Great video! We were the same sailing as you and you even got me and my son walking off the ship in front of you on Castaway Cay. lol. The weather was beautiful that day! Does being in a concierge provide extra perks? We are thinking of trying that for our Fantasy 2017 sailing.

Does being in a concierge provide extra perks? We are thinking of trying that for our Fantasy 2017 sailing.

Here's a quick list :

- Shoreside and onboard concierge services for questions and bookings.
- Guaranteed choice for MDR (private table and seating of choice)
- Priority check-in and embarkation
- Priority booking of port adventures, cabanas, etc.
- Tickets to all meet&greet events
- Access to the concierge lounge and concierge deck
- Private reception and meet&greet with characters on the day of the captain's dinner
- Complimentary sodas and specialty coffees in the concierge lounge, plus beers, cocktails and wine before dinner
- Complimentary bottled water and canned sodas in the cabin
- Room service available on disembarkation day

For us, the only reason we sometimes sail concierge is because it's the only way to get a 1-bedroom suite. When a balcony stateroom will be enough (like on European sailings, when we are off the ship most of the time), we will not pay extra to get basically the same stateroom with the perks.

As far as concierge, you have all of the perks listed above but to us its more than that. The number one reason is being able to get a 1 bedroom suite. The room makes it all worth it for us, we love having the extra space and its beautiful. The second is being able to get a cabana. Its hard to go back to Castaway Cay wthout one and basically having your own spot and an empty beach is fantastic. The third are the hosts, they make our cruise so special. They are fantastic and really make sure that you have a perfect time and coming "home" to familiar faces is always great. The other great benefit for us is the private deck, its such a nice quiet place to be and you dont have to fight for space like out on the main deck. You have food and beverages available all day right there.

Just as a note... The "empty beach" for the cabanas is ONLY in the Family Beach ones. The Serenity Bay ones are simply behind the chairs and umbrellas on Serenity Bay.

What room did you have - that looked amazing!! Great video

We were in 11014. That's the only thing we would change, it was much nicer being on 12 right next to the lounge. This was also not a starboard room so we missed the fireworks and the castaway cay view, we missed that. We will be back on 12
