~Our March 'Just Engaged',freezing,and full of surprises trip~Updated 6/23 p.76

Last days are so bittersweet. :sad2:

Yes they are!

Earl of Sandwich is AMAZING :worship: it's our favorite place to eat at in DTD, it's so worth it!

It is SO good!

GREAT choice with regards to eating at Earl of Sandwich. That CM was right, they do have the best sandwiches in the world. :thumbsup2

Sounds like a fun evening at DTD. The story about all of the kids from Alabama is too funny. And that's a bummer that you couldn't find anything you liked at TrenD. I know how you feel though. Last summer, I was dead set on buying something there because FINALLY there is a store with merchandise that I'd wear more often than just while at Disney, but when we got there I was so overwhelmed that I ended up not buying anything. I think all of the bright colors were distracting me.

Thanks! We loved it!

I wish I had the Alabama thing on videotape. It was hilarious!

I was the same way! I'm like "I have to find something in this store for me!" But I haven't yet.

okay - so I finally got caught up on your TR! We finally tried Yak & Yeti this time around and enjoyed it. I thought of you the whole time we were eating there!

I've never done the MJT but we did the Pangani one this trip. I never feel like I have enough time to do all the things I want to do, no matter how long we are at disney!

We were at DTD one night on our trip and it wasn't that packed. maybe it was because it was St. Patty's Day? WOD was packed, but we could easily walk around without it being too crowded.

Definitely try a Pina Colava next time you are there in July. It's so good! We always order them (sometimes with the alcohol and sometimes without) and now our little gal enjoys them as well (nonalcoholic of course).

Congrats on finally making a rope drop! We've only ever seen the rope drop show at DHS.

Aw, I'm so glad you tried Yak & Yeti and liked it! Thanks for thinking of me!

I know, it amazes me how much stuff you can get done and there's still more!

Yeah, maybe it was just because it was St. Patty's Day.

I will have to try it!

See? All these years we've been showing you our Earl sandwiches in pictures, and you could only imagine what they tasted like.

Now, you know! Yum + eeeee! :cool1:

I've been there on St. Patrick's Day, and there are some wacky outfits, indeed!

Very true about seeing different things. When I see something new in someone's report, I make a mental note, because I really want to see everything for myself. :goodvibes

Legoland and World of Disney can both be packed, and it makes the shopping part a lot less enjoyable, especially if you are also watching kids. Maybe they'll have some new stuff for him this summer. LG will enjoy building some Lego things, too, won't he?

Yes, now I know! :goodvibes

Haha, glad you understand the crazy outfits we saw!

I've learned so much thanks to you guys on the DIS!

I don't know if we're going to DTD with the little guy..he's not too into shopping. So we might what to do that until after they leave. But..you never know! He might really like Legoland.

Nice night at DTD. We usually hit it a night too and it's usually crowded. I'm going to have to give EOS another shot. I tried it once but thought it was just okay. I do like the sound of the sandwich you got. When I went the only choice I had for desert was a cookie?:confused3 It's real hard to get DH to eat anywhere else except for WPE, it's the family favorite.

Last full day is so sad, I hope it was a great one.

WPE is definitely good too! We ate at WP in June, so we wanted to try something new. I hope you give Earl another shot. The Italian sandwich I got was SO good!

I can't wait to tell you about our last day- it was definitely memorable!

We tried Earl for the first time on our last trip and agree those sandwiches are yummy! Glad you liked it so much. I can't wait to go back and try something different.
DH is a LEGO fanatic so we gotta stop there every time. It stinks it's always so packed and crazy in there.
We have a Mickey & Minnie kissing photo frame magnet on our fridge that we got on our honeymoon. :lovestruc
Thanks for the update - helps me avoid working haha!

I can't wait to go back to Earl either! haha

Okay, glad I'm not the only one that has to go in there with their significant other. haha

I bet it's the same frame!

And you're welcome! I am glad I distracted you for awhile! :lmao:

Another wonderful update! You make me want to go to EOS. Too funny about all of those kids being from Alabama! And my son would share Fiance's obsession with Lego's. We buy a new set nearly every week for him - makes me wonder if he'll outgrow it.

Earl of Sandwich is soooo good! :) They have one in Vegas and Greg (my DH) and I are definitely going there for lunch one day. Also, I have a Mickey and Minnie magnet frame, too. I still have yet to put a picture of us in there, haha. Also, that left handed stand sounds so cool, being left handed and all. You have me sold on the margarita stand, btw. Your last day already. :(

Thanks!

You have to eat there!!

It was so funny that they were all from Alabama except one!

They used to have some really neat stuff in LegoLand, but now they've been slacking!

You can eat there and pretend you're at DTD! haha

You'll have to check out that left handed stand then!

Oooh the margarita stand is so good! We get drinks from there every trip. :)

Can't wait to try EoS this year, it has always been so packed when we have walked by and that was what put us off. But have learned that the line goes really quick so we are defo going to try it this year.

Lol to story about the hula hoop kiddies all being from Alabama but not knowing each other

:( to your last day

You ate my favorite sandwich at EoS! :teeth: DTD is usually more crowded in the evenings than during the day, I think because most of the parks close so early most nights.

I LOVE me some Earl. I don't remember the name of it, but I sure liked the one I got that had Blue Cheese on it!

I"m bummed you couldn't get into Ragland for a St. Patty's nightcap. That woulda been kinda fun. But nothing a margharita can't help, right?

UGH! Not the last day!:sad1:

The line really does go quick! I was nervous that we were going to be waiting forever, but we just kept slowly moving!

It was so funny!

I know! How can it be the last day already?!

It is so good! I will probably have it again in July!

I figured it was probably more busy at night.

I know, Ragland Road was PACKED. But hey- a margarita did just the trick. :thumbsup2

I know, the last day! :guilty: But...it was a good one!

YAY! Glad you ate at Earl of Sandwich. It is so good there. I wish they had a place around here.

Bummer you didn't really find anything at Tren-D. I got something very exciting from there...:woohoo::rolleyes1

2 months from today we will be leaving!

I don't know if we're going to DTD with the little guy..he's not too into shopping. So we might what to do that until after they leave. But..you never know! He might really like Legoland.

Legoland, T-Rex, water jets, dancing on the square, Goofy's Candy Company, Once Upon a Toy...lots of things for little folks in DTD.

I have to figure out how many days we have. I think we're at about 45. :)
The next two weeks will fly by as we close out school, so I won't be doing much waiting around until June, really. Since there is no summer school this year, June may go slowly, but I think we're going to try to go to the Memphis Zoo one Saturday, and of course, Toy Story 3 comes out on the 18th! :dance3:

Drew is a lefty, so I need to check out that shop for him.

Woo hoo! I bought your Disney secrets book on Ebay yesterday! I can't wait to get it and read it a million times before December!

Now if only I can convince the hubby to buy me that D&B bag...maybe that can be a pre trip Christmas gift! :rotfl:

You're right. We will have to consider it!

That would be a great gift! :thumbsup2

Yay! It will fly by and before you know it you will be soaking in the Magic again :goodvibes

I hope so!

I hope to have an update by the end of the week! Everything has been busy around here with graduation and all that!

a store for left handed people?! how awesome. i'll definitely have to go check that out in august. :thumbsup2

mmm, earl of sandwich! i love that place! i want to go there right now and get something to eat... come with me? haha.

Hi Tinkgurl! Just wanted to let you know that I started a TR of our April/May trip and my princess is just a little younger than your little guy. I know you had some concerns on how he is going to do, but I'm sure he will do great, especially since there are so many of you guys going too. Like I mentioned before, I totally thought of you when I was at Yak&Yeti!

Hey! OMG thanks for letting me know you started your TR! I was hoping you'd be doing one! :)

We ate at Earl's for the first time in March and I had the same sandwich as your fiance and it was awesome!

I am kind of disappointed you didn't get a chance to try out Raglan Rd. You need to try this sometime in the future. I figured it would be nuts over there considering it was St. Patty's Day. Sounds like another great ending to a fun filled day.

I can't wait to see what your last day :sad1: has in store! :goodvibes
