 8/5 - 9/29/07 which included free dining. I'm thinking a 'free dining' package may be offered to the public for travel 8/5-9/29/07 :confused3 .

Have a great week everyone!

Hey All,
Just wanted to let you know I went and picked up my shirt today and I did ask about pricing for the shirts, she said she would get back to me, I told her what we wanted, etc. Now I know that there are three different types of shirts being mentioned, regular tee, v-neck tee and the baby doll tee, each tee will be a different price, I just wanted you all to know that, the regular tee is obviously the cheapest. So I will see what she gets work up for me, in the meantime if anyone else has any ideas maybe we should look into that too. Hope you all have a great night.:)

I have some sad news. My school district just released our calendar for next year, and unfortunately I can't make that weekend! I was hoping for them to give us that Friday (I really don't know why they would have....) But there are some other Jewish Holidays in September that we're getting an extra day for instead...so I'll have to make my pilgrimage then...
Sorry girls! But have fun!!!
