Our new neighbors are going to wonder about us...

WE are packing to move into our house (YAY!) and we pack stuff into any boxes that we had either laying around or just gotten .

Anyway, I 'm just looking at the display of boxes in the dining room, and was thinking boy, are the people going to wonder about us....


We have 1 Absolut Vodka box, 2 beer case boxes, 2 scotch whiskey, 2 Southern Comfort, and a various and sundry assortment of wine boxes.. take your pick, pino grigiot (sp?), chardonnay, merlot, zinfindel, red...


And well, about three houses away across the street is the convent! I wonder what the nuns are going to say!

Anyway, I think we need some normal boxes...

Boxes from liquor stores are the best. They're very sturdy & insulated.

LOL! Do the boxes have the original contents? Let the nuns help you bring the boxes in.

When we moved I picked up wonderful boxes at Walmart. You have to cruise through the store and pick them up as they unpack them and dismantle them. Some huge boxes and very sturdy. Some of their boxes are clearly marked not for taking so you have to check.

Uhhh, we had a convent of nuns live down the street when I was growing up. They were particularly close with my mother, and when she died, they all attended her funeral and wake. Lets just say the nuns were NOT non-drinkers. In fact, Sister Elizabeth appeared to be a bit tipsy at the wake.

Catholics tend to drink, I think you might be a bit more worried if if it were a Southern Baptist minister or a Morman priest (is that right, are they priests in the Morman religion?) eyeing your liquor boxes.
