So, DD9 has an audition on Tuesday for a stage production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. She has chosen "Part of your World" from Little Mermaid as her audition song (because it's my favorite). I love hearing her sing it.

Well, I am at the start of a long weekend! Off until 9/4!! The girls start school on 9/4 and I am just excited to have them both at the same school again! I can't believe I have a 1st grader and 4th grader! I already know both of their teachers and love them so I think it's gonna be a great year! . They both attended their old daycare and kindergarten today for the last time. Lots of tears all around...

So, today, we took our 5 month old kitten for her spay today, and she made it through just fine, but....during the course of the procedure, they discovered that she is missing a kidney and her reproductive organs were pretty disfigured.

The reproductive organs are gone now, and the good thing is that she is a happy, healthy kitten and the vet said that she should continue to be healthy and live a long life. They will just monitor her kidney functioning annually to make sure the one she has is working properly. We were pretty shocked about the discovery...and the vet bill that ended up twice the amount we had been quoted because it turned into an exploratory surgery...

She is sleeping right now. She has been through a lot! When she is awake, she is stumbling around the house like a drunk pirate, while the meds continue to wear off...

So, that was my day....looking forward to some relaxing...

Hi guys!! Well it's OFFICIAL!!!! my early bday present/ Christmas present! I'm headed to Disney DEC 3-DEC 9th with my Dis buddies Janet, Linda/ GRumpy Grandma, Linda Magic (should be there the same time), Rosie, and I am hoping some Disney Magic might allow Christine to join us too!!

Who'd have thought! I'm so excited to share 5 fun filled days with these ladies! I bought my plane ticket today. So it's official!

I am sharing a room on the 3rd of Dec. with Rosie at Pop, I've never been to a value, so this will be a trip of firsts for me! But you know what, I'm fine with trying new things this trip-- it's perfect for that I think!

On the 4th I'm homeless and trying to find a cost efficient option -- pickings are getting slim! I'm a deluxe gal, but prices are too high unless splitting costs with a couple others - and I'd like to stay at the same resort as the others!
I'm seriously considering reserving a royal room at POR, I've always been intrigued by POFQ (completely sold out) and POR -- might be a good time to try it. My only concern is I want to be close to the bus and pool and main blg. Have any of you stayed at POR? And did you like it? I guess I can truly do anywhere for one night!!! on the 5th I believe we all move in with Linda at her timeshare! it's going to be a blast. I think Janet managed to book a room at POR preferred room for a good rate on the 4th, so now it's just a matter of me figuring out a home base for the 4th

I'm so thankful for my DH finally coming around and letting me do this trip -- he's the best!!! And truly, I don't need anything else for Christmas
I'm just so happy to be going to WDW in December (I've never been during holiday season before!!!) and meeting our dear RCer friends is the cherry on top!

Ugh, send your good thoughts ladies. DH's dad just had a heart attack and is being rushed to the nearest cardiac center. It is actually his 5th. Sounds bad this time.

As for us, we just have a quiet day at home planned. I am in trouble for spending almost $180 at Wal Mart last night. I did get a lot for our trip and most of it was on sale. Oh well, we'll be some where in the MK this time next week, so I'm not going to let him being mad at me phase me.

I am so happy to be back in the house and out of the shore. WOOOO!! Now to get planning away for DISNEY!!! I think it is going to be April. Once the kids go to bed and I have time to myself I am going to play around on the Disney TA site and see what I come up with.

I hope she gets it, but I told her to suck it up and be gracious even if she gets cast as an Oompa Loompa. At close to 5 ft tall though, she might be safe, lol!

Thank you all for your positive thoughts. FIL was very lucky....again. He has another stent now, and Dr. explained a few more minutes and he might not be with us anymore.

I just got home from work, my parents were here to help me out watching the kiddos until DH got home from the hospital. Not good though, his family's tension with us, and seeing him go to hospital with his evil...cough....sister instead of me supporting him was hard. Now some of that tension has boiled over here.

Hoping some sleep will help everybody. Hugs to all who sent them my way.

I'm glad the fil will be ok. I totally understand the tension with a sil. I was surprised that my nephew's birthday went as well as it did.

Thank you. I have put the paint on one of them, and have to do the other three today. I still have a sore finger from poking myself with the pins that were hold the appliques onto the t-shirts and I sewed them on.

It's a nice rainy day here. I should have been able to sleep late, but Joey's football coaches saw to making sure that nonsense didn't happen. He had to be at the school at 7 AM this morning for football practice. Today is all about getting the t-shirts painted, washing clothes, and getting as much packed as I can. We start our drive to WDW on Friday morning after we have breakfast at The Original Pancake House.

It's a nice rainy day here. I should have been able to sleep late, but Joey's football coaches saw to making sure that nonsense didn't happen. I have to figure dinner out and I'm thinking spaghetti with meatballs. Then I'll take some monzerella balls wrap them in Grands biscuits and then cook them in the oven instead of garlic bread.

We are checking into the Swan just for one night before checking into the AKL. Bell services at the Swan said they would take our luggage to the AKL for us, but I'm pretty sure we would need to get our luggage from the AKL bell services when we get back to our room from the park that night. The only thing is, that we'll be at the MK and it is open until midnight (thanks to PM EMH). Once we get back to the AKL, will bell services still be open to be able to bring our luggage to our room, or will we have to wait until the next morning to get it?

Last year when I arrived at 11pm at CSR I left my luggage with bell services when we got off ME. I checked in but we wanted to go to EMH at MK. I told them I would be back around 1am . Bell services said he would be there until 1am BUT the guys that work in the luggage room are 24 hours so I could go there to get my stuff if he had left . We got back at 1:25 am and he had waited for us


I know I have seen people in luggage room when I arrive at 12-1:30 am (usually take late flights /cheaper). So you should be ok. You will just have to carry/roll your stuff yourself but at least have access to it.(AKL isn't too hard, it is not that big and elevators ).

Okay so I am working on my plans because we make our ADRs relatively soon. I already know I shouldn't even be considering this, but would you book BOG on Easter night? I know MK is just going to be packed. Been there, done that. I was thinking instead to spend the day at the pool, maybe even a water park, then have dinner at Cali Grill, and since the parks will be open late, head out in the late evening. What sounds better?
