that's like my worst fear - getting somewhere and not having an ADR and not getting in. when we were at mama melrose we kept seeing person after person get turned away because they were booked. scary! your parents live dangerously!

those sound good as well, corn dogs for Candi, hot dog for me.

they just figure if they get turned away no big deal, they will just go to a CS location.

I'll be thinking of Brooke and Jon on Saturday. We are getting up at 4:30 to be on the road by 6 to head for DL . Your sis should be well on her way by then, since we're 3 hours behind you.

she's saying they're gonna get up at 4:00 and leave, but we shall see. i'm thinking more like 5:00. they should be arriving at WDW around noon if they leave at 5:00. so that will be around 9:00 your time. HAVE FUN ON YOUR TRIP!!!

I didn't even know that LTT was a character meal...lol. I never ate there, but needed to fill one more meal slot for lunch on our last day and saw that the food is supposed to be good, so I booked it. I'm more excited now to find out that we will be doing a character breakfast and lunch and spending our entire las tday at magic kingdom....get all the magic we can before we have to leave.

oh, lunch is NOT a character meal, only dinner. so if you have a lunch ADR you won't see characters there. however, i've heard the lunch menu is fabulous, especially the toffee dessert!

Hey, sorry I'm a little late but just read the latest update. Loved the tap dancing thing, I noticed that window when we were walking down Mainstreet without kids this year but we didn't stand there long enough to hear the tapping, HOW COOL! I'll have to do that next time, don't ya just love the details of main Street.
Loved the LTT review, looks like you guys had such a good meal, the desert looks yummy- bummer that meal is going away I just don't understand that!
Can't wait for more! Hope your sister has an incredible Disney trip!

i don't think you can hear the tap dancing on a really busy day. it was VERY faint. ray and i were sitting on that bench for awhile before i even noticed it. i don't understand about the changes in LTT, either....we shall have to wait and see what disney's up to!

I hope Brooke and Jon have a great trip and that you guys have fun hanging out today! Joshua and Katee's dance was my FAVORITE I think ever to be on the show. They're definitely my favorite couple this season and that dance was AWESOME! It was so much fun and I wish they'd do more of that; I love seeing different styles besides the standard ballroom/contemporary/hip-hop.

Ok, I must admit, I don't really watch any dancing shows, which is funny cause I LOVE to dance, but that clip may have converted me! It was very epcot-esque and they were SO good! What channel does so you think you can dance come on? I may have to start secretly DVRing it so my DH doesn't make fun of me. He already makes fun of me about Lost and Jon and Kate plus 8...

i agree! my favorite couples are katee and joshua, twitch and kherington and mark and cheslie. but katee and joshua are starting to pull ahead for me! DH likes mark and chelsie, but i think it's just cause she's a cutie!

i get up and dance, too!!! do you remember the dude that did the AMAZING popping during auditions? well, he did this backwards walking thing on his knees and i HAD to know how to do that so i practiced it until i got it. now how i'm going to use that in my life, i have no clue!

you HAVE to watch "so you think you can dance" if you like dancing. i LOVE that show! i took dance from the time i was 4 until i was 15 and i miss it so much when i watch it. i'm not a big TV person but i have to see that show every week.

it comes on fox at 8:00 (EST) on wednesday for 2 hours for the performances. then the results show is on at 9:00 (EST) for an hour on thursday.

well, brooke's at DHS right now!!!! i'm so jealous, which is silly, i know. but it's cool to know she's there and i hope they're having a blast. they left at 4:30 this morning and got there around 1:00. usually it doesn't take quite that long, but they had rain and construction on the way. she called me when they got near orlando to see if there was a disney music station they could listen to the on the radio. they got their room at pop when they checked in and they're in the '80's section. she called me at 1:15 and they were on the bus on the way to DHS. then she called me a little while ago with a question about the DDP and they were having lunch at backlot express and had just watched the indiana jones show. i wish i was there!!!!!!!

had to share these from last night. brooke and jon rockin out on rock band (i think i caught eli scratching his back on the bottom of that chair!)......

i think that's brooke's attempt at being a sexy rock star. she's a goof.

ray got an iphone yesterday, so when i took his picture, he was proud to show me. apparently he was proud of his beer, too!

tell me about it! i'm so excited for them and jealous at the same time! and yes, i'm definitely the disney expert. it was so funny - when she called me in early april to tell me they were planning a trip, our brother was here visiting me. as soon as i got off the phone with her, i got out my books and the laptop and started formulating a plan for her. he was just staring at me with this huge spread i had in front of me and he goes, "what are doing????" i told him i was helping brooke with her trip and he was like, "okay.....that's just scary!"

camster - i accidentally erased your comment on ray's sox hat, but i'm replying to both you and declansdad about it.

no, ray does not off his hat. although it's not always the sox one - it's sometimes a university of tennessee hat. the only times he doesn't have a hat on is to sleep, to shower and if we go to a REALLY nice restaurant or something. he even wears one to work.

i know!!!!!!!! i told her last time she called that she could feel free to call me AT ANY TIME to tell me what they're doing, but that she didn't have to because i didn't want to bug them. i won't tell you how many times i called them and asked how far away they were!

Oh I understand the whole "guy in the baseball cap" look - kind of like it myself!

But, personally, I think the Red Sox hat should be retired. Again, Yankee fan talking here! Would much rather prefer to see that Tennessee hat!
