Hello! We have just returned from our 6 night stay at WDW, followed by 4 night DCL! Needless to say my DH and I have added a few LBS....here's where and what! (I forget some of the apps and desserts, but I will mention them if I remember!)

Monday-
Breakfast at Restaurnantatorus (my spelling of this changes often!) . We loved it, although I read a few rants about it here from time to time. They have a good buffet, the servers crack me up and the atmosphere is fun! Plus, there is the Donald and Pluto...my faves. I think people complain about the wait in line despite having PS. I think that 1. You're at WDW, expect lines and 2. Considering it is the only real sit down breakfast at AK, it will be popular!
Dinner at Jiko. What a beautiful place. We had the bacon/onion flat bread for an app and something else:confused: For our entrees I had the monkfish, which I had loved. The woman at the table next to us felt hers was under cooked, but I loved mine. My DH had the filet w/ Macaroni and Cheese, and he too loved his. He said it was the second best beef he had on this trip. I had Walts apple crumble dessert which was very good.

Tuesday-
Breakfast at Tony's Character Breakfast. Nothing can replace the Crystal Palace. The preplated all you care to eat was decent, but you simply didn't have the choices of a yummy buffet. But, Pooh and friends were there, so all was well!
Dinner at Artist's Point at WL. We enjoyed the entire atmosphere of both the lodge and the resuarant. I had mussles for an app, the best I've had to memory and my DH had the venision medallions. He loved them. For entrees, I had the cedar plank salmon and my DH had the buffalo. We were both SO PLEASED! It was delicious. Dessert for me was sorbert and my DH I believe had creme brulee. Plainly wonderful dinner. (Piko, I believe that was her name was our server! What a sweetie!)

Wed-
Dinner at Fulton's Crab House. It is always so loud in that place! Apps were crabcakes and lobster bisque. The cakes were wonderful, the bisque so-so. Dinner for my DH was king crab claws and steak. What a man;) , while I had the seared tuna. He just adored his meal, while although mine was good, I have had better cuts of tuna before, but it was still quite good! Dessert was peanut butter cheese cake and a very rich chocolate cake. Yummy!

Thurs-
Breakfast at Boma. It was good, however I think I was expecting something special b/c I hear so much about it. It did have some unusual offerings, and the juice was yummy, but just like any other breakfast buffet! I did try a type of grain that was made into a hot "oatmeal type" offering which was very good!
Dinner at Coral Reef. Our favorite. Apps were scallops and lobster ravioli. Entrees were the lobster and steak for my DH (surprised?) and I had the Mahi Mahi. It was wonderful. It was served w/ wasabi mashed pototoes which were heavenly! Dessert was the famous chocolate wave. Our waiter, Steven, was the same one we had last year! He's great!

Friday-
50's PTC for lunch. Nothing to rave about. We had had the best time there last year, but this year our waiter was a DUD! Plus, it wasn't crowded enough for much excitement. The food was average, not worth commenting on. I'm sure we'll try it again next time though.
Dinner was supposed to be at the HBD, however, my DH really wanted to eat at the Morroco in Epcot. So we headed over to Marakesh for dinner. The atmosphere was interesting, but boring almost. The food was not quite what we were looking for, in fact, I simply didn't care for mine, which was a seafood platter w/ shrimp, salmon and an egg roll style side (that was quite good however.) My DH had the "Night in Casablanca" (I think that is what is was called), and although he ate most of it, he didn't care for it much. At least we tried it!

Lastly, Saturday.
Our breakfast consisted of the many tasty treats found in the World Showcase for the food and wine fest. We decided to have lunch at Tempura Kiku. Wonderful food. I had the sushi platter and my DH had the seafood tempura. It would have been perfect had we not had to sit next to 3 very drunk, obnoxoius rude people. I was half waiting for them to be escorted out! After snacking more at the festival, we headed over to Le Chefs De France for dinner. The atmosphere itself was the most appealing of almost all we've dined at. I loved the almost cheery feeling and our perfect window seat to people watch. Plus, our server Jeremy was very easy on the eyes! (don't tell me DH!);) For an app we had the onion flatbread and escargot. They were both wonderful...my DH actually ate 2 escorgot, his first time ever! My DH had lamb for his entree, which he enjoyed. I had the seared tuna, which I really didn't care for at all. The cut was stringy and rough, and was tough to even get a knive through! I'm not one to complain, so I ate the edges and saved room for dessert. I had chocolate cake, and although I am not positive, I belive my DH had creme brulee.

All in all, we tried some different things and also stuck with some favorites! The best recommendation we could give would be the Coral Reef for dinner. Breakfast would be a tie between Restaruantarous or Boma....Enjoy!

Thanks so much for the reviews. You had a lot of really great meals. We plan on dining at quite a few of the same places in December.

Thanks for the reviews, it sounds like we have similar tastes! The oatmeal stuff at Boma was probably quinoa (pronounced keen-wah). It's very high in protein and good for you. I had it the last time we ate at Boma. You could top it with brown sugar mixed with toasted quinoa. I had to ask our server what it was, because the toasted quinoa looked just like bird seed!

two-foxes- I haven't seen lobster raviolli on th emenu at the Coral Reef. Was it a special or a new addition? We will be trying it for the first time in Nov, but we are going for lunch.

Ooops...I checked the menu (I "aquired" one while we were waiting) and it is "seafood medley open face ravioli - creamy clam sauce" It was quite good! I don't know if the lunch menu varies much from the dinner menu, but it was the best overall meal we had!

two-foxes, thanks for your great reviews. I'm glad to read that you enjoyed Coral Reef. I have been reading a lot of so-so reviews about it and am getting a bit nervous. However, I have my heart set on eating there. I hope we have a great experience like you did.

Enjoyed your reviews very much. Thanks for posting!

Great reviews! Thanks! We will be trying Jiko and Artist poit on our next stay.
