I love it! I made a countdown for our trip starting at 100 days and been crossing the days off since. Now I've only got 39 boxes to cross off... It's exiting!

I have to confess that I folded paper over and cut out a few at a time - mickey is a bit wonky but I didn't have the patience to cut them out separately.

They are just bluetacked on and DD has been very excited to go downstairs and take one off each morning.

She knows when there are no more Mickey heads left she is going on the plane to see Mickey!

Had to explain that she can only take one off each day - pulling them off faster does not make the trip come any sooner unfortunately!

It looks really good! Better than an advent calendar! I must admit, that is one thing about a surprise trip - I miss having a countdown on the wall this year.
