This morning we decide AK deserved a visit, arriving just after opening we headed straight to Expedition Everest and I got a FP while we then queued to ride.
After this we made our way to the Safari, stopping briefly on the way to watch the apes making their early morning calls!
The Safari was similar to before, the storyline with the reserve was similar but there was no Little Red! We saw plenty of animals out basking in the early morning sun.
Also for the first time we saw a Lion actually up and moving on the rock!
By now it was getting close to mid morning and we went to see Its A Bugs Life. This never fails to get a laugh from us at all the unsuspecting people at the end when the bugs leave
Then we headed off to EE and noticed it was closed
So we got a drink with a packet of crisps before deciding to go and see Legend of the Lion King a thoroughly enjoyable show.
It was getting close to 1pm now so we went to see if EE was running, passing the Yaki and Yeti Restaurant on the way, which looked like work was progressing well.
By now it had got a lot sunnier
As soon as we got to EE it was clear it was working so we used our expired FP and got in the queue. As we were about to head off on our journey on the platform I saw Ian and Lynn, from the HaloWishes cruise, waiting for their train! After our ride we waited and soon after Ian and Lynn appeared, we had a quick hello and as it was getting very busy headed off.
