I enjoyed meeting you and Dale also! Having you, dale, warren, and Monica at dinner was awesome! I really enjoyed chatting with Corinna and Karen too when I ran into them. It felt like old friends.

Great trip report! I'm sorry to hear your FE was stolen! Esp since it was personalized. That makes me nervous to get one. Glad you had a good trip though!

I loved my FE!! It was SO awesome to come back and see the great gifts my DIS friends had left for our family. I miss my FE alot. When I finally can get my film developed I'll have pictures posted. Tiffany did a great job on it and it was really nice. I wouldn't let one rude person ruin your fun. Either buy a great one like I did (ebay...graddysmommy) or make yourself a cheap one (which can still be great fun ). I keep trying to tell myself that it is ok because I'll need a diffrent one for our next cruise because I am sure my children's favorite character will have changed fifty times by then.

I really enjoyed meeting you too! Our board really has a nice group of people and you guys felt like family when I met some of you!!!

I am definitely getting a verrandah on my next cruise........I loved reading about your mornings on the verrandah!

I wish my 4 year old enjoyed the kids club as much as yours.....he did better this time, but still wasn't as hooked as I thought he would be! And, we missed most of Castaway Cay because he was sick that day, but that just means we will have to go again!!!!

I'm sorry your 4 year old wasn't feeling well! Poor baby. If we have the luck of meeting up on another cruise we will have to introduce your baby to mine. He is such a social butterfly that I am sure he would take right to your baby and maybe then having a friend will make the kids club more successful!
I am SO spoiled with that verandah. I really don't think I could cruise any other way.
I am really glad I got to meet you. You catching me in the hallway that first night was really funny! I was glad to get a chance to actually have a conversation with you at Patty's vow renewel!

Dawn i loved your trip report. Reading it brings back little memories of things enjoyed (but not forgotten). Your sense of humor adds to the enjoyment of reading your report. It's kind of ironic how reports about the last day is always the shortest. Do we run out of steam or just wish not to remember the last day?

I think that it is because it is not as enjoyable or exciting.

Day 5 dembarkation 9-11-08
The down part to early dinner seating is having to be in the dining room for breakfest at 645am. It was a very non festive time as we were all bummed to be leaving and we are all so tired I think we could have fallen head first into our oatmeal. We took lots of pictures with our DIS friends and our servers and said our final goodbyes.

Then, in all to short of a time, we were heading down the gangplank to go home. It took us a while to get through customs. Not because the actual process took long....it was very simple....but the line of people was HUGH! It snaked all through the terminal. We were finally through customs and headed down to meet the Radisson van to take us back to our car. It was about a 15 minute wait and then we saw our ride. After getting our luggage on the trailer and hoping aboard the van we were on our way to get the car. I had parked the car on the opposite side of the lot from where we were dropped off so my mom suggested that I drive the car over to where they would be waiting with the luggage. Chase and I walked over to get the car....I pressed the keyfob to open the door....nothing...pressed it again....nothing.....my worse suspicions where confirmed....a dead battery. Let us all look at the four year old now....and WHY exactly were you playing with the dome light? Make a note that if this happens to you the Raddisson can not help you other then to offer you a phone in which you can call someone. We waited for about 30min for AAA and then we were finally on our way. I have to tell you I was SO tired I could not wait to get to my moms and crawl into bed. 3 hours later and I was at my mothers, all curled up in bed, and I did not move for about 5 hours. We had an amazingly wonderful time and we are permantely hooked! My mother said every vacation now on will be a Disney cruise w/ a verandah! We are looking forward to our next voyage, when ever that may be, and we are still high on our experience from this cruise! Thank you for letting me share this with you and to all of you getting ready to cruise....smooth sailing and have a magical voyage....for all those that have just departed a cruise I share with you the longing for another trip aboard. As one of my friends said....they should have a half way house for those getting off a Disney Cruise.

I forgot to mention the towel animals! I LOVED our towel animals. Who knew you could make something out of a towel besides a crumpled ball on the floor or a cape for superman? I thought I would post the pictures of our towel animals. The first night was a Rabbit, with Chase's sunglasses on, which I do not have a picture of. For some reason it did not occur to me to take a picture. I must of been drunk on excitement. Anyway, here is my collection of towel animals:

Great trip report. I really need to get back to mine, but it is the end of the quarter tomorrow and I have to have all the paperwork handed in by Friday. Of course, having been on vacation for nearly a month, I am seriously ehind. Still, in a few days this is all over and I will spend the weekend writing my trip report and scanning photos.
