Our First Birthdays with the Mouse & One Ticked Off Duck 9/16 Day 3 update

I am so sorry for the delay guys! The is the first day I've had internet in 3 weeks. I'll get back on the ball shortly.

Day 3 Part I​

So Wednesday was more of a relaxing day for us. Little did we know it would be too relaxing. We packed up everything for our move over to AKV. I was very excited to be staying there. We headed out of OKW about 10 am. We had ressies at Boma for 11 am. We hung around the lobby and took a stroll or two around Jambo until then.

We got seated at Boma and the place was empty. May be 3 or 4 other tables were filled. The food looked and smelled delicious. I went first and loaded up a plate for Grace the little piggy.

DH had the juice and enjoyed it. I hate passion fruit so I passed.

We enjoyed Boma for breakfast but would like to try dinner there next time. We ate and tried to stall as long as possible to kill time until we could check in but because the food was so readily available I just kept wanting to eat. So finished up and decided to head out to the one of the savannah viewing areas.

It was a little after 12 and time seemed to be crawling. We headed over to check in. We finished up and were told we would get a text when the room was ready and it would be probably be the normal check in time at 4pm. So we found a couch and tried to nap for awhile. I slept may be 20 minutes and decided to get more pics to kill time.

Day 3 Part II
More waiting....then our beautiful room!​

So after that we ahead back to the couches in the lobby. We were pretty bored at this point. It's hard for me to believe that's possible in WDW. We waited here about another hour and decided to go have lunch at Mara.

When I got inside a made a bee line for ....

I drooled at the door over them and decided I would come back down for them tomorrow night.

We ordered and I took a pic while we waited.

DH got a Ham & Swiss

I got the Chicken Caesar. Was yummy!

We headed back to lobby around 3 pm when we were finished and waiting about another 30 minutes. We were all getting grouchy at this point and Grace was restless. I spoke with 2 ladies in the lobby who said to go check if our room was ready because it takes much longer to get them to text you. So I did and sure enough it was at 10 til 4 pm. We just wanted to relax once we got in there.
