This was not our first WDW trip, but it was our first on site stay (CSR), our 1st CP and MVMCP!

Saturday we had a PS for Kona Cafe for breakfast. We just missed the MK bus and had to wait about 17min for the next one. Encountered that "elephant house" smell on the monorail. At Kona I tried the "Tonga Toast" and it was good, but too thick of breading for my taste. I accidently left our insulated water bottle there. We walked back from the Poly to TTC and took the Monorail to Epcot. My DH headed to test track to get a FP while I went to GS for our CP passes and to report our lost water bottle. You actually pick up the passes near the American section inside the park or at GS outside the park. The CM was not real helpful in writting out the missing Item report. Our FP were only about 30min away so we went to Ice station Cool for a quick drink! Still like the ginger ale and watermellon best! We got a 2nd FP just as our first FP time started and it was about 1h30min away! The ride broke down as we were waiting in the FP line and it took us about 25min to get to the ride. It went off without a stop!

We then went over to the Land for a quick lunch bite and to the boat ride. The ceasar chicken salad was just so-so. The kids chicken fingers were quite good. After the boat ride we went back to TT. Ride was working and the FP's let us right into the preshow. After that my DH need some cool down time and he went back to CSR to get our video camera while the DS's and I went to the Canada area and Bob's BeaverTails for the mini meet. I spied the some of the DIS CON Lime green laynards and headed over. I did not get any DIS CON merchandise and all I had on was my little hand made ribbon. I had to introduce myself, and did meet a couple of other folks, but they seemed more interested in talking to each other than a "lurker"!

After my strawberry beaver tail (good but very messy!) we went over to the boat ride at Mexico. The MM pin went "crazy" during the Fireworks portion of the ride! We went on to the American area to watch TOD and to pick up our CP badges. It was a nice addition of the bells and chimes the dancers carried. Afterward we saw the American Fife and Drum perform. The DS's loved singing the patriotic songs they learned in school. We met a retired couple that was sitting next to us. He had been a firefighter and had a memorial shirt on. His son and grandson were also, making it 3 generations! We went to Norway to the Malestrom and then to Le Cellier for our CP dinner. I saw several other DIS Con'ers there and again, not much interest in a lurker! Oh well, I was there with my family and that is what was most important! The steak we had was good, but the kid's didn't like their dinner and it was just too much to try to cram in appetizer and desert when you just are not real hungry! I did save the rest of our food in foil and took it with us!

Off to the CP line! We ended up in the second section but the seats were still great! Robbie Benson did a great job and it was a joy to hear all the wonderful choirs! I reminded my DH that I got a 15% discount he wanted a Sorcerer's hat. DH staked out a place to watch Illuminations while I went on my mini shopping trip. I was walking to the front of World showcase when he "paged" me with the walkie talkies. A "drunk" man had just spilled a half of a glass of red wine on my son's back! After cleaning him up, I headed back to the world showcase entrance where the two large gift shops are. Got the hat, some "santa mickey" antenna bobbers, a Christmas Castle figurine. I finished just as Illuminations finished but still made it onto the next boat over to Boardwalk to catch the bus back to CSR. We hit the hot tub (still 65 degrees at 11pm!) and enjoyed that for about 30min prior to hitting the hay! I soaked my son's wine stained shirt in the sink over nite in hopes it would come out!

Sunday we slept in. I had packed the leftovers in the ice bucket (no frige) and a 'meat and crackers" breakfast with chips and salsa! (BURP! Breakfast of champions!) I bought a box of the Clorox 2 from the laundry center to try to further lighten the wine stain of the shirt. Left it soaking. We got over to MK about 12:30 pm. We had had a PS at Cindy's for lunch but canceled it. We did Buzz while my DH got FP for SM. Then we had lunch at the Cosmic Cafe. Had the family chicken dinner with fries instead of mashed potatos. Was very tasty! I went to video the snowglobe parade but was at the train station end so I was at the Ending line for that day. Waited about 1h and 20min and finally got to see it. (DH and DS's were off riding rides!)

After that went Back to Kona Cafe at the Poly to retrive our water bottle. I came back to the MK entrance and they were directing folks that had passes to the MVMCP to the right side of the queues. They let me in at 4pm with my MVMCP! Got a red wristband. Took our sweatshirts out of the locker and headed off to meet the family in the Liberty square section. We saw Hall of Presidents (very nice with GW!) at 4pm and noticed CM standing out in front LTT. Our PS was at 6pm and we were told they would not be open prior to then. I asked the CM if they were open and they said "yes" but it was a last minute decision. I went back to the locker to get the video camera (forgot it before, duh!) and checked into LTT by 5:45. We had a nice meal but my DS thought the mac and cheese sauce tasted like mashed potatos (and DH agreed!) The food was good but I don't know if I would do it again.

We got in line to take the pics and were 1st in line but DH informs me that one of the sweatshirts is missing! I sent him back to the locker to check and it wasn't there. I had the clothing in two smaller bags and exchanged for a med then larger size bag at a shop on Main street and it must have gotten lost there! We took the pic anyway but it put me behind on my commando "see all the shows in one night" mission. I made my way back to City Hall the Corn photo, but only about 25 or so folks there. Stopped by the Emporium to purchase the MVMCP shirt and pin. Went to the 8:05 Polar Express storytelling. Was trying to make the 8:45 Diamond Horseshoe show but got stuck on the Wrong side of the parade! We missed it but I went on to see the fire works and the Castle show! It was a very good variety type show! My DH made it to DHS at 9:30 to secure a good seat for the 10pm show. It was very funny! My DS's was celebrating a belated disney BD and the host CM had the whole place sing HBD to him! My other DS had the same treatment for his summer BD! Off to catch the 2nd parade. Got a good spot at the end of Main Street. After that went to the "twas the night before christmas" at 11:10pm. It was cute but has some similar scenes to the castle show. So the only show I missed was Belle's! We caught some more hot chocolate and cookies (the drink was good...Nestle's perhaps?" but my arm got bumped and I had HC stains on my lime green Pooh/Tigger shirt! Sent it to soak in Clorox 2!

We had late check out Monday morning. While my DH and DS's enjoyed the pool I went over to MK Lost and Found but no sweatshirt! Even went into the park and found it was the main street Cinema that I had exchanged the bags at! Got back in time to pack up and as I was taking the clothes out of the larger bag to pack...out comes the missing shirt! Argh! Missed out on pool! We stored the luggage after our 1pm check out and ate lunch at the Peppermill. It was good but not that great! We headed over to DQ for a couple of hours before our late plane depature. Took us over 50 min by bus! We only got to spend about 1 & 1/2 hrs prior to the need to return to CSR. Tiffany's was called at 4pm to be there at 5pm. When we got to the porter station the CM there said Tiffany's had been there at 3pm waiting for us!!! Not too sure I would use them again! They did pick us up and got us to MCO in plenty of time to make the plane back to ATL!!

I enjoyed our short trip and our CSR stay, but I think I still prefer the size and king size bed at the Hilton Grand Vacation club! I can get a 1br condo for the same price as my AP moderate rate. On Average it took 20-30min to get from resort to parks, the same time as it did on our July trip when driving. Although a 1h 30m plane flight beats an 8hr drive! We will be at a convention at CSR next October and will get to enjoy it again!
