The iPhone pictures came out pretty good, but not like the real camera. I'm glad DS was so happy and looked so cute!

I always thought you had like a one hour line to get to meet them!

I think it can get upwards of like 90 minutes which is crazy! I'm not paying $57 per person just to stand in line for that long. We completely lucked out I think!

DS was sleeping in DM’s bed and not in his Pack n’Play. Oh well, he looked comfy and didn’t want to disturb him, so we left him alone.

Love the Dwarve pictures! Can't believe how lucky you were for such a short line. everywhere I've read the line is humongous! I've never ever heard of the Bears coming out. Bonus! (they scare me a little though)

I'm not a parade person either, but that looked like great fun. Maybe I'm just not a day parade person because I love the Main Street Electrical Parade.

Those pics with Ariel are funny. When I met her our Ariel was wearing a nude body suit. It looks like your Ariel was just wearing a nude bra under the seashells! Weird!

I didn't want to say but DH wasn't trying to look down the entire time cus he said she looked naked Pfft, like they would have a naked character at Disney!

It was so cool to meet the bears. I had never met them before so it was completely unexpected!

Yikes, sorry about your camera. Well my battery died, so not as bad as dropping my camera. This is my 3rd point and shoot camera in the past 5 years.. I have bad luck with smaller cameras I guess, because I have my nice Canon DSLR that i've had for 4 years and not a scratch on it!

The bears was a complete random meet and I loved it! That date night was a much needed night. It was our first date night since DS was born and it was great to walk around MK without having to worry about the stroller or bags or if DS is crying. Weird to say, but the party was relaxing!

If the iPhone camera was better, I wouldn't have been so mad. But I knew the photos were going to turn out grainy and blurry and the colors would be all off, and sure enough they are.

I thought it was great when Grumpy grabbed on to me too, especially since his demeanor is a little stand-offish. I loved it!

Today was moving day! Once we became DVC members, we knew this would be a great way to see other resorts, so we decided to split this trip up between AKV and BWV. DH’s first choice was BLT and we were waitlisted up until 7 days before our trip, but nothing became available. Secretly, I was happy I was really hoping to stay at BWV because our favorite park is Epcot and it was just so much closer than BLT. Also, today was the start of our Deluxe Dining plan and our first reservation was at 11:45am at Hollywood Studios.

We all woke up fairly early, around 7ish and got everything packed up by 8:45am. Alison (franandaj) had suggested to keep a piece of luggage with clothes in it for dinner that night, just in case we didn’t get our luggage until later that day. DH was ADAMANT about taking his very large piece of luggage with him because it had everything he needed for that night (what a girl!) and we packed a smaller suitcase with clothes for me, DS, and DM. The plan was that DM, DS and I would go over to BWV and check-in and get all our PH’s transferred to our new KTTW cards and DH would wait in the room for a CM to come up and take the rest of the luggage to be transferred to BWV and he would meet up with us at BWV. I had a huge brain fart and couldn’t remember how to transfer to BWV from AKV, so DH said take the first bus that shows up except MK. I didn’t think anymore into it and said okay.

DM, DS and I got to the bus stop around 9am and an Epcot bus came immediately. Anything but MK, I thought. So we get on the bus and ride over to Epcot. It wasn’t until we were pulling into the parking lot that I started using my brain. Ummm, HELLO! There is no bus transportation to BWV. D’oh! We were getting off the bus and I was trying to think quickly. We walked over to the board just to make sure that there wasn’t bus transportation. Nope. None. My phone rang and it was DH saying don’t get on an Epcot bus either I’m already at Epcot! I asked where he was and he said he was still waiting for an Animal Kingdom bus at AKV! I got off the phone with him so I could think of what to do. This is the conversation going on in my head: “We could walk through Epcot to get to BWV. But wait, I don’t think the World Showcase opens until 11am?? Okay. How about a bus to AK then a bus to BWV. Nevermind a bus just left for AK Let’s just take a DHS bus from Epcot and then take a boat to BWV??” We couldn’t find the DHS bus stop for a few minutes then realized it’s near the center of the drop off area so we went there and sat down for a couple minutes. I decided to call DH once I had everything figured out and he was just getting on board an AK bus. Okay so he may be a little bit behind us. Not too bad. A bus came shortly after our phone call and we were soon on our way to DHS. The trip wasn’t too long from Epcot to DHS so as soon as we got off the bus, I saw the boat leaving the dock towards the resorts Seriously!? Geez, now we’re going to have to walk. I called DH and asked where he was and he was finally getting on a bus for BWV from AK. After our 10 minute (VERY BRISK) walk from DHS we finally made it to the BWV! HALLELUJAH! What a journey.

We checked in and luckily for us, our room was ready. We were then told to go over to Concierge Services so they could transfer our remaining PH’s to our new KTTW cards. It didn’t take too long to get everyone’s PH’s transferred and then we were on our way to our room. I called DH to let him know our room number and I could tell that he was annoyed. I asked what happened and he said that the bus first goes to Swan, THEN, Dolphin, and now he’s as the Yacht and Beach club! I couldn’t help but laugh because this morning was so psychotic. I figured the bus would soon make it to BWV so I took this time to take some pictures.

DS was pretty impressed with the room.

And DM of course loved it! She liked this kind of décor. Soon enough, I hear a knock at the door and it was my poor DH all exhausted from getting on buses and lugging the baggage around. Unfortunately for him, there was no time to rest. It was 11:25 and we had twenty minutes to leave our room and make it to Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater.

I learned two valuable lessons from this morning:

1) Learn my bus stops
2) Take a taxi when DS is old enough

Love your villa, though I'm sorry to hear it was such a pain to get there! How did the baby handle all the ins and outs of the stroller to get on and off the buses? I'm starting to really think about all this stuff, because it looks like we'll definitely be taking our DS for his first trip in May...he'll be almost 6 months by then, it should be a real adventure!

The transferring resorts transportation woes! Bummer! But at least your room was ready. It would have been worse if not! When I transferred over there in October my room was not ready until about 3pm. That was annoying. But, my luggage had arrived.

Love the 1BR. Very nice. I love the BWV. Right now is my #1 favorite DVC resort.

DS looks very happy to be settled!

He did AMAZING! Looking back, he was such a good baby through it all. He had no problems taking him in or out of the stroller when getting on/off the buses. I honestly think he'd do even better now (at almost 5 months) because he's awake more often and wants to look around. You're going to have an amazing time with your DS when you go. I think that will be a perfect age.

I don't think i've seen the Studios. I wasn't a huge fan of the decor (love the AKV better - probably because it's newer and not as worn) but the location. Oh man. Can NOT be beat! Even DH was really glad by the end of the trip that we stayed at BWV.
