I'll be bringing some cereal with me to have in the room as well so that we don't get tired of just a muffin or danish for breaky. lol

How many nights are you staying? I count 8 table service meals, so you may have to pay out of pocket for a few.

Yes, my mom is paying for rainforest out of pocket as she is insisting we add it to the list, I forgot to add that in there :) LOL! We're staying 7 nights.

Are you asking whether the plans has good places to eat or are a good use of the DDP credits? These are sometimes two different questions...

Lunch - Akershus, Dinner - Garden Grill
How far apart are these two meals? Akershus can be very filling and Garden Grill is AYCTE.

Lunch - Rainforest Cafe (AK) (paying oop for this one), Dinner - Something at DTD we'll just grab while walking around
I really like Cooke's of Dublin and Earl of Sandwich at DTD. Raglan Road (a TS) is one of my favorite WDW restaurants and I would consider going there if you're at DTD (and pay OOP for a less expensive meal - like the one at the Plaza).

Day 6 - Breakfast - Chef Mickey's, Lunch - CS somewhere in MK, Dinner - The Plaza, Dessert Party @ Tomorrowland Terrace
I can see why you would want a light dinner before the Dessert Party, but, in general, the Plaza isn't a very expensive meal. I would consider pay OOP for this one and using the DDP credit at RFC or at a TS location at DTD on Day 4.

Opinions are great :) Last trip we only had the quick service dp and this time we upped it to the regular dining plan so it was fun trying to pick and choose. My dd is 9 and I am not sure on what characters she would love to see (this is a surprise trip, she's not finding out for another 2 months) so I tried to pick a good variety.

Akershus is at noon, and Garden Grill is at 5:40. I figured by the time we get our food, it will be close to 6:00 so that should be far enough apart?

Thanks for your info on the dinner costs at the plaza, I will definately pay oop for that one to save some $$ :) Sometimes these things don't cross my mind when I have 5 different windows open on the laptop and papers strewn across the couch. LOL!

Crystal Palace - Winnie the Pooh and Friends
Akershus - Princesses
Garden Grill - Chip, Dale, and Friends
1900 Park Fare - Cinderella and Family
Chef Mickey's - Mickey and Friends

Does your daughter like Disney Junior (Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, and Handy Manny)? If she does you might consider looking into the Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic! meal package. It's the same price (1 DDP credit) as Mama Melrose, but there are characters.

At Akershus, you have check-in, have your photo take with Belle, and then be taken to your table. I would figure that you'll start eating around 12:30 pm. Akershus lunch includes the "koldtbord" (basically, a cold board buffet) so you can get pretty stuffed eat there. Then there is the entree and dessert. For my family (disclaimer: no children), we like to leave about 6 hours between the end of one meal and the start of the next. So if we did a noon meal, we would probably plan for dinner around 7:30-8:00 pm. However, if you avoid snacking during the day, it might be okay to have dinner at 6:00 pm.
