~Our March 'Just Engaged',freezing,and full of surprises trip~Updated 6/23 p.76

I'm not sure when it usually ends but when we went in 2007 and last year it was still going and that was at the end of May. This year it ends the weekend before we get there, it's ending on the 15th or the 16th. :sad1: This will only be my second trip not seeing the F&G, and the other one was because my DH and I went to see the Christmas decorations.

Oh man, that stinks it ends the weekend before you get there!

Again great pix! I still say your pictures really are relaxing....you can kind tell your pace was pretty relaxed.

Thanks! We tried to relax this trip that's for sure.

Another great update! THe flowers are so georgeous. Too bad it was so cold! I don't think I've ever seen Nemo with a line. It must have been crazy crowded!

Thanks! They were beautiful.

What stinks about Nemo is it doesn't have FP's!

Hey Tink!

I went back and looked at your pix again, and was amazed at how much of the F&G you took in! Wasn't the butterfly place spectacular?

I really liked your monorail shots too!

Maroo wants to try out the Sum Experience, so we'll hopefully hit that one morning maybe right after Soarin'.

CAn you tell me once more time, which place the Velcro Frogs were in. I know that was your last TR, but I want to put it on my list. ;) TIA!

Wow! The sunrise pictures are just gorgeous! :goodvibes I don't think I've ever been up early enough that it was still dark out at Disney World. But I might have to so that I can get some pics like that!

Kona breakfast sounds incredible! I just love the dinner... And the pic that your Fiance took of you writing the postcards is SO pretty! I think it probably just sums up how great your morning was--sitting in a gorgeous lobby, relaxing, thinking about friends/fam at home, yet with your best friend/future hubby! :goodvibes

OH. MY. GOODNESS. The flowers are absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I want to go during the F&G Festival sooooo badly someday! My cousin and her girls are there right now. I just love flowers (we planted ours the Sat before Easter) and I'd love to see Disney's incredible displays. That's so neat that you were able to be there during that time!

All caught up! Another great installment.

All your pictures from the Flower and Garden Festival make me really excited to be there in 15 days!!

Ooo and great choice picking the Poly for your Disneymoon! Have you set a wedding date yet?

I'm shocked there isn't signs pointing toward the gift shop!!!! :lmao:

Instead of speed-walking to the TTC like we usually do, we decided to take our time and enjoy the scenery. We saw some really beautiful things and it was so nice to take the time to “stop and smell the roses”:

HEY!!!!! Those aren't roses! ;):rotfl:

Going by Nemo!:

Love this pic! ... I wish we were back right now!!!

Well look who you found!!!!

One of Tink’s friends. Forgive me, I don’t know her name. I still haven’t seen the movie. I have a hard time accepting that Tink talks. HAHA. I guess I’m just old school and like her in Peter Pan better.

Rosetta. :thumbsup2

Yeah…definitely won’t be riding THAT! I’m crazy claustrophobic. The wait to ride was 60 minutes!
UMMMMMMM NO!

We made our way up to Nemo and saw that they were already weaving outside!! Plus, there’s more weaving inside! So we decided to skip that and make our way to The Land.
Good move!!! It could of taken you forever to get through that line. ::yes::

Then, we made our way up the annoying ramp and into The Land.
I never thought about it being annoying... but you are right, it is annoying!

Hi! :goodvibes We are back from our trip & I am trying to get caught up with all of your updates. Just finished your Poly breakfast update and I am so happy for you that you got the Tonga Toast. "Love" is a strong word, but I can almost say that I love Tonga Toast. YUM!

We have never stayed at the Poly but over the years it has become my favorite resort. It sort of snuck up on me. If we don't go there on a trip now, it would just feel weird. And you are right about the smell. The next time that I go, I want to get the Lapu Lapu.

You have great photos of the early morning. I really like the pics that your Fiance has taken of you while you are writing your TR or the postcards. It was nice that he thought to take those shots.

I will keep plugging away and get caught up eventually. I just wanted you to know that I am here & reading as fast as I can!!

whew all caught up. I'm doing a lot of catching up while kids are sleeping.....hmnmn;)

Oh my gosh, I couldn't believe how early we were up! It was worth it though.

We tried to take as many pics as we could to share it all with Mom, Dad, Sis, and of course ALL OF YOU READERS!

It was beautiful!

You're not a bad teacher... you wanna hear bad (me)... we had the chance to get the kit that goes through the life cycle of a butterfly... I am so scared of any living thing that flies I refused to do it because of the chance that the butterflies could get out lol (my friend got it last year and one of her butterflies escaped... so no chance of me ever doing it)

Our kits arrived Friday. The nets go up tomorrow....

Brooklynn did that in Innoventions, but I don't remember which side.

I'm trying to find a picture of this, by the way, but I have a few thousand to go through to figure out when we did it.

Painted Ladies?

Not sure. This is my first year in second grade, so I'm just a follower of a couple of the other teachers who have done this before. I'll learn as I go. I've seen them in the net/cage things before, but only at a glance. I haven't actually done this all from scratch.

My first time too, we'll compare notes when we finish up!
I hear they can be a bit messy...

Yeah, I've seen the icky bloody grossy stuff. Not looking forward to that part!

I think we should get to go to WDW for a field trip to study butterflies as a part of our preparation for teaching about them.

Okay, I found the Velcro frog pictures.
