Our girlie summer Vegas get-away (over and done with)

Me either!! :cool1:  :yay:
I just might have to cut back on some meals and such, but not Chippendales!! I'll go beg on the street for money before I miss them. ;)

you made me laugh! I have never seen Chippendales, can you believe that?? Neither has my daughter, I wonder if she would get a kick out of it? She goes to UNLV, she's in college.

Beth, I would not let you skip Chippendales, I'll pay before that happens. cheshirecatsbaby you and your daughter should join us, james and jace are already taken though. i'm just saying. :rolleyes1

Well the pic is blurry, but it's better then no pic right? This is with my phone.

You should see it!! I love their show, and have seen it.....uh, a few times. :rolleyes1
It's really good. Not raunchy or anything. I mean, it does show skin, let's be real, but it's nothing too bad.
I went with my sister-in-law in December and she was so nervous because she'd never been to anything like that. And she's very shy, and conservative. But she loved the music, loved the dancing and had a great time.

If you ever decide to take her, locals get in for $25 Sun-Thurs. instead of the usual $50. Just show your ID at the Rio box office when you go to buy the tickets. :thumbsup2

LOL Friends don't let friends skip Chippendales. Is that our new slogan? :rotfl:
Don't forget Juan is taken too. ;)

Thanks for the pic!! I love it. I like the design. It's different. When is he doing the tattoo on your finger? After the ceremony I guess.

I'm still hoping to be able to throw you a bachelorette party here in June. I bought these fun cards that are like lotto scratchers, along with a few other things. http://www.partycity.com/product/sp...eyword=bachelorette&sortby=priceAscend&page=1
I think they would be fun!

Marcie~ Love ring, it came in blurry on my phone.

ummm...So I have forgotten who is shacking up with who on this trip?

I need a shackup buddy or 4 :rotfl2:

Marcie, your ring is gorgeous! I'm so happy and excited for you. :goodvibes

I am not sure, but so far I think Linda and Cheryl are roomies at Mirage. Patty and Angie are roomies, but I don't know where. Wendy isn't 100% sure she's coming, but if she does I think she's using her free room at Harahs. Theresa is also at Harrahs. Marcie is at Harrahs too but I can't remember if she's with Theresa or Marcie. And I don't think Stacie knows where she's rooming yet either.

All I know is one night or possibly two, I'll be crashing in someones room. Don't care who, but I'm just putting out that warning now. :rolleyes1 Jane will probably want to crash one night somewhere too.

Is it June yet???? I can't wait for a spa day in Vegas :woohoo:
No spa days for me, BUT I am still super duper excited for this meet!!!! :woohoo: :yay:  :cool1:

Been drinking, Betty???? Marcie is rooming with me :thumbsup2 We have our room and I know Linda and Cheryl have their room too. I don't think anyone else has booked anything - either Harrah's or Mirage.

...... and you know that you and Jane are more than welcome to crash in my room ;-)

Yes, Marcie is definitely rooming with Marcie. :rolleyes1;):lmao:

I don't think I ever commented on those scratch off tickets, but what a fun idea. You know I'm always up for a good dare.

Gary and his friend and I were talking about Vegas earlier and I got city sick :confused3 I can't wait to be back

I really like your ring Marcie! I've never seen that design, it's very unique!

Sounds like Chippendales is a lot of fun!!
Can't wait!

:lmao: The scary thing is, I make mistakes like that totally sober. Imagine me drunk?!?!? :scared1:

I think a good dare or two will be a ton of fun! :cool1:

Me and Elvis hanging out on Saturday night. ;)

We walked around the new City Center shops and Aria. It was just okay. The stores are so high-end I cannot even pronounce some of them. :rotfl: And most of them were empty with just some sales staff sitting there bored out of their mind. I don't know who they think will shop there. Maybe tourists from over seas. :confused3

The Aria hotel was nice. Nothing spectacular. I like something with a theme like TI or the Venetian. Or a big attraction like the Bellagio and their fountains.

It's the sort of place you walk around once just to say you've been, and then you really don't ever need to go back. It would be nice if some of you saw Viva Elvis so you can post a review. One local paper said it was being reviewed as "confusing and dull at moments". Not a good sign for such an expensive show.....

Cute dress Marcie. I like the satin. It adds class to a simple yet elegant dress. How exciting for you!:lovestruc

Love the pics Beth. I want to do one "expensive" show and was thinking either the Elvis Cirque or Barry Manilow at Paris. Well, the decent seats at Barry are almost $200 and now it's sounding like Elvis isn't that good. Don't want to spend quite that much for a show - I was thinking $100-$125ish. I guess we'll wait and see what goes on special or what local deals they have as the date draws nearer.

I hope we (as a group) keep Divas and Carrot Top (or a similar comedy show). I really want to see them both.;) How did you like the comedy show you saw this weekend, Beth?
