Our "long time coming", first time ever, very magical trip to WDW!Pictures 1/27!

How is your daughter doing ?? I can so relate to her since I get frequent migraines and I have the low blood sugar thingy, too. I used to get about 2-3 migraines a week, but as I get older they have thankfully been tapering off. I take Topomax every day as a preventative and Relpax when I get a headache. I hope you find a solution for her soon. You certainly have your hands full. I am enjoying your trip report. Can't wait for the next "episode".
Jenna's health has been a bit of a roller coaster. The migraines did seem to reduce a little when we took away the stress of misssing school and having work get away from her or teachers accuse her of sluffing but she still has a few a week. I'm glad to hear that yours have redus=ced as you have gotten older. Glad to hear your enjoying the report I know I've been a way for a few days but I hope to post a new "episode" tomorrow.
You found the camera!!!!!:yay::woohoo::banana::dance3::woohoo: :yay: That is amazing news, I know it helped the rest of your trip for Jonnie...which helped you all! :thumbsup2

Looking forward to the MK day!! :cheer2:popcorn::popcorn:::cheer2:
Thanks for coming by. Finding the camera was a great bit of pixie dust. I hope to get MK day up.

Rachel and Lisa LOVED:love: the pictures of Princess. It is fun to look at old pictures and remember the feelings they bring back. I hope you are feeling much better today and that
you might be able to get a little rest this weekend. Insurance is such a necessary evil; but, it leaves us far short of what we need to provide adequate care for our loved ones,
ourselves included.:grouphug::hug: for EVERYTHING to work out and I hope the hospital will be able to recommend an EXCELLENT MD!! :thumbsup2

Looking forward to the next update! popcorn::popcorn:::yay:popcorn::popcorn::

Thinking of you :goodvibes, I hope everything is going well and you are feeling better!

Thank you so much for all your support and all of your posts. There has been alot going onboth with the family and as a result of my fall but I'll make that it's own post.

I wanted to apologize for not being around for a couple of days. A day or so after my fall I realized that it was hurting to breath and especially to laugh or cough. I had noticed some discomfort around my ribs after the fall but had not mentioned it because I figured it was just some bruising and my foot was bothering me so much that I was concentrating on it. Well after a sneeze caused me to break down sobbing my DH took me back to the ER and we discovered I have two cracked ribs. Really not fun. I must have hit them on the edge of the stairs on the fall down. DH blames the fact that I diden't catch it at first on me having a pretty high pain tolerance and not wanting to complain too much. Then yesterday DH had a regular app that I needed to acompany him too and after that he ended up in the ER for the rest of the day and into the evening with Neuro coming in to consult. It was finally decided that nothing else could be done until the results from the MRI we have scheduled for the 1rst comes in, but we spent 11 hours at at the hospital yesterday. Then today we have been running around all day trying to get a computer up and running for a friend of Tessas that really needed one for his homeschool curriculum. The computer was donated for free as was our freinds tech time but we've been busy with it all day. It will be worth it though when he gets it. Anyway I am sorry I haven't been around and I will try to post an actual update tomorrow.

God Bless you, I was worried about you and I see now I should have been!:grouphug::hug: That is why I kept haunting you, so you knew I was here and praying and to let you know I care. :flower3: I am incredibly sorry that on top of everyting else you have to deal with cracked ribs. I hope DH's MRI helps provide answers. Just know that even when you are too busy to be on the DIS, you are NOT forgotten! I know that God will Bless you for helping that young man with his computer. :goodvibes

I just saw it...WOW...THANK YOU!! :flower3:

Your Welcome. I actually thought I posted the message about the PM to your TR. I'm just glad you saw it.

Glad to see I am not the only one to do that :)

I do hope you are feeling better today and that your pain is improving. I pray this week will bring you much happiness and joy and I am so STOKED about your Vegas Anniversary...as I told you, that is another place I want to go..it would be a blast! I would go to see one of the Cirque de Soleil shows if I could, it would be :yay::dance3::banana:

Be good to yourself, your family needs you!

Thank you so much for the well wishes and prayers. I am getting pretty stoked about Vegas also. Your enthusiasm helped with that. My husband has always wanted to see go to the Tournament of Kings dinner show at Excalibur and since I found out that they will accomodate my dietary needs due to some pretty extreme food intolerances we are planning on that for sure. Also I was thrilled to find out there's an Earl of Sandwich in Planet Hollywood. I really wanted to try it at WDW but we never made it to Downtown Disney. We will do at least one probably two other shows just not sure which ones, possibly a Cirque Show. We took Jenna to a Cirque Show in Branson last summer and loved it. All the kids were supposed to go to summer camp but hers was closed do to lack of interest so John and I took her on a mini vacation just the three of us and let her pick one show. She picked the Cirque Show.

:rotfl:While I was uploading pics onto photobucket I realized that there was one thing I had forgotten to tell you about that Thanksgiving morning. While the kids and I were out doing laundry and such we made a souvenier stop at the gift shop. That place is huge for a gift shop. I went in with a purpose but the kids really wanted to spend more of there souvie money. Tessa chose a rather good sized Tinkerbell doll, Jenna a mini Minnie Mouse set in a clear heart shaped bag that she used as a purse for the rest of the week + and Jonnie a bus set complete with minature characters. He got pretty obsessed with all forms of transportation this trip. My purchase wasen't for me though. John is way to independent to not try to push himself in a wheelchair (he actually has gloves somewhere from when he was stuck in a wheelchair for several months after the accident)and his hands were getting pretty torn up so I was looking for any gloves that might help even a little. I found a pair of knit Mickey gloves with the help of a CM and we all went up to pay for our purchasses. As soon as I paid I asked the CM for a pair of scissors. She handed me them while looking at the customer she was helping at that moment and while she did she mentioned that I would want to be careful so I diden't cut the gloves. Just imagine the look of horror on her face when she turned and saw me cutting the fingers off the gloves I had just bought. :rotfl2:. I could tell she thought I was nuts:lmao:. I laughed when I saw a pic from later that day of John with his cut up gloves and coulden't believe I forgot to share that story. Next up "We return to your regurarly scheduld TR". I have a few getting ready picks but I may work them into the report a little instead of just doing a picture post but we shall see.

Hi there!! Just checking in... I'm so sorry to hear you were injured in that fall! I can't believe you were running around with cracked ribs! :scared1: I hope you are feeling back to yourself soon. :goodvibes

I'm also sorry to hear John is having trouble too - I hope the MRI brings some answers.

But I'm thrilled to hear Jonnie's bag turned up! We've had a lost & found experience that had a happy ending too. DH lost his wallet on our last day in 2009! We didn't find it in time to fly home without his ID but we made it home & his wallet turned up at the bottom of Rock 'n' Rollercoaster within a couple days & it was mailed to us with all of the contents. :thumbsup2

Hello, I just found this TR the other day, and all I can say you have some talent for writing for one, and second I admire the fact that you still keep the smile in what you present for us. I have crippling arthritis and Fibro myself, my DW have fibro and our DS(18) is on the spectrum with Aspbergers. Our DD (7) though is an engine all reved up. We tend to take the same approach as you seem to do, go with a smile and try to take things as they happen. Luckily I still cope with just a walking stick and our tryouts at Disneyland Paris worked fine
so we are ready for the bigger WDW now. As long as we keep a slow pace and plan so DS knows what will happen that day we are good.
Again thnx for the laughs and the fun, (and hope you all will get better real soon) you have provided so far, realy looking forward to the next installment :goodvibes

Just found this TR. I have a cousin in England with a TESSA and an old friend with a TESSA in Illinois.

Looking forward ot the rest of your TR.

I just noticed the link to your TR is gone!!! Love the new pictures though! And you have new visitors!! I hope you are feeling better and the pain has improved. I am off to bed shortly (LONG day), I just wanted you to know I was here, Praying!

It's good to see you Amy. I've been lurking on the Spectrum mommies TR and can't wait to read more. I'm hoping the MRI brings some results too. We definatley need some. It's always nice to hear of honest people out there. We diden't have as much with that honesty later in the trip but that's another story for another day.

Thanks for stopping by. Fibro is one those things I wish would just disapear from existence. For me if I diden't concentrate on the ppositive I think I'd go just a bit wacky (not that I'm not already LOL). It may be a little longer than I thought until my next installment but I will be back as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading. Wow more Tessa's I'll have to tell my Tessa.

The link's back (actually it was just hidden). That top picture was one of my wedding pics I'll have to fiddle with it more in a couple days. The pain is slowly getting less and less. I've been wondering how your day went. Thanks for coming by and thanks for the prayers.

Well here I am again without a real update :confused3. So sorry about that but I've been busy preparing for tomorrow. We are expecting a very large blizzard tomorrow:scared1: and John and I will be driving through it. His MRI is scheduled for tomorrow about two hours away. I am not thrilled with driving in a big storm but if we cancel it will be months until we are rescheduled. :headache:We need the results of this far to much for that. We are leaving early tomorrow morning to try to miss most of the storm but since his app is not actually until late afternoon we will be staying overnight. The kids are already at grandmas and John and I are exhausted and trying to finish packing so no updat on the horizon. I won't have internet service while I'm gone so I will see you when I get back. I would appreciate any prayers you could send this way though this storm has me nervous.

I know you will not see this until you get home; however, I wanted you to know I am thinking about you all so much, both for the MRI results and the weather.:grouphug::hug:Just know you are being lifted up and blanketed in prayer! :goodvibes

THANK YOU so very very much for the prayers. I believe they helped immensly as we faced many dangerous situations where I cannot logically explain how we made it out of them safely.

You are BAAACCKKK!!! God is good! :goodvibes

I hope when the results come in they will help provide the answers that are needed.

We are home and safe, although a bit stressed and sore. We ended up back in the ER for John the moment we got back in town. The car ride did him in. I am glad to be home! Hospital waiting room chairs are even less comfortable (I diden't know that was possible) with my injuries. Yet there were some advantages to this trip besides getting the MRI. The evening clerk at the hotel has a grandson she is helping to raise who has CHD's and is getting a wish (probably to WDW or a Disney cruise). I got to share with her all I have learned from reading others TR's about MAW trips, Give Kids the World, WDW and Universal Studios. It was wonderful and she seemend very excited. I told her about The DIS and I hope to see her here. I know this community would be such a great support to her. Also once we did the MRI, found the only open restaurant in the city and were safley in the hotel John and I had a very nice evening and an equally great, relaxing morning today and spent some much needed time together away from kids and doctors and lifes stressors. That in and of it self made it worth it but the MRI results are already back and they helped the ER docs tonight. They explained the results to John but he coulden't really understand them and I had unfortunatley left to pick up the kids so I have a few clues from John but I will have to talk to his docs to get the whole story. I will hopefully be back with a real update tomorrow.
