Ok, so last I left off, we had just gotten off of Buzz. We then headed towards the speedway to meet up with the fam and went over towards big thunder mt. Love that ride. Hubby went on it, suprise as he hates rollercoasters. The rest of the fam went to take DN on the Alladins. After that, we all met up for lunch. We did Peco's Bill, I had the BBQ pork sandwich DH, DD, DB and DS had the burgers. We each gave some of our burgers and fries to the boy so he wouldn't starve.
. It was getting hotter and more crowded by this time, so we decided to call it a morning and head to the pool.
It was around 12:30-1:00 by the time we got back to the hotel. We changed into our suits and then went to the pool. I had a pina colada and DH had a beer as did my dad and bro. Sis was busy swimming with DN. It was then that he found the pool slide. After many attempts of walking him up to the top, only for him to chicken out
and walk back down, I finally coaxed him into going down. Well, not coax as opposed to push, which is exactly what I did. On our last trip up I told him I was going down with him, which was a big NO NO according to the life guards. So I started to sit down behind him, and OOOPPPSSSS, I pushed him on ahead of me
. I saw him go around the bend so I smile
and wave
to him. Now before you think I am a horrible person, my brother was of course waiting to catch him as he came down, plus he had swimmies on, so I new he was going to be fine. When he got to the bottom, this was his face
. I came down next and then I got this face from DN
. Yep, he was scared at first, shed a tear or two, then got mad because I had tricked him, and then wanted to do it AGAIN. Yep folks, he loved it! We couldn't get him off it for the rest of the trip. He is such a cutie. Sometimes us Aunties know whats best for your kid. If my bro and sis had thier way, he would be a whiney momma's boy, EXCUSE me, not MY nephew!!Anyway, all was well with the world, nephew was fine, my bro and sis didn't know that I practically forced him,
and so we ended our afternoon with one last trip down the slide for DN, then we got dried off, headed back to the room to get changed for our evening at Epcot and dinner at Germany.
Two other points to add. I cut my hair to just past my shoulders. I want to grow my bangs out, then it's getting cut to just above my shoulders. If hubby doesn't like it, he can go to beauty school and learn how to cut, blow dry and style long hair. I am sick of it, it takes to long in the morning to do, and I look like poo with my hair undone. Or DH can take a flying leap, can you tell that he is the one who likes long hair?
DN and Bro came up this weekend. DS was in Italy on business. DN is getting so big and talking, talking, talking and more talking. He didn't want to leave us and cried, melted my heart that he had so much fun he didn't want to leave. Of course it could be because we supplied him all you can eat cotton candy, ice cream, cupcakes, mcdonalds, etc... It's amazing how different my bro is when his wife is not around. I guess I know who wears the pants in that family.
More later!
