Our neighbors house burnt down today

We just closed on our new house Friday. I pulled up to our subdivision to see a pile of fire trucks, ambulances, and troopers surrounding the entrance. The family right down the road from us has lost everything. Not a single item is salvagable, just charr. I feel so terrible for them and they have a 12-13 year old boy that is distraught. I just wish there was something we could do. I don't have an idea of what caused the fire and the officials are still there so I guess they are investigating it. I can't bear to see when things like this happen to families. The look on their faces is just heartbreaking. Prayers for them please.

My Brother and his family lost everything in a dryer fire this past Nov it was hard on the 3 kids they were in the house at the time .

They are slowly getting back on their feet but it is rough.

I am so sorry to hear about that. Its even worse that they were there at the time and they have 3 children. That must have been so frightening. I hope that they are on their way back to "normal" and to a brighter future.

What city are you in Sajetto? I know you said you're not far from me. Just wondering if this will be on our news.

That is terrible that they lost everything. I just cant imagine what that would be like.

We are in Greenville. Since you're in Durham I don't think you'll see anything about it. BTW my BIL graduated from Duke and loved that area. Its very nice out there.
