Our first World Christmas~ PTR!!

Hello everyone!!! This is my first PTR ever. So hang in there...i'm sure to get the hang of it!! I hope!!

Anywho! Not really sure where to start.....maybe with the list of characters.



Sam (29)~ that's me. Fairly new to the love of everything Disney!! Who knew that when i meet my hubby..i would turn into this Disney loving person! I'm at stay at home mom to a 3 year old little boy!! And the planner(of course).

John (DH-28)~ was raised on Disney. Had annual passes to Disneyland growing up. And a mom who loves everything Disney. One year he and his brother dressed up as a popcorn box and churro from Disney.

Carl (DS-3)~ loves Dianeyland to pieces. Ask if we can go everyday(we are annual pass holders)! Loves Mickey and the gang. He can name that ride from the song. (even if he has never been on it!) Just now is tall enough to ride soaring and star tours. And the are now must do's everytime we go!

Norma (DMIL)~ if it wasn't for her...there would be no love of Disney. So thank you to her!! Loves ANYTHING Disney!! Her first trip to the World was with us...in January!! And can't wait to go back! She is a great mother in law! Couldn't ask for a better one. And grandma!!

Well we already know the who. But now the plans.


Dates: We will be in Disneyworld from Dec 3rd-12th. But we leave home Dec 2nd with a red eye flight. We are always tired of arriving so late from the direct flights, that we are giving the red eye a shot!! We are flying JetBlue.My hubby won't fly any other way!!

Where: well the POP century of course!! This is our 3rd trip and our 3rd stay at POP. We wised up this time and decided to pay for preffered!! We ended up in the 90's with our 2 last trips and swore to not let that happen again!! We were going to try some place new, but...we just couldn't part with POP.It's like having a warm blanket on a cold day(we get those every once in while in So Cali), it's comfy!! And we know our way around!!

Why: well the why is the hard part of the trip for me. This trip was never in the plans...seeing as though we were just there in Jan. No way could we afford it. However seeing as though life is just full of curveballs, I struck out! In the begging of July, my mom decided to have knee surgery. All she wanted to do was be able to play and do stuff with DS without being in pain. So she had the surgery on July 17th and on July 19th she passed away due to blood clots in her leg and lungs. She was my best friend. It's been hard to adjust to, but i am dealing with it. As I was calling and doing all the stuff needing to be done, I was informed that i was a co-benefiecary(sp) of her yearly salary! Total shock to me. So when i relized that i could pay off my bills and still afford a trip to world, I talked it over with the hubby. See Christmas was my mom's favorite time of the year. She always went crazy with decorations and everything else. So we decided that christmas was the time to go. It's what she would have wanted me to do. She knew my love for Disneyworld. Saw how my eyes light up everytime we came back from a trip. And so it was set..... well almost. More to come later....

So last time I left off, I was telling you why we we are going. So I emailed my TA and got free dining. Had my MIL put the deposit down because I had not recieved my money yet. We had our dates, now time to decided what we would be eating. Since we upgraded our dining to deluxe this time, we had a lot of choices to make. And I wanted a final idea by the time I had to make my ADRS. And that was only 30 days away....


Well when the day came for me to wake up before the rest of the world(west coaster here!! Up at 2:30am), I got everything we wanted within 10-15 mins of the times we wanted!! I was uber excited. Our adrs's were set and we are not playing around with them. I told my hubby the rules. Then 2 weeks ago, I ordered our MVMCP for Dec 6th and Pirates and Pals Firework Voyage for Dec 5th. I though that we would be able to eat at CA Grill and still be able to go on the voyage. Ended up canceling PPFV. We always have next time.

So here are our dining plans...

Well...let's see, i only have 29 days till I am officially on vacation!!! I'm so excited!! I pass the time by going to Disneyland. We will be there the next 2 weekends. This weekend they are bringing Remember Dreams Come True fireworks back and then the following weekend will start the Christmas fireworks. Can't wait!!

I bought the whole family some new crocs for our vacation!! My son can't help but want to wear his. He is 3 and what 3 year old wouldn't want to wear his brand new buzz crocs now!!

So I'm hoping that this month goes by quickly... I can't wait for christmas!! Or my vacation. we are already talking about putting up our christmas decorations..
