Sounds like your family had a wonderful trip! Your La Nouba adventure: I would've strangled my DH if he'd gone back to the hotel, leaving me standing in the rain! You're a much bigger person than I!

I think I was so impressed that he had the sense to go back AND he managed to get the kids changed (although I'm sure DD-11 helped a lot - she does tend to go into "Mommy" mode as needed!). Plus, I was impressed he FOUND his way back! Several times on the vacation I had suggested splitting up & got the response of basically, he didn't know where he was going so we all had to stay together.

I didn't think to be angry at him (he didn't have a way to let me know which was true). The silliest thing is that now I know, I could have just gone to Guest Services probably saving myself an hour and having them call the hotel room! It never crossed my mind (Of course, then I probably wouldn't have gotten my tickets replaced either!). Oh well....definitely could have told I was a newbie at the World and was in a dazed confusion!

Love your report! It was a great read that brought back memories of life with four young ones. I remember one time I decided we needed to get a family portrait done. The kids were 18 mo,3y,5yand 7y. As we are running around the house looking for the 3y shoes my DH asks is it always going to be like this!! BTW we didn't find the shoes, he wore flip flops and the pictures are cut off at the knees!

And did you tell him "Yes"!!! Shoes are forever getting misplaced in this house - doesn't help that the 1 year old has a fetish for wearing everyone's shoes and so we will find one and the other one tends to have "wandered" away!

hahah insane we are!!! but we padded our leave day by a couple days, so if the trip down is h*ll we can spend the night half way, BUT if it's fun we can stay in WDW some more or just take our time going home!!!
