Attraction of the Day...

Indiana Jones

Okay, no big memories here. We love trying to find the person that gets picked and is part of the show. Oh and...I have to admit, but every time we go do this, I think of the Full House scene when they're there and all D.J. can think about is Steve and she thinks Indy looks like Steve and when he falls in the hole as the big ball is rolling over him, she jumps up and yells "Steve, no!" and every one looks at her.

Exactly what I think of when I hear Indiana Jones.

Do you also remember that in that episode Steve just waltzes in to the Grand Floridian and gets a room without a reservation??? Does that really happen?

OMG I'm so glad someone feels the same way as me. I was afraid I was going to get things thrown at me for saying I didn't like it.

LOL. I probably would have liked it if I went on it when I was a kid. It's just so strange lol!

I love Indiana Jones. It makes me think of Full House when DJ thought Indy was Steve LOL!

Love Lights, motor action stunt show. It's cool! I think it's time to change it up though.

I don't remember that Full House episode (crazy, as I used to watch the show all the time), but how can you miss the person who gets picked every time? He wears that gawd awful shirt!

Oh the next time you see Full House is on, check to see if it's the one from WDW so you can see it. I know, that guy's shirt is horrible!

Gah, Indiana Jones is another attraction I've never done! It's never quite fit into our schedule but we aren't huge IJ fans so we haven't gone out of our way to see it. Is it worth making time for?

Eh, if you're not big IJ fans...then it's probably not a big deal. B/F loves IJ so that's why we go.

ALRIGHT!! Finally! I've done Indian Jones. I was in 7th grade and my contact fell out in the middle of the show. My mom and I spent most of the show looking for it!

OMG, did you find your contact?! My contact fell out when I was younger at WDW too! We were walking out of the MK and it was our last night so I was crying a bit and it fell out. So now every time we walk out of the MK our last night, my sis goes pretends to cry and goes "My contact!"

I've done the Indiana Jones stunt show...but I can't even remember one thing about it

Of course, I DO remember the full house episode though! So funny

Haha, isn't that episode hilarious?!

As I said in the last post- I haven't done this yet- but I do planned to. I was thinking of just letting my DH choose.. but the thought of HIM being picked REALLY makes me want to do this one! hehe

In order to get picked, you gotta be closer to the stage and you gotta jump up and down and be really loud and get their attention!

Oh my gosh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks of Full House when we're there. Haha, the GF scene is the best, when Steve and DJ see each other and go running to each other and Steve trips and falls. And the piano in the GF lobby when Uncle Jesse sings to Aunt Becky. I always have to point that out too.

LOL. I probably would have liked it if I went on it when I was a kid. It's just so strange lol!

the only memory i have from indiana jones is when ray and i were there in april last year. we got to the show just before it started and instead of disturbing everyone by trying to find a seat, we decided to stand in the back. well, there was a lady sitting on the wall behind us and about 5 minutes into the show she started talking on her cell phone so loudly that i couldn't even hear what was being said on stage. so i turned around and took a picture of her.

I went to the States yesterday and I went to Famous Footwear and the girl looked at me crazy and said we have never had those sandals.....

They are even on thier website.

So, no Dr.Scholls for me.

I did get alot of new clothes....

Never seen Lights, motors action. Maybe this trip I'll catch it.

Attraction of the Day...

Kali River Rapids

OMG, great story for this one!

So, as I've said before, back in 2001, both sets of my grandparents and my uncle came with us to WDW over Christmas. Well, we talked everyone into going on the Kali River Rapids with us while we were at AK! So, we're going down one of the big drops and I'm on the side where I'm facing forward and across from me was my grandpa and my dad, who were going backwards down the drop. As we hit the bottom, a HUGE wave comes up and goes over my grandpa. You couldn't even see him! He's the grandpa who doesn't like those kind of things. Oops. Once we got back to the loading dock, there was hardly anyone in line so they said we could stay on for a second time. That grandpa and grandma decided they had enough and were getting off now!

My weekend was crazy busy. Friday when we got back home, me and the B/F picked up the little guy from "school". He was so excited. It was so nice out, so once we got back to his house, we played outside forever. Then, we went out to eat with my parents, sis, and grandparents.

Saturday, went out to lunch with sis, then target, then went over and played with the little guy forever. We taught him a new knock-knock joke so now he has to say it all the time. Then, B/F and I went out to eat at Ruby Tuesday's.

Sunday, had to go to B/F's cousin's birthday party. Then came up here. Woo, right?! Oh and while we were driving, the little guy had to call me and tell me his knock knock joke again. LOL.

Oh man...no idea. Maybe they are trying to make a move on Mickey! Watch out Minnie! haha jk

Figment ~ I know this ride is a bore to most but I still like it. Reminds me of the orignal Epcot...the 80's Epcot. We usually hit once a visit.

LMA ~ I've only done this show once. It was okay. Little cars that sound like bees do nothing at all for me, except make me laugh. I do need to go again. It's been a couple of years.

KRR ~ I usually sit that one out. I always end up holding the camera and phones. I like it though. Splash Mountain is more fun for me!

Has Figment always been the same?

LMA needs to revamp their show. It's the same thing every single time.

I haven't been on KRR in a few years. I just have grown out of liking those kinds of rides. So I'd be with you holding the camera and phones! We could stand on the bridge and squirt people with that button they have. It's fun. You should try it.

Oh good you found them! In one of them, I was 3 and the other one I was 4. I know I didn't look exactly like Juliana, but she reminded me of myself.
