~Our June '09 adventure~ I'm home! Started TR 7/2

My favorite part of planning a WDW vacation would have to be making ADRs. Since Chris realized that eating is a big part of the trip this time and since our next trip is for his bday, i think he'll even help out this time!

I'm gonna text you tomorrow girl, I'll be workin all day!

Question of the Day...

Today's question comes from wdwgirl03!

What do you look forward to most when planning your trip?

making ADRs! i love planning my days and figuring out where we're gonna eat every day. food at disney is almost as fun as the characters, rides and shows.

by the way, i don't know if i told you or not but i'm thinking i might be in nashville the weekend you guys are passing through and may be able to do the meet at opry mills mall. i'm trying to get up there for father's day weekend. :)

Least favorite ride.

Sounds dangerous lol

Thing I most look forward to when planning.

Making ADRS haha

I missed the last few questions.... but I'm trying to get back on track.

I think I look forward to, as weird as it seems, planning out my days and then switching them all around and making changes. LOLOL Either the DIS has rubbed off on me or I am just a loser!!!!:lmao:

Hey! I know you've been busy!

The DIS is addicting, haha!

Oh poo, I fell behind again.

What is your least favorite ride and why?
Sounds Dangerous...it makes Stitch's Great Escape look good. :scared: Seriously, it is the WORST attraction there. I just thought the plot was boring, and not funny at all. We contemplated leaving during it, but we were stuck in the middle. Sad!

What do you look forward to most when planning your trip?
It's probably booking the airfare. For me, that just solidifies the trip for me. Although, making my trip countdown ticker is quite exhilarating too - not gonna lie. I know, that's strange but I really like posting it on here for some reason. :confused3

My question for you...

What is your favorite dessert at WDW?

Hey! Glad you're back. haha

I haven't done Sounds Dangerous, but when I had it as Attraction of the Day..seems like I won't be doing it!

I love having a countdown ticker too! But sometimes I wonder if anyone looks at it besides me!

My answer to your question: I LOVE the VOLCANO that they bring you at the Luau!

Love the Questions:

What is the one meal you have to do every trip?

Answer: Liberty Tree Tavern, we really love it. We will definately miss Chip & Dale . We also like Breakfast buffets, have to do those, it doesn't matter where because they are all the same to us. :rotfl:

What is my least favorite ride & Why?

Answer: Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, and RRC - I have big drops and upside down rides, it really scares me.

What do you look forward to the mose when planning your trip?

Answer: ADR's, Where to Stay, Planning daily activities and which park, I love it all, except for packing and making sure the house is clean before we leave, it kind of stresses me out.

I have a question:

What makes Disney World Magical for you?

Glad you like the game!

At LTT, we met the most hilarious Goofy ever!

I don't like RnRC either!

I love planning all that stuff too!

My answer to your question: Honestly, I love being there with my family and B/F. It's just nice to get away from real life...making new memories and remembering the old ones from past trips. Plus, I always get goosebumps during things like Wishes, Spectro, and Fantasmic. WDW feels like a second home to me. I feel so comfortable and at ease there.

What celebrity would I take with me to WDW?
Hm....Jackson Rathbone? (Jasper from Twilight). Or, Matthew Gray Gubler, from Criminal Minds. I think he is precious. Or Kenny Chesney. Because, let's face it, what wouldn't be fun about that? I saw him in concert last night, and it was amazing. So now, I've decided that he and I should travel together. Among other things. Clearly, I cannot decide. ;)

Least favorite ride at WDW?
I've never ridden Stitch, mostly because it has a bad rep, so I can't use that one. I'd say...Living with the Land. That is like, a major snooze-fest for me.

What do I look forward to most when planning my Disney trips?
New Disney books, of course! Or choosing a resort. And then changing. Again. And deciding on restaurants.....:confused3 This question is too hard! ;)

A question for you....
What former/closed Disney attraction do you miss the most?

Oooh Kenny Chesney! He puts on good concerts. I'm actually going to see him right before our trip! It'll be my 2nd concert of his I've gone to!

Living with the Land is kinda boring, but interesting!

I love planning all those!

My answer to your question: I REALLY miss the Skyway ride! It was so much fun. Plus, it had the best views!

What is your least favorite ride and why?

I'd say Star tours. I think thats what its called. It's too jerky and bumpy. .I can't get into it.

What do you look forward to most when planning your trip?
I think its the dining. because I spend soo much time planning and choosing them, that by the time they are here.. I can't wait to eat there!

If you could bring any celebrity to WDW with you, who would it be and why?
hmm.. this one is hard. I'll just say Rob Pattinson, because he is a newer celeb and he is sooo funny. So I know we would have fun. hehe ;)

My question- In Epcot, WS- is there a country you spend the most time in?
Ugh, I don't like Star Tours because I hate being closed in!

I love planning ADR's too!

Oooh Rob!

My answer to your question: I'd say Norway just because of Maelstrom.

I love planning ADR's too! It is half the fun of WDW for me too!

Oh you might be there? That's cool! I have to talk to you guys about that...I'm nervous about it...and etc.

Least favorite ride.

Sounds dangerous lol

Thing I most look forward to when planning.

Making ADRS haha

Yeah I'm not doing Sounds Dangerous!!

I'm so glad you started your TR Lynn!

Oh you might be there? That's cool! I have to talk to you guys about that...I'm nervous about it...and etc.

Don't be nervous. We're really very normal. We have jobs and go to church and school and wash dishes and grocery shop and mow lawns...all the things normal people do!

We're just going to meet at the RFC for a hello and a picture. The ones of us that want to can take one loop around the mall to hit the Disney Store and maybe let whoever wants to ride the carousel, and then we'll go our separate ways.

We won't ask your dad to pay for us all to eat or hide in your car so that we go to WDW with you or anything! ;) Just a little old hillbilly hello and a picture by the hippo.

I bet you must be worried about meeting Dawn, because she is pretty wild and crazy, but we'll tame her down for the few minutes we take the picture.

If you decide not to join us, we'll probably still go on with the meet ourselves, and you can hide behind a Rainforest stuffed animal and check us out from a distance. We hope you will come, though, and I promise, there's no life long commitment involved. Just a hello, a picture, and then we'll be on our way around the mall.

And you'll be on your way to DISNEY WORLD!!! :dance3:

Your answer to my question made me tear up :sad1: I too feel the same way. Being with family and all the goosebumps, it is great!

Plus my trip is so close I am losing it, I want to go now but I have to wait 10 days (I think my ticker is off) before we leave. It is just not fair because I am so excited

don't be worried! we're just normal disney fans like you! ;)

I bet you must be worried about meeting Dawn, because she is pretty wild and crazy, but we'll tame her down for the few minutes we take the picture.

this just makes me laugh because i really am the calm, sensible, boring one of all my friends. ray and i have always been like the "parents" when it comes to the people we hang out with that are around our age. i'm always the DD!

Ok I'm jumping in!! This looks so fun great idea :goodvibes

Least favorite ride would have to be Stitch! Just thinking about that corndog smell makes me want to barf!! lol

And when planning, I most look forward to making ADRs!!

So, see, even the wildest one in the bunch is really quite tame.

As a matter of fact, the fake hippo could actually be the wildest thing you meet! :)

Aw, sorry I made you tear up!

Ahhhh 10 days! I have 31 days and I'm going crazy too!

Hearing "Welcome Home" as I drive through the gates at the resort. That's when I feel like I've realy "arrived".

Oh I love when they say that!

don't be worried! we're just normal disney fans like you! ;)

Ugh, luckily I knew about the smell from reading about it on here so I knew to plug my nose!

Haha, thanks MeMom. I was embarassed to say anything. But, I'm thinking it will be fine just saying hi and taking a picture.

I wish you guys could all go to WDW too!

Haha yeah. I forgot about the hippo. I don't remember seeing it. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

Question of the Day...

Today's question comes from lizet313!

If you could add any Resort to WDW, what would be the theme?

YEY that's Two of my questions they must be good.

:dance3::dance3::dance3:

Ok well I know your answer now let me share my answer with you.

If I could add a resort it will be based on Mickey, Minnie and Trains.

Different sections

Mickey through the years w/ a mickey face pool. The Love Mickey and Minnie have w/ a heart shaped pool. Trains because Walt loves trains and I do too picnic area.

It will be very toony (Is that even a word) :rotfl:

I am not sure of the train section it might be alittle more sophisticated but I am not sure lol :rotfl2: Look at me going on and on with my plans ok that is enough.

My question to you will be...

If you can invent a Disney Theme what would it be? (For Example: A year of a million dreams, What would you celebrate?)

1 MONTH 1 DAY

If I could add a resort... hmm... I would build a castle resort! Not Cinderella's castle because that's already in the MK... but maybe like the castle from Snow White or Beauty and the Beast or something? I think a massive castle would be soooo much fun. OH! And the pool could be the moat going all the way around! Or the moat could be a lazy river and there could be other pools. I would have princesses constantly hanging around for autographs, a medieval feast dinner, horse stables with trail rides....

Wow, I could just plan it forever and ever.:rotfl:

I am officially making this my 500th post! Wahoo! Um...well, my first thought was a castle, but since Miss Autumnpalm used that one...I'll have to come up with something else. ;)

I think it would be fun to have an Epcot Resort with representations of the different countries in World Showcase. Sort of how Pop has the 50s building, and the 60s, and the 70s...you could have "France," and "Germany," and "Mexico," etc. I think that would be fun. And they could serve all sorts of yummy food.

A Jungle theme might be fun too....like Rain Forest-y? Not so much Africa, like AKL, and not so Hawaiian like Poly, but more South American - with a Jungle Book theme!! :)

I personally would like a resort reminiscent of Haunted Mansion, but I'm strange like that. Heh. The theming for that would be great, kinda spookyish, but not so much that it freaks people out. Or makes them scream....

Question for you:
What is your standard rainy-day activity at WDW? Since we all know of the sporadic Florida showers.... (ps, I am using this as potential ideas incase we get rain!)
