this is when I realized something :scared1: went to get some cash out of the ATM and couldn't remember by PIN # for the life of me :confused3 ....never did remember it, had to go to the bank when we got home :lmao:

so after a long day of travelling through the wilds of africa, HI and DTD we called it a day....got on the bus and were home about 9!

next update will be our 2nd EP day!

Awesome update! Great to see the tour up close! How was that food? I noticed you said jungle juice yum, but there was no review on the food other than what it was. Does that mean it wasn't that tasty? Even with a monkey tail, you are very brave to conquer those bridges! Love your shirts!

oops, went back and added more details..... well Megan liked certain things and I liked certain things so we shared!
the food was good, I preferred the dried meats and Megan preferred the salmon, she didn't like the date bar...it was more of a large snack, but did the trick of filling us up!

if you are afraid of heights you wouldn't want to go on it, there were quite a few big steps you had to take to get from one board to another on the bridge so you had to really watch were you put your feet!

Totally love your review of the Jungle Trek. We loved it too!! Love the picture of Megan with the binoculars, and also love the hippo and the baby elephant. So glad you had a good time, and of course love the shirts :thumbsup2

Fabulous update!!! Your pix are just great of the animals, and it really looks like a fun and really quality tour they offer there.

4 times on EE would make my neck NOT happy; but I would if I could!!! Stupid neck of mine. :headache:

I liked 'Ohana too! But like you say, WAY too much food!

DTD is my first memory of WDW, so it always holds a special place in my heart. Isn't it great walking around there??

WOW What a FUN filled day - and I mean FILLED!!!! lol....I love the Lion King Show too!! and EE is fun too!!!

Another awesome day to celebrate Megan's birthday! Loved all your wonderful pictures on your Wild African Trek! I'm glad that they hook you up to the cable when you went over that bridge. Lunch looks yummy too! I've never tried riding Everest. Love the Lion King show too. Great day over all!

I KNEW you were going to post an update today (it IS Monday)! :thumbsup2 I absolutely LOVE the African Safari Trek, I would like everything but trying to cross that bridge, I think I would get dizzy! What an amazing and up close and personal experience! LOVE IT!!! Also love the Festival of the Lion King, GREAT show! My brood (minus Lisa who can't ride d/t her heart) would LOVE all the rides on EE! :yay::yay: Megan looks beautiful and you both look gorgeous in your safari shirts, what an awesome job! Also LOVED the peace shirt, so cute. OHana looked fun the entire time, was just amazing and I just realize I never commented on the flags from the other day, what an awesome idea...I am SO far behind on everyone's TR, it is all I can do some days to read. Thanks for being there for so many with warm, kind heartfelt words! :flower3:

:scared1: WOW That bridge is SCARY. It looks like something out of Indiana Jones & the Temple of DOOM:scared1:

What a wonderful day you had. I can't believe you were able to ride MtEverst 4 times.

the trek really is worth the $$$...plus you get a free CD that you can add all your photopass pics to!
if Megan had her way, we would of done EE 4 more times...but my neck was getting sore!
O'hanas, was good, not something I think we would do again though...sorry O'hana lovers
DTD is always fun...a great place to people watch and window shop!

yes it was a fun filled day! but not our longest day....

I wouldn't of been able to go over the bridges either, not afraid of heights, its just a bit disconcerting though!
oh, you MUST ride EE....its the best coaster!

Wow Lisa!! That day looked great! So glad they were able to get you in the Trek!!!!

you and me both....would not of had a happy mama here if they hadn't!!!

you know me too well :lmao: you'd be okay on the bridges, it's only about 20 feet up I think!
the shirts are cute aren't they!
hopefully they can ride EE when you go in October!
you know I'm always here for you

What a wonderful day you had. I can't believe you were able to ride MtEverst 4 times.

it looks worse than it is when you start crossing over!

the funny thing is that the same CM was there and recognized us each time...she would of given us more FP's if she had any (the FP machine was empty by our 3rd ride)

you know me too well :lmao: you'd be okay on the bridges, it's only about 20 feet up I think!
The height would be fine, it would be the swinging, swaying, rickety appearance! Made me  looking at it. :lmao::lmao::lmao:
the shirts are cute aren't they!
LOVED them, and I love how you matched!:love:
hopefully they can ride EE when you go in October!

I hope so, I have NO idea how we will fit it all in AND enjoy GKTW...we shall see...:love::love: love the Pixie Dust of riding EE so many times!

you know I'm always here for you

Thank you! Right back at you!!! :grouphug::grouphug:

it looks worse than it is when you start crossing over!

I will take your word for it!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I will take your word for it!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: [/COLOR]

the bridge really didn't sway very much...its all on steel cables, your hooked in ad there is netting all around the sides and bottom so you can't fall thru!

I hope you get to go to AK! we love it and if you plan well you can see everything in a day...our top picks: EE, Lion King show, Nemo Show, safari and the parade, which sadly we missed on both days...its my favorite parade at WDW!

Lisa, what an awesome update and WHAT a special safari ride. The pictures are great and you and your daughter look like you are thoroughly enjoying yourself. Festival of the Lion King is now a new favorite -- after finally seeing it for the first time last year.

Lisa--it looks like you had an amazing day! The WAT looks fantastic :thumbsup2 Megan looks like she is having a fantastic time on her very special trip :) I would love to be able to get that close to the animals, but, I'm not so sure about that bridge :scared1: Jammin' Jungle is my favorite parade too and we missed it on our last trip (even though we spent almost 2 full days in AK). Maybe I'll need to try and concinve Rachel that she wants to go to WDW instead of DLR for her senior trip :goodvibes

A great update! Yay on riding EE 4 times and seeing Goofy!

I'm glad you managed to get on the tour after all the mix up! It looks like you had a great time.

Lovely pics of FOTLK - can't wait to see that show :)

WOw I love AK... and that trek looked like so much fun! I didn't make it onto Everest which is something I wanted to ride, but it broke down with my DH and DS at the top! and so I didn't get a chance :( Glad that was so much fun!

What an awesome adventure for you and Megan. Nice to be able to take the time to just be together having fun! Doesn't happen often enough at our house. Can't wait to see more!

Your first AK day with a visit to HI for dinner then DTW thrown in was like a trip around the world in one day!

Oh, the Wild Africa Trek looks awesome! My husband said we'll have to take our grandson on it when we take him to WDW. I see that the minimum age is 8 and there appears to be one girl on your trek who is younger and shorter than Megan. Did you notice if that girl was able to handle the bridges OK? Jason is average height for his age and unless that changes in the next 2 years I can't imagine him being able to handle some of those big gaps between boards. And by the time he is 8 (he'll be 6 the end of June) I wonder if I'll be able to handle the bridges :rotfl:

I just love FOTLK too. It is my favorite show at WDW. And the AK parade is my favorite parade. The Christmas version of it is even more spectacular.

Sounds like you had an amazing day in Animal Kingdom. Lovin the custom made t-shirts.
