We got the news last night,Alex came out of it yesterday morning!!!! She's not speaking but reacting to commands and moving around on her own!!! She's actually awake now!! She still has a LONG road ahead but this is a WONDERFUL step in the right direction!!!

Her Mom though, was in a car accident this afternoon! OY! Janis is fine but her car is pretty messsed up.

I know I shouldn't be posting personal news on this board but this is my hang out and I had told about Alex's accident last month on the MNSSHP thread.So many had been praying for our family so I wanted to thank you for your prayers...please keep us in your prayers we still need them!!!

My Aunt Alex and I were like brother and sister (I 13 and her 28). WE were always close I'm so happy. Aunt baloo Savannah is tramutized from seeing Alex today. She was just staring at her and trying to speek. Savannah kept hearing voices in her head saying "She is going to die". When it first happened I had a nercouse breakdown in school and I stayed out int he hall crying threw half of math class. Thene there was a 25% chance she would wake up. 50% cahnce she won't wake up. And a 25% chance she would die. I kept thinking to myself, OMG she's gonna die. But now she's alright (in a slooooooooooooooooooow prcess). Though Savannah is thinking about counsuling.

She was shaken and in denile and today she got into a car accident on the way to the hospitale. but She's allright. The persone that hit her was a priest, and my grandma told him about her and an hour later he was at the hospitale.

It's been a while, but i'm oging to put a quick update on my Aunt Alex. She's now out of the coma FULLY. She's quadropolegic (I hope I spelled it right). She goes to phicical therapy. But she can only move a little. her trake was juxt taken out, but she can't talk. She has very little voice. She can't walk, but the process is becoming better/quicker. Sh's come home a couple of times since.

I just found this topic, and I thought I should show you guys an update.

I can't find a decent picture to put on right now, but she's been doing ALOT better. Alex is now at Seaview Hospital. She's somewhat paralized. She can move her head, and her head slowly. She comes home every Saturday and Sunday. On Monday my mom took herto the mall. She's pretty much the same as before the accident but can't walk, but is going to Physical Therapy every day. She was able to march (Slowly and with support). But overall, she's getting better.
