Our little thread of BIG Resort changes*OLD THREAD link on last pg. to new thread!

I am coming to the realization that I may now be incapable of actually chosing a resort. No longer suffering from resort changeritis, but resort paralysis!!!

How about you guys just pick for me!

I just don't know what I want anymore. DH wants BWI, DD6 wants AKL, and DD9 just wants to go back to the WL. Will we ever find a good resolution???

If they can't decide - you get to pick!

Dani if it makes you feel any better, I have been dreaming of the Poly again too for November. Dropping CL it is quite reasonable there. Although adding CL would make it even more magical.

On another note: Anyone have Flying Fish advice? Looking at changing an ADR.

We have a FF ADR in less than 4 weeks!!!!

Add me to the list of possible changes.....if we keep Feb, DH started questioning BLT. We were on the monorail last week and he was looking at the sky bridge and realized that we need to cross over to CR whenever we want to get on the monorail or grab something to eat. I think I spoiled him with staying in the tower twice and having everything so close. Assuming a 35% AP disc on both rooms (which I know is wishful thinking) the difference is only $66 more a night for a 1BR at BLT, both TPV. I need to convince myself and DH that the extra space, extra bathroom, kitchen, etc is totally worth losing the convince of being in the tower since the cost isn't significant. If I were saving over a $100/nt I think the decision would be easier. Maybe when we are up there in a few weeks we will head over to CR and BLT and walk the sky bridge and see what DH and the kids think.

Sellout!!! Just kidding Sheila! I LOVED AKL. I just hate that WL and AKL don't have standard rooms for 5 like the other deluxes!! I got up in the morning, headed to the Mara for coffee and then took my camera all over the resort for pictures. It was awesome. SOOOO peaceful!

Eating and taking pictures are 2 of my favorite things to do at Disney and I have a new camera this trip to play with
I have a ton of pics from BWI from our 2 trips last year so I am really looking forward to November now.

jenny I love the BW but my main purpose for staying there is the location and being able to walk to Epcot & DHS or ride on my scooter as the case may be but since Bob is such. Stubborn PIA and won't rent a scooter He insists we take the boats and while not as bad as loading an ECV onto a bus the boat takes a bit of manuevering so why not save money and stay someplace different if I can't have the convience of driving to Epcot and DHS.

The BW is wonderful and had there been a Std or WV available for my dates I would have downgraded and stayed there. I could have switched to GC GV but Bob not fond of BC after a bad Expierence at Cape May.

The Fall promo ends for my dates 9/15 so figured best change now before I might not have the chance.

I am TERRIFIED of clowns...especially Pennywise. Ronald McDonald is also not a friend of mine. He is the freakiest looking clown I've ever seen, aside from Pennywise the dancing clown. (I have seen that movie way too many times, clearly)

Since I had to bump our trip up (check out the ticker!) I have to be ready with our ADRs sooner than anticipated. I have a brand spankin' new Excel workbook going, and I'm now on the restaurants page where we narrow down the restaurants we want and for which meals. Also, I think we may end up back at the Poly. I just don't even know anymore.

During our YC stay, was it just a week ago we ate at Flying Fish, and all the Boardwalk restaurants. We all enjoyed our meals there!
But what scored top points was my meal at Kuzzina. I had the Fisherman's stew. Wow! Go figure. You'd think it should be at Flying Fish!!

Yeah, DH is still pretty firmly against the split stay.

I don't know why this is so difficult, honestly. They are all great choices and I know I will be happy no matter what. I wish I wasn't so wishy-washy though.

I was looking at a picture of the GF this morning, and DD9 came over and said "That's NOT where we are staying next, is it?" Geez, you'd think a little girl would be happy to stay at the Grand....not my little girls though. Although, they also preferred Pirates League to BBB, so you know, there you go...

We just did a GF stay Pre YC. Only 2 days, cause I never stayed at GF, and wondered if I'd like it. We it!!! My daughter didn't want to leave. Poor dear, she had to leave GF for YC lol! I was actually surprised at how much I liked it.

There is no denying that the GF is a beautiful resort. And it's the flagship resort for crying out loud....but, in the end, my crew isn't buying it....so, back over to the Epcot area we go...

We absolutely fell in love with that area. Best location in Disney, for our family. We wish they would plop the WL over there and we'd have perfection.

But, we'll see what the BWI has to offer. If nothing else, we have our favorite location.

With this said -- Christine and I have decided to save $500 and perhaps the chance of a bad standard view at WL and go with our Riverview room at POFQ.

It may be a mod,but it's much more in our budget and very pretty. I love the Nola theme!

I feel much more settled now after the decision has FINAlly been made, it only took 2 RCers 3 days and probably 1,000 emails, literally to decide!!!

This is my trip to try EVERYTHING new! First night I'm at POP with Rosie, Second night Rosie, Christine and I are at POR in a royal room Riverview! and then dec 5-9 at POFQ with Christine ... Whew! Three resorts in 6 days, now that's some RC'ing

Hi Marie, Sheila, Dani, Lacey and Koh! Just got off work, but wanted to say Candace: Our DH's must be in sync today, BWI CL it is for us and its going to stay. I will give you a complete review I promise!

I am not afraid of the slide, I will call it the rollercoaster slide! and it shall be my friend!!
