Our first trip to Disney at Christmas - the plan so far

Nice shirts and such. I made it to a disney outlet this weekend and bought some pins on sale for 1.99, I made a started lanyard for DD and I (she is only 6 and gets tired of wearing it!), so we can start trading. Since I got them so cheap, I dont mind trading them for something else. I can wait for December!! I have to decide what kind of clothing we are taking. We live in South Texas, so when it is a little cool we are COLD!! But also dont want to overpack.. hmm decisions, decisions!!

Well, getting low on things to write about. But inbetween going to WDW - 76 days - it's our birthdays and first wedding anniversary (DH's b.day is the 9th Oct mine is the 13th so we thought the 11th would be the perfect day to get married

We've decided our birthday presents will be our vacation and we've asked family for $ rather than anything else.

The only thing we're doing apart from making cards is going out for a meal on the night of our anniversary. We've decided to go to a local restaurant called Dunkleys http://www.dunkleysrestaurant.co.uk/index.htm

I've never been but it's always intruiged me as the tables are inside a train carriage I think they were rennovated and a kitchen built on the back.



We were also reading threads about the cost of the resort photoshoot and the price has gone up so much we've decided not to do it this year (and you can't put the pictures on the same CD as the regualr photopass photos).
If we end up going with friends next year we may suggest it. If the cost keeps going up we may even look a a professional shoot, at least you are guarenteed decent pictures - some have said they didn't get many photos and some weren't the best quality/compostion.

But hey that's more money to spend on other stuff

Although as we've already started this week so it's really 10 and a half



I've been looking at which perfume to buy duty free - I love that we don't have to pay VAT for a change

I'm not sure if I should go for one I've had before or try something new.

I like floral or fruity scents, I really don't like anything too heavy, spicy or musky.

Guess I'll have to try them all good way to kill some time before the flight, we have to be there about 3 hours before departure

Our frineds who came with us to DLRP have said they want to visit WDW next October with us

It was dependant on if Charlotte was ok with the long flight to NY, they just got back and said they can't wait to visit the US again So now we'll have to start planing for next year, we're hoping to get 2 studios at BCV but we'll book SSR 11 months out just in case.

So our trip this Dec will also be to find the best places to take them and where to avoid. Also Charlotte and I can go do some girly things at one of the spa's

I love it when I can replace a ticker just after the current one runs out

Awww, thanks for stopping by I'll try to get a few more pics of stuff we have, I got DH a framed pin picture (with 3 or 4 pins) for his Birthday last year although we've yet to hang it up

Oh wow that's so lucky, I'm so glad you didn't have to cancel I guess it happens but I don't like to think about it

Not Disney but I'm going to use this to keep Pal Mickey attached - I tried to tie him on my belt last year but it was a bit awkward

We got three coins this year, the first is POTC, then a 2008 coin and a 15 Magical Years coin

This one spins round and has a quarter for each park, kind of like a park roulette

A cast member gave me this, it's in two halves but the pins are identical.
You are supposed to keep one and give one to another guest that does something nice

As I may have said before, we plan on going to see Art the doorman at the BC and we got him this pin from DLRP

When a cast member told us that Disney MGM was changing its name we thought we should get a pin

Some random ones, Mickey and Pluto and the Incredibles

Sorry these are out of focus, they're the one and five dollar bills with Goofy and Mickey on them, they say they're part of a 3 pin set so I'd really like to get the third
