Hey all, please take a look at our itinerary and let me know what you think!
Any better idea's or tips, please let me know. The general idea is that when doing the disney parks, we'll do the EMH park first thing and then hop over to a quieter park in the afternoon, with possibly a break depending on how we feel.

We will be there monday, sept 6th to monday, sept 20th. Going will be myself (21 over there), DBF (24), DM (45), DSF (55), DB (16) and DB (8). My DM and DSF will probably not do EMH and meet us in the afternoon on these days, and we'll take the boys with us.

Before i start, I know this plan looks very hectic, but as far as we're concerned, we can rest when we get back home and if anyone is tired they can go back for a rest. It is flexible.

By the way, we don't have a car, so if we're at on I Drive, we're staying there all day. It's not possible to go backwards and forwards and i want to try and eat as much as poss on I Drive as it would be cheaper than Disney.

Mon 6th
Day = Flying from UK. Arrive approx 5.30pm.
Eve = Settle in and look round hotel, (AKL). DTD for dinner and possibly an hour or two in DQ. Depends how tired we are.

Tues 7th (long day)
Day = Brekkie on I Drive. Spend day at Islands Of Adventure.
Eve = Dinner on I Drive, (I'm leaning towards Bahama Breeze), maybe a quick look around Pointe Orlando after.

Wed 8th
AM = EMH at Epcot, probably leave around 11am, and meet up with parents.
PM = Magic Kingdom.
Share a Dream Come True at 3.00pm. Go to Comtemporary early evening, dinner at Chef Mickeys and back in time for Spectro @ 8.30 and Wishes @ 9.30.

Thurs 9th (rest day)
Day = Spend most, if not all day at Blizzard Beach.
Eve = DTD and DQ

Fri 10th (MY 21ST BIRTHDAY)
AM = EMH at Animal Kingdom (only a 1/2 day park for us)
PM = Hotel Pool
Eve = Early dinner at Boardwalk followed by illuminations cruise. I'm thinking maybe Jellyroll's after (and i'll be able to have a drink) (i was shocked last birthday, I completely forgot about the 21 age thing in the USA), unless anyone came recommend somewhere else. Wheres a good place for dinner at the boardwalk without breaking the bank? Mum and boys will prob go back to hotel straight after cruise.

Sat 11th
Day = Discovery Cove - this is not booked yet, i put it there so there was a free day if i decided that i wanted to do it, i could fit it in. I've more or less convinced myself it is worth the $ (and it is my birthday holiday). This will be just me and DBF. Mum and the boys will probably have a day off. (they'll be exhausted)
EVE = Old Town @ Kissimee

Sun 12th (shopping day)
AM = Breakfast on I Drive and then up to Belz.
PM = Maybe make a start on premium outlets.
Eve = Dinner on I Drive if we're still round that area.

Mon 13th
Day = Seaworld
Eve = Dinner at the Boardwalk?

Tues 14th
AM = EMH at MGM
PM = Water Park or Hotel Pool for a couple of hours
Eve = Thinking maybe dinner at Ohana's around 8ish, (Wishes @ 9)

Wed 15th
AM = Character breakfast (Recommendations?) and maybe mouseboats.
PM = MGM
Eve = Fantasmic dinner package. I'm thinking Hollywood and Vine.

Thurs 16th
Day = Typhoon Lagoon
Eve = Dinner @ Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Fri 17th
Day = Universal Studios
Eve = Dinner at Citywalk (Recommendations?)

Sat 18th (shopping day)
AM = Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores - never been, any good? is there a bus to these?
PM = Premium Outlets
Eve = Dinner on I Drive area

Sun 19th
AM = EMH at Magic Kingdom
PM = Epcot (WS)
Eve = Dinner at Epcot WS

Mon 20th
AM = revisit any parks and poss an hour in the pool.
PM = Fly home late afternoon.

Any tips, recommendations and opinions greatly appreciated!
Booked this over a year and a half ago and can't believe it's only 11 days to go.

Looks pretty good to me. One thing you might want to consider is staying onsite at Universal for 1 night. That way you could check in early,hit one of the parks--using FOTL access with your room key, stay in a great room onsite then hit the other park the next day. You can still use your room key for FOLT on the day you check out.
As for places to eat we must always got to Hard Rock Cafe, my teens wont let us pass it up, lol. We have also eaten at Nascar-- also very good and Pastamore (also good).
I think Discovery Cove is a great idea!! Been dying to go there myself.

looks good.
While at IOA, I would suggest dinner at Mythos - it's nice, quiet, and unique.

I see a couple of times you're planning dinner at Boardwalk. I suggest instead making a reservation at EPCOT. There's a wider variety and it's only a short walk further.

Your birthday- Have you thought about The Garden Grille (The Land in EPCOT). It's a character meal with a flat rate family style menu. But it's fairly cheap (by Disney standards) and you're right in EPCOT for the show.

For you character breakfast I would suggest Ohana (Poly-Family Style) or Cape May Cafe (Beach Club-Buffet). Both of these are near a marina, whre you can rent mouse boats (I would think the marina near Poly would be better).

I was also going to recommend the Poly character meal, then mouse boats at their marina. A lovely beach area, too.

Only thing I noticed was early on, you planned to maybe do DQ for an hour or two. That'll cost a lot, for just an hour, won't it?

Anyway, have fun and Happy Birthday (oh, to be 21 again!)

I hope you have a fab time and a safe vacation! One thing I noticed was that you intend to be in SW and the Boardwalk in the same day. Just me, but on SW day, I personally would stay away from Dis. Esp w/ out a car.

I know what you mean, but we've got ultimate park hoppers, so it's included.

Don't fry me! I booked it a year and a half ago, and had i researched it properly, i wouldn't have got the UPH's, but i was in a rush to book before my mum changed her mind, cause my stepdad was on holiday (and didn't want to go), so we booked it before he got back, and gave him no choice!:eek:
