Just touching on what Jeanette mentioned, I'm so very thankful for all of you. I know I can always count on you all. I can come and run something by this fabulous group here -- even for something I think is the tiniest, silliest of things -- because there is such a wealth of knowledge and support, regardless of situation or issue. Just popping in to say.....16 days to go!!

Okay actually I am nervous as heck about the cruise! I am so hoping it turns out to be great but will take it as it comes. I just hate the not knowing!!

I am so excited for you! The cruise is going to be amazing!!!!

Our August trip has gained a night (now we're up to 11 nights....) AND we added a 3 night CRUISE!!!!!!

So now, we are 8/16 - 8/21 at AoA, then 8/21 - 8/24 on the Disney Dream to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay and then 8/24 - 8/27 at AKL CL!!!!!

We are thrilled!!!! DH and the kids have wanted to do the cruise for awhile but I've been very hesitant but....this is going to be an amazing adventure for our family! So excited!

I knew this from facebook! Which of your friends do I need to beat up for saying you need an intervention?? Seriously though, I think this is such a great idea. FWIW, I like the cruise in the middle with park time on both ends (you get to go back and do your favorites!). I know you've changed since this but I vote you add back more days at the end (it's always fun spending someone else's money ) An yeah, I know I don't get a vote!

Someone may have influenced me to start looking into 4 night cruises.

ME TOO! I was thinking this would be perfect for our summer trip when we are going to be in FL for 2 weeks. But I priced them and it is over $6000 for a four day cruise. I just don't think I can spend that much. Maybe I should go back and try and price 2 interior rooms and that could be cheaper??? I don't love the cruise site; I find it not very user friendly.

We're baaaaaaaa-aaaaaack. Another epic journey yesterday thanks to lovely weather in Chicago. (Thanks, Chicago! ) Got in at 1am after a detour to refuel the plane. Flight attendant came on when we landed at our pit-stop, "I know y'all don't wanna hear this but... Welcome to Detroit."

I've been reading along when I could stop in. And, I've been seeing CH-CH-CHANGES Galore! You guys never disappoint. Will post after I get back from my torture session. Had to get Miss M up and dressed for Halloween at school today (no parade again this year, but this time due to rain instead of people blowing their cars up due to parking on dry leaves ). She wanted to go as Dorothy. I'll try to post a pic of it later.

Welcome home I just dropped my Dad off at the airport...it's windy, rainy, and warm out...hoping the storm waits until he is well away from the area and back to SC! It was great to have him here. My DS5 has just this week been diagnosed with OCD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. (Similar to HRH) My father has been invaluable to have here (along with texts from Kook, my sis Dani, and least but never least Melissa) Sorry for the OT mention...I am so happy to see those beautiful pics, and I will totally help you pass the time waiting for January COME ON DECEMBER!!!

So while I haven't been posting here, rest assured, I have been ch..ch...ch..changin! It's been February at the Poly to February extended family trip at POR, then at FW cabins, then extended family backed out and now thinking Spring Break instead??? UGH! What to do what to do????

And I really would love to add a cruise in July. I think I need to win the lottery!!!

Spring break would be awesome..but crowded and more expensive. But F&G...decisions....where are you now? February??? Poly

DH is holding up waaayyyyy better than me, but I am okay. I'll all about the little guy and the family. But I will say, this is bringing us all a lot closer together. Each of us is trying to do what's best. Which is having a yell free home, with understanding...it's not quite yell free rather yell, reduced with lots of love

Jeanette Saga of Bob Update So we are out shopping picking up last minute items and Bob tells me he has to take his Mom out tomorrow to the store for stuff she needs while we are gone and I remind him we have to drop Bella off at Best Friends and this look of confusion comes over his face and he says "when are we leaving?" I say our flight is Sunday @ 6:30am ......at which he says I thought we were leaving on Monday?

I know we discussed this as we talked about having to turn the clocks back the night before our flight

Guess who has not stared to pack yet? Yep Bob

jenny Me too! I am excited to be heading back to AKL it has been 7 years since I stayed there and I really thought he be more excited since he has never stayed there No accounting for some men's attitude.

All of my friends think I need an intervention.

I looked at a 4 day that was over $5000.....I don't get cruise pricing I guess....our 3 day is half that price.

I really am worried about having less time at WDW....I think it's mostly because we don't know what to expect with the cruise and I am worrying about thinking "we should have stayed at Disney"....

It's summer, so we can certainly add on more days, and DH has no real limit with how much time he can take, soooo I need to continue crunching numbers....the problem is me trying to get a time period before school starts and after camp ends.....I don't want to pay for camp just to miss some days...

3 night dream, followed by 6 nts CL BWI. Total cost for both $4900. This doesn't include our food, AP that we already purchased, or airfare. There will also be our tips, and and gift cards for the kiddos at disney. We usually give them $50'each to spend. Not much but really we don't do souvenirs that much anymore. Really hoping to book another cruise on board and hoping there may be a room only bounce back for our May dates.

I'm kind of torn about our WDW portion being before our cruise....I feel like if we hate the cruise I'd still have WDW to look forward too, but, I'm not 100% sure when the girls will go back to school. Sometimes it's before Labor Day, sometimes after. If after, we'd be able do our WDW after.

I was just looking at AKL CL before then cruise and then 3 nights RPC after, which would take us into the 27th (cutting it close?)

And then I need to buy 8 day hoppers from UT which are almost $900 than our 4 day hoppers would be.

Maybe I'm just thinking about it too much. My kids already said they are fine with only 4 park days...

Yeah, my sep/October trip was only 5 park days and we did everything we wanted.

I think that we will have to be more diligent about getting up in the morning and hitting a park. We sometimes say...aw, forget it an just go at night after napping and pool time.

DD9 just said "Mom, we've got to get on that ship! There's room service to deliver Mickey Head ice cream bars!! Priorities.
