Crossed, and double crossed:goodvibes

If they get too bad, you can always crush up some pill in their food that will knock them out.

When I was pregnant with Joey, I worked in a day care with a lady from Italy. She was the one that taught me to make the homemade spaghetti sauce I use in my lasagna. Now I just can't eat lasagna at an Italian restaurant, because I just don't think it's nearly as good as what I make at home. The last time we ate at an Italian restaurant here, the DH got a sampler meal that had lasagna on it. I swear it was almost like he was cheating on me. After the server left our table, I handed him my knife and said something like, "you order a meal with lasagna in it. Why don't you just go ahead and stab this through my heart while your at it." :lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2: too funny!

Hello!!!

Another successful day at WDW. We did Epcot this morning, and DHS at night. (Had a nice nap in the middle). Lunch was at Via Napoli and again, it was absolutely fantastic!! :goodvibes

We did not do a TS for dinner. We have LOVED not being on the DDP and just using TiW instead...so much better for our family and how we eat!!! And none of that awful bloating!!! :scared:

Tomorrow morning, we have ressies at Tusker House for breakfast. It will be our first time. We have not been fans of the breakfast buffets so hoping this will be a little different...the girls just want to see Daisy Duck...

Oh, and I was in fact upgraded to LV!!! I logged onto MDE today and it showed us in a Club Level Lagoon/Pool view room. Yay for pixie dust!!! pixiedust:

Every ride has been a walk on, including TSM tonight!!! We went on ToT 3 x in a row with no wait!!! :cool1:

Seriously having the greatest time! Missing my kitty though :worried:....I know that sounds silly...I just feel bad for leaving him for so long....(my DFIL is going in and feeding him and changing his litter box...)

Well, that's it for now!!! :wave2:

Miss I've not tried Artist Point, but it gets rav reviews. We like Narccoosses ( lobster :goodvibes) and timing it for Wishes would be special. In January we tried Jiko, and really enjoyed that too.

Wookie I'd try YC CL! It's kind of exciting trying new resorts. And you wouldn't get that solid balcony!

Mousemommy I am so jealous, your trip is getting better & better. Walk on for TSMM and TOT? I have to agree on the DDP vs TIW. We did 2 trips without DDp, then in Jan we booked with the stay, play, dine promo, and really didn't enjoy it, or the bloat!! Aug is back to room only and TIW!

jennyjinx I think you should for sure post that pic and story on "that" thread!!!!

DH likes the dining plan because it means it's all paid for and you don't have to think about it. I'm trying to not be so concerned as to whether or not we're saving money and do more CS, etc. so we're not tied up with all those TS meals and be uncomfortably full.

I made my case for AKL all the way...he's thinking...

Hehehe. Sometimes I wonder if it would be so bad to just go with the kids since he doesn't really enjoy it himself...

Now I guess I need to decide whether we stay at CR or if we indeed go to AKL instead. Although to stay within the budget we have now, it'd have to be a pool view bunk bed room instead of savannah bunk bed room...we'd save almost $500 that way...?

Well, that's why I leave my husband home :rolleyes1. He wouldn't enjoy himself, so I go with my adult daughter, and meet up with my girlfriend from L.A. there. Girls road trip :woohoo: besides, someone has to stay home with the cats, and dog!!!

Thanks ladies. The pain isn't as bad right now so hopefully the antibiotics are kicking the infections butt! I just need a nap after work.

koh I am not married, but I do go with my children alone and have also brought family along. I really enjoy the solo trips! This June trip will be the first time with BOTH kids, but I think we will be alright. I may be slow getting through security but anyone who has a problem with it will just have to grow some patience. Other than that the time alone with the kids is great.
:flower3: glad to hear your feeling better!

The shirt I ordered for my October trip showed up yesterday;

:thumbsup2 awesome!

Boy, I have a lot of catching up to do!!

I got my tooth pulled today. My dentist may be the sexiest man alive, by the way! So he gave me a shot, let it sit for 10 minutes. Came in and topped it off and tried to start. No go. So he gave me ANOTHER shot and I saw stars! He gave me another few minutes to numb up and then he came back. It was over in less than 5 minutes, no joke. They all joked that I wouldn't feel anything for weeks. Well, 10 minutes after I left I was suddenly in excruciating pain despite the novocaine. It was so bad that I put a blanket over me on the couch and started crying hysterically. My mom called the dentist because she didn't know what to do and they said that because the infection is so bad, when he pulled the tooth the infection ruptured and it would spread before dying off. FABULOUS! I took 3 Vicodin and they barely took the edge off. :sad2: I am still in pain but feeling a little better. Hopefully getting a good night of rest.

That is AWESOME! I am so happy for you! There's totally nothing wrong with wanting as much time as possible in Disney!

Oh ouch!! Ya think he would have warned you. The minute I get home from the dentist, if he's done any work like a filling or something, I take a Advil before novocaine wears off. Hope it settles down soon.

:yay: no your not crazy. We love AKL, it is very relaxing. The pool is beautiful, I love the secluded hot tubs, and enjoy the activities. Culinary tour, and Cultural Safari are Favs.
Are you requesting Zebra trail? We were in room 4420 ( or was it 4501? ugh.). It was one of those rooms, whichever had Arusha view, lol, Zebra trail, and if I looked down from our balcony I could see a small public balcony with rocking chairs overlooking the savanna that not many people seem to know about, shhhh! I think it may have been on ground floor? Look for it! Great place to sit and enjoy Arusha. Sorry, we had 2 rooms, the pool view, then we switched to Savanna. Both were 4th floor Zebra trail! Maybe the savanna room was the 4501 because we were further down the trail in that room.

When we aren't on DDP, I put aside the $ it would have cost to get the DDP, and when we get to the resort, I go down to the gift shop and put that $ on a gift card, and use that for our dining only. It's just like being on the DDP :goodvibes just show the card!

KOOK: Thanks for your kind words about Mom. :flower3: .....I am not a fan of Via Napoli either. Everyone I know simply loves this place and I, too, am just... meh. :upsidedow I'd like to give Tokyo Dining a whirl. ::yes:: .....I know that 11 consecutive nights at Atrium Club is pretty hard to swallow. My personal opinion is that your MK split should be paired with a Epcot resort this time around. :hyper: Since DH likes Epcot area anyway, a 7 CR / 4 YC split may be just what the Dr ordered to keep things RC fresh in KOOKville. :thumbsup2 You know you have your favorite WL to fall back on. Hmmm, otherwise there's always the WL Cabins :faint: which you will be itching to book after my glowing 2014 review. :lmao:

babyberger: I just received my email from Poly CL ipo today. A longtime NJ friend is taking her daughter on her first WDW trip princess: which may coincide with our July Poly re-schedule ressie, so I will leave it as-is for now until my friend finalizes her itinerary. Mom will have to wait until cool weather (if ever) to attempt another WDW trip.

Missoutandabout: Where did you buy your adult-sized "Time Out" chair? I need one for mom & dad. :rotfl: ...I think Artist's Point will be a very nice anniversary meal on your first night. :hyper: Please keep me posted as I have it on tap to add a little culture to our 2014 anniv trip to those wild and wacky Wilderness Cabins!

JanetB: A big hello to y'all! :wave2:

disneydreamin247 & peteykirch: I am a Jersey girl and I agree about being tough to please in the Italian department. ::yes::

disneydreamin247 Sure hope your tooth is feeling better by now. :)

koh1977: Alright for the big move to AKL PV. :cool1:

I'm thinking of requesting king bed room first, then Zebra Trail, yes. :-)

Wow...I have missed a lot! My work is giving me full day shifts now when the kiddos are at school, so I am happy about that. Not sure how we will handle the summer though. It may be back to all evenings for me again. :confused3

Candace: I am so happy you are having such a wonderful time! I hope we love having the TIW card too, I plan on buying it when we arrive!

Dani: You poor thing, I am surprised the dentist didn't mention the infection problem at the time to you or to who you were with? You surely didn't drive yourself home!! Feel better soon, hope the kiddos let you get some sleep.:grouphug:

SueM: Yes, I should post it but I cannot be bothered. The only Disers that matter are you guys!!:grouphug:

Marie: Continued good thoughts for your DH and his finger. How stressful for you both.

Peterkirch : I too love that Epcot shirt!:thumbsup2

Miss: Good luck with your parents, there is nothing worse than family drama. I hope they shower Miss M with all the love she deserves.:flower3:

Koh: How's DH...still cranky about Disney talk? I bet he has cooled down now.:goodvibes

Kook: One day DH and I will stay at WL, really really want to try it there. Just thought I would say that out loud!

JanetB: Hope you have a nice time with your DD while your DH is away! A break from cooking is always nice. :goodvibes

Iheart: :coffee::hyper:

Well, the little creatures are getting up...will check in later!!:wave2: Hi to Melissa, Pas, Magic, and all that I have missed! I think I saw a newcomer squeek in there too!

Thanks everyone. I am still very sore, but not as bad as yesterday. I took Advil, but I'm bringing Vicodin to work just in case. Thank you for all the well wishes.

magic what part of Jersey are you in again? I feel like we've discussed this but I have mush brain. :rotfl:

Jen my mom stayed in the car with the kids. I think they figured I was so numb I wouldn't feel the pain. They said they gave me more novocaine than they've ever given anyone!

I officially have flights for next month! It really feels really now!!!

Dani so sorry you had terrible pain. I was going to mention to you the other day that my dentist said the abscess had to be cleared up before he would pull my tooth once. I wish I had now. Feel better

Krystal Yippie for AKL. Your not crazy at all and one of the things I loved about AKL is you will forget your even in Disney, like people talk about the Poly, it is like a vacation within a vacation :)

I need to get my butt in gear with my trip plans as we are going for the more relaxed stay this time around. Our first day will be a Poly day and then we plan on a Cabana for either one morning or afternoon, and only going to MK and EPcot. Fewer ADRs as we will be doing like SueM said putting the money we would have spent on the DP onto a Gift Card instead. Still up in the air about the Wishes Dessert Party but I am really thinking watching the Fireworks from the beach might be what we do instead.

Kook and Magic- just wanted to say, I'm on the bike at the Y reading a book...with a Via Napoli business card I use as a bookmark!! :) We do love it, maybe it's the nice wait and serve staff. I'm a pretty basic girl when it comes to food, but my husband, who is more adventurous and travelled than I also enjoys it.

We love Via Napoli too!!

Have to jump in on the Via Napoli topic here. We love Via Napoli although we have only had Apps, Desserts and Pizza never tried their pasta dishes. Via Napoli is now our "must do" ADR!

We ate at Tutto Italia in December and neither Bob nor I were over the top impressed but like you Jersey folks I am use to good Italan food being Italian myself.

Chilly and overcast day here in Connecticut, I feel a very lazy day is ahead for me. Have a good one my fellow RCers!

So after telling me to make the switch, DH says I need to figure out meals now, and he doesn't want to talk about it anymore. Hehehe. :-)

Juniors have ACT today and seniors have graduation practice/picture or something then free to go, SO I have an extra free period!! That means plenty of time to redo ADRs now that we've changed resorts. I don't want to have to change all of them, but a few probably need to move...

If we make an ADR at another monorail resort, would it be best to take the bus to MK then monorail to resort?

The rest of the week is supposed to be nice here- at least inland CT. I am hoping for good weather on Monday - tennis against Bunnell at Short Beach!
