Yes ma'am, I got Sunny. I actually got to watch that tonight. I wasn't needed for the raid in Star Wars: The Old Republic, so I got to watch tv.

Gotta take advantage of the free tix! When we lived in Cali we figured we had to do DL (we had done it on vacaiton before we moved) and having a 3 year old made it a bit of a cost change for us!

SOOOO stoked about the dress! I was so worried they would email and say "Sorry, we oversold" but I just got shipment confirmation!

She is definitely wanting to walk -- we try to sit her down and she leg-locks. It's funny because she's sort of freaked by Minnie now but at least she can crawl away.

I am starting to appreciate the virtues of a TA more and more!!!

Last day in MD today, we have had a very nice visit, despite the deluge of rain!!

Today is oldest DD's birthday!!! I now have a Disney adult!!

Can't wait until she gets home tomorrow and sees the awesome room makeover that DH has been working on since we left. It's a complete surprise and I hope she loves it!!!

Her room has been the same decor since she was 10 months old, lol!

Agreed! You all, as always, were right! And I love deviled eggs!!! Our grocery store has deviled egg potato salad and it's my summer sin food!

Where will you spend the most time? Are you planning on a lot of time at the resort?

I got our Mickey Mail for our DL trip. I was disappointed that it came in this..


My DH got home before I got home and when he found it, for some reason decided that it was a great idea that he open it. Then he didn't understand why I was so upset. I do love the luggage tags much better that you get with a DL package than you do with a WDW one.

If the opening the box wasn't crazy enough, the knuckle-headed DH had the nerve to say that he got the ticket that has Mickey and Minnie on it. I was like "aww heck no, that one is so mine".

It's funny - we appreciated the non-descript Mickey mail for DL because we surprised DD with the trip. She was only 3 but she still would've recognized the mice on the cover.
Poo on DH for opening it, though!!! Also, if it helps, your tags are much cuter than they were 4 years ago!



SOOO, I was so stoked when I saw that Disney released the Chase FD offer... even more so when my TA emailed and said she was on hold did we want to try to snag it for December. After a loooong wait, we were able to change one room to CSR with FD, so I am moving the whole crew over and hoping to snag FD for the rest when it comes out to public. I give the TA a lot of credit -- the CMs couldn't decide how many rooms could be booked with one Disney Visa... I was hoping at least 2 (but wanted 4!) but I'll take what we can get. Baby steps!

So, I've got a question. I switched resorts on the phone and my conf# stayed the same. When I booked originally I got an email of my ressie that broke down price per night. Is there a way I can get these details off the Disney website? I also want to see what deposits have been applied (changed during the rebooking) and what the next payment due date is.

(Was really wanting an AB room at POR for the Murphy bed, but there aren't any it seems for the 4 nights (although there's pool view if we up it to 5 nights??))

My dwarf name was FUNNY....I'll take that, though not everyone always appreciates my humor.

DD10 loves her room!!! We actually got home yesterday morning and she happened to run upstairs right away, and my FIL was talking to me so I couldn't run up and see her reaction, but I heard her squeal " LOOK AT MY ROOM!!!!!"

It went from Pepto Bismal pink (with lots of Disney) to bright blue (the color is called Brilliant Blue by Behr) and while there are still some Disney touches, it is much more "grown up" per her request. She still needs to pick curtains and probably some wall decals....she would like a quote from Walt Disney.
I am going to have to research how to get those made.

There may not be any preferred rooms available for those dates but I don't see how they can book up all the AB rooms since they area spread across the various categories - as someone who ended up with a Mansion and AB room last trip.
I would go ahead and book a POR room and keep checking for availability for a preferred room (to guarantee AB). You're closing in on the full trip due date and I feel like a lot of rooms open up at the 60 day mark.

I also like your dates! We were there 6/24-7/1 last trip and the crowds weren't terrible... early mornings and late nights had us walking on most rides for the first hour and 5-10 min waits during PM EMH at MK. Plus, when we lived in Florida I felt like each day of summer grew more humid than the one before it... hence why we're doing Sept instead of August this year!

My info is from before the new MDE was introduced, but I was able to pull up the newest resort info in my Disney account and view the details (room/price per night) with the rezzie #. Any changes are supposed to automatically generate an email but I found I only got 1/3 of the emails. You can call and have them resend it (I would just wait until Sunday or Monday since the new offer just dropped).


TA is helping me get everything lined up to try to grab FD when offer is released to public next week. I did a prelim authorization so she doesn't need to check in and can just jump on it... *fingers crossed* It would just be the most amazing thing if we can swing it for all 4 rooms -- no sharing, and even military/AP discount wouldn't cover 4 rooms! The only downside is I won't get my AP (since you have to get tickets with the offer) but it's worth it to potentially save the fam $$$.

***Funny/sad story: my parents are traveling and hit up a mall that has a Disney Outlet. They called and asked if I needed anything and relayed that I hadn't been lying about the Frozen mania. Apparently a CM brought a box of merchandise out (swim stuff) and people went NUTS! It even said "summer swim essentials" in marker on the side!
Even better, my mom was looking for cover ups for DD6 and asked me what the snowman's name from Frozen was (I guess 'In Summer' was playing on the TVs). I told her and she said "Olaf, that's right" and a bunch of people came over and said "where? Where did you see Olaf?" She stood there for a minute and explained she was just talking. The CM shook her head and said "Oh, you can't drop names like that in here... people go nuts." My mom couldn't believe it.

It's just so out of control! Of course they had 40% off planes things, but nothing from that was even remotely interesting to anyone.

Yup, we actually found some in EBAY that she LOVES, so we ordered those tonight!!! That's my girl!!!

She also asked for a Red Sox decal with a # 15 for Dustin Pedroia, her favorite player. So of course we got on board with that.

I was a manager at Gymboree for many years( I work with dh now in family business) . Dd is going to work there when she gets home from school this summer. My friend I worked with is still there and has known dd since she was 3.

DH calls Gymboree the Circle of Death: for a 6 yo who is tall (and needs size 8 length) it`s the only place to find `dad approved` skirts... so we earn gymbucks. Then we go to spend gymbucks... and the cycle repeats.
Sort of like Disney Bounceback offers ;-)

We love gym bucks!!! DD has so many clothes, its outrageous! But I can hardly help myself. It's definitely addicting!

We went to the botanical garden today to see the tulips! They were gorgeous as usual. It's been a nice Saturday so far.

Thanks, I thought the tags were super cute. I'm still not happy with him for opening it, but he keeps telling me to "get over it" because he "didn't want to do anything Disney this trip anyway".

I wish i could help. I tried logging into my reservation for September, and I couldn't find information like that. It might be because my reservation is isn't in my name, but the friend I am going with.

We love gym bucks!!! DD has so many clothes, its outrageous! But I can hardly help myself. It's definitely addicting!

My MIL used to make comments about my shopping until I showed her the Gymbucks/Kohls cash fun. I also stick to the clearance racks - Scored jeans for LO for $8 before bucks! Now my MIL is a pro and we team up on visits.

Def understand; DH tried to throw away new Parks DVD!!! *shakes head* Boys.

QS at DL.... hmmmm. There was a place that did 'bag lunch' for WoC that was decent and California Tortilla Factory was good. Other than that nothing blew us away... we ended up doing us Bayou twice because CS looked 'eh'... but we went off season both times and some places closed early - we do sit down lunch/CS dinner usually. All that said, you can walk to DtD and options there are awesome!!

Did random trip up to Annapolis and ended up having a blast! I just wanted to get girls out a bit but we made a great day of it! Now they are good and tired as a bonus!

I feel so bad for her! i email her at least twice a day to "check in"! Im losing my mind! That POR exclusion really through me off of my game! Please tell me im not the only crazy person!

You are not crazy!! You do belong here. And the POR exclusion has thrown a friend of mine off too. I am helping them book their trip and now they will be at Caribbean Beach instead I think. Coronado Springs is completly booked for their dates.
