We close on a resale later this month. As part of the deal, we were able to rent points for 2 nights at HHI. We checked in tonight around 9 pm after spending the day at MK.

The room is fantastic. Our son is still in a pack n play and there is a little nook in the bedroom perfect for it. Now my 8 year old daughter doesn't feel so much like she is sharing the room with him. I am posting with free wireless internet. From what we could see in the dark, we are in a great location. I'm just sad that we are only here 2 nights.

I'll post more tomorrow, if anyone is interested. I'll post some pictures when we get home.

Congratulations! What a nice "bonus" to your deal. Hope you have a great vacation. I've always thought the rooms at HHI look exceptionally nice (and roomy) and hope someday that we can "visit" there too. Have fun!;)

Today we played at the playground. My 8 year old daughter went to the unbirthday party with just one other girl. We got sand toys from the desk and played in the sand at the beach house. We met Mike, who gave us lots of good advice for subsequent visits. Tonight we plan to go to the campfire with smores. Great way to end a WDW vacation.

Yes, yes, please post pictures. What building are you in? Let us know if you go out to eat anywhere, where you go.

We are in building 27. We like this location. It's right by the pool, fire pit, and merchantile. During busier times, it might be too close, but I think we'll request it in the future and see.

We went to the check in desk and asked for a family casual place for lunch. We ate at the Sea Shack, about 4 miles away. It was pretty busy, but not crowded. The food was good. It is breaded in corn meal and had a bit of a different flavor. We just had frozen pizza for dinner as we wanted to make the bonfire at 7 and get our almost 2 year old to bed. There are 2 nicer seafood places within walking distance, but are only open for dinner. We'll try one of them next time.

I'll post some photos after we get home and get settled in some. Monday is going to be hard...getting the daughter to school and husband to work.

Thank you for sharing. I hope you have a good weekend and that Monday goes well. Can't wait to see your pictures.:cool1:
