We just returned from a stay at the Innkeeper's Club at the BWI. There was a family with our same last name, and they were brought up to the concierge check-in area literally a minute after we were. Apparently the bellman had asked them if they were [my husband's first & last name] and they had told him yes, they were. They were wrong, of course; the man's first name was completely different from my husband's, but I guess he was just listening for the last name.
The CM checking us in kept saying to the bellman, "They're not concierge. They're regular guests." Then he told the bellman to give them free snacks from the lounge. After that, he gave them a free upgrade to concierge level, I guess because they'd been brought up there by a cast member.
I thought it was interesting that another family got a free upgrade, because they had our same last name and didn't listen too closely to the bellman
Cheers!
