~Our June '09 adventure~ I'm home! Started TR 7/2

:lovestrucWOW great dress your sis and all the girls look beautiful and the guys look handsome.

Love the prom pics! Your sister's red dress reminds me of my prom dress, which was the same style and had similar rhinestone beading, but it was hot pink! :)

1 month from today...

If you haven't seen the prom pics, I posted a few!

1 month from today will be June 21, which means we will be waking up in Nashville and getting back on the road!

We'll drive through the mountains and eventually make it to Georgia!

Then, we'll stop for breakfast at a Cracker Barrel. Yum!

We'll keep on driving through Georgia because it's the longest state ever! Haha. Eventually, we'll make our way through Atlanta, which is crazy busy!

We'll just get eat snacks in the car for lunch. We usually never feel like stopping because we want to get to Florida!

Finally, we'll see the "Welcome to Florida" sign and have to stop at the Welcome Center. We always stop here to get maps, brochures, etc. of WDW just because it gets us even more excited that we're so close.

Finally, we will make it to Gainesville, where we will spend the night. We'll check-in to our hotel and get settled in.

It's Father's Day, so we will head over to Red Lobster and enjoy ourselves!

After eating, we usually head to the Walgreens there just to look around and see if there's anything we think we've forgotten.

Then, we'll head back to the hotel, where we'll get ready for bed, watch t.v., and mom and I will switch our purses over to our WDW bags!

We'll go to bed, but everyone knows that I won't be able to sleep. I toss and turn all through the night. I'm just to excited to sleep!

Question of the Day...

Today's question comes from WDWRocksMySocks!

What is your favorite WDW souvenir that you've brought home?

Haha, I love the Disney soap!

Whoa that figurine is beautiful!

My answer to your question: I would love to go to WDW in the early fall when everyone's at school and the crowds are low! I'd take my parents, my B/F, sis, her B/F, my grandparents, uncle, and the little guy! Wow, sounds like our group that's going next year! Haha. We'd stay for 4 weeks...and at OKW!

Woo! :woohoo:

I haven't done the pin trading thing yet!

Aw, your sister looked gorgeous! Loved the two dresses -- especially the second one. Cute!!

Ha, doesn't Georgia feel like the LONGEST state ever? It just drags on and on. :scared: Nothing against that state of course, but seriously! I do have to admit though, I do love driving down (from Indiana) to WDW. It's a long, but fun road trip...especially when you hit that "Welcome to Florida" sign!!

Time to catch up on some questions...

What is your favorite restaurant NOT in a park, but still on WDW property? Believe it or not, I've NEVER ate any restaurant outside of the parks. :scared1: Yeah, I know! We'll going to WCC in August. I'm really looking forward to it!

What is your favorite WDW souvenir that you've brought home?
Pins, pins and more pins!!! Seriously, I'm addicted to them. I just heard the best expression for them -- Disney crack. It's so true! :lmao:

If you could add any Resort to WDW, what would be the theme?
Ooh, good question! I'd say something Egyptian themed. I'd love to see what Disney Imagineers could come up w/. Or, perhaps I'd suggest completing one of the four never built resorts The Mediterranean and Venetian resorts sounded really neat!

My question for you...

Which extinct attraction would you want to bring back?

Haha, yes nothing against Georgia, but it just takes FOREVER!

You'll love WCC!

Haha, Lynn said that pins were Disney crack on her TR!

Oooh I have to go look at that link!

My answer to your question: I REALLY miss the Skyway! It had the best views! It's also one my favorite memories at WDW when I was younger.

Ha, that's where (Lynn's TR) I got it from. Isn't that the best expression? I was so amused by it. :rotfl:

The skyway was AWESOME!! I wish they could bring it back.

The favorite souvenir that I have brought home is the Sippy cups with the water globe at the bottom for my niece and nephew I know nothing big but you should of seen their faces. :) Full of excitement and joy they wer excited. I bought my nephew a Lion King Sippy cup and my niece a Mulan one.

That's a good question! They already have had the one I love: an Escalade!

My favorite souvenir would probably be my pins. Or this really cute Tinkerbell print I got at the Art of Disney store in the Animation building.

Question of the Day...

Today's question comes from that's nice!

What is your favorite restaurant NOT in a park, but still on WDW property?

I guess I have to answer this since it was my question! LOLOL
I think it would be Kona breakfast. We always have a great time here and I love the food... plus the coffee is Da BOMB. (and I don't even like coffee!! LOL)

Today's question comes from WDWRocksMySocks!

What is your favorite WDW souvenir that you've brought home?

I always like when DW picks out Christmas ornaments with the year on them. Or I like the photo books that we put all our pictures in from our trips.

MY QUESTION:::Which night time show/parade is your favorite?

I can't choose just one. I have two ...
