Today we were up quite early as we were off to Seaworld and wanted to get there for nearly opening time. We achieved this and arrived at 9.30am and were soon parked and into Seaworld. First stop was Clyde and Seamore and the mime artist as ever did not disappoint :rotfl:

It was then time to go and see the Sealions acting up for their fish.

After this we saw the penguins they are so funny to watch with their waddling about on land but once in water they look so graceful.

It was then time to see Blue Horizon. This was only the second time we have seen this show so it is still new to us.

For some reason we rarely go to the dolphin cove but we took a quick look this time before going to find lunch.

We decided on an early lunch as we had an early start today so went to Smokey Creek for ribs, brisket and chicken. While waiting in the queue for ordering the BBQ meals the Clydesdale horses came by.

Mmmm the BBQ was very tasty. I had the ribs and chicken while Nathan had the ribs and brisket :thumbsup2

Feeling full we went and walked up towards Shamu’s stadium for Believe. But there was still room for ice cream :thumb: Believe was again interesting to watch.

As we walked away from Believe we could see the Sky Tower was in operation so headed over to it and paid our $3 each for a trip up the tower. The views were great and you could really see Aquatica was coming on nicely.

Along with Shamu’s Stadium and Kraken it was a good bird’s eye view of Seaworld.

It was also amazing how you could see WDW in the distance!

Once back on the ground we took a wander past the Halloween display.

Then we headed to the exit as it was getting very cloudy.

By now it was mid afternoon but we wanted to do some more shopping so first of all made our way to the Florida Mall, but just as we were going in we saw that the weather was turning rather rapidly!

After getting a few things in the Florida Mall we were off to the nearby Walmart and as we went in the parking lot we saw Petsmart and nipped in there but suddenly the rains came down! We made it back to the car a bit wet but as we pulled up outside Walmart the heavens opened  The rain must have gone on for a good 20 minutes or so before we could even think about getting out of the car without getting soaked through in 5 seconds flat!

Once we had got what we needed in Walmart we saw Loews nearby and popped in there to try and find the LCD maglites that the Walmarts had none of :( Luckily Lowes had what we wanted so we headed off back to SSR. Tonight we headed off to TGI Friday’s for dinner and it wasn’t too busy we were seated in about 10-15 minutes. To start with we shared the three for all appetizer.

I then had steak with cheddar cheese mashed potato.

While Nathan had the fajitas, steak and chicken mix.

The main courses were tasty but we thought a dessert was needed so ordered the 5 mini dessert samplers.

I had only just taken a small bite of the raspberry one when I felt a crunch and found there was a tiny bit glass from the glass pots the desserts were in! We informed the server who then got the manager who was very apologetic. After leaving we popped into Goodings and got a couple of bottles of Smirnoff Ice along with some bread for toast.

Claire ;)

I was just thinking how yummy those desserts looked and then read it had a bit of glass in! OMG!

I love Seaworld and could feed those Sealions all day long! :cloud9: Also love the mime - he is just hilarious and never fails to disappoint. In fact he is the only reason we go and watch that show now (we have seen it so many times).

I would love to go up in the sky tower, but it's always been closed when we have been

have not been to seaworld for ages so your photos are a bonus for us.

We always walk to TGIs on our first night at SSR and love goodings to. great photos to remind us

Lovely day. It always amazes me how quickly the weather can turn in Florida, we just knew as soon as the winds got up, rain was coming.

That bit of glass was a bit naughty, I am glad you were not hurt by it, it must have been a bit of a shock finding it but then being relieved it wasn't a tooth.
