I hear you... The only reason we were able to is because we took some money from the sale of our house. Plus, with three growing kids we outgrew POR.

Welcome!!! :goodvibes

Disney Hollywood Studios :wizard:

That's it. That's my plan. :lmao:

Seriously, I used to plan out when we would get up, what time we'd hit the parks, and what rides we'd ride (and in which order), but this trip is all about relaxing and reconnecting as a family.

I love that.

We joined DVC resently, but for AKV - what a deal! Could not pass it up! We had a trip scheduled for this summer 2 days at vero beach and 12 days at Pop Century, came up with the idea to take the money we were paying for Pop and Vero to put down on DVC. Did it and now we are spending 2 days at vero beach and 12 days at AKV! Just too exciting!

We did the whole relaxed family touring plan last year and it was one of our best vacations yet. Our feet felt great and the kids had so much fun. We only had one day of family breakdown, it happened to be at Animal Kingdom, we just left the park, went back to room and took a nap! It was great! :)

I know your family will have a great time, I am looking forward to hearing about your trip.

What's that and who with?
It's the kids' pirate cruise from the GF. :thumbsup2 Did I stump a former Mom's Panel member?! Woohoo!!!! :woohoo: Do I get a prize? :flower3:

I love that.

Oh, I'm sooo looking forward to it. Thanks for stopping by.

Your trip sounds great.

Sounds like a great plan! What's B doing while the siblings get painted?

Watching, I guess. She's not really into doing anything like that anymore. :confused3 She's not going on the pirate cruise either. I may just give her extra spending money.

Has it changed names? :rotfl2: And yes you do get a huge prize you just need to fly me out to you so I can give it to you :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

My original post ended with "stand in the corner and roll her eyes," :lmao::lmao:sometimes I worry that my "I was a twelve year old girl not that long ago" snarkiness comes out as meanness.

She's pretty good. A lot of her friends would be annoyed, I think, but she rarely pulls attitude with me. She's a great big sister too. :cutie: I'm a lucky momma. :lovestruc

I know I probably don't get a say, but, if I'm paying for airfare to/from UK can I at least go THERE?
Just sayin.....
Mel:banana:

PS. We're renting a cabana for our pool day w Dawn. Anyone
done this at CR or BLT? I think they have them at GF too.

So whats the family magic tour??
Here's what Disney's website says about it:
"Your tour guide needs your help as your tour group searches high and low for clues in this adventure through Magic Kingdom theme park. Unlike most tours, your party will play an active role in the experience as you put on your detective hat, follow tricky clues, solve diabolical puzzles and engage in a lively scavenger hunt."

We need to sing, "at the Copa... Copa Cabana..." the whole day! :lmao:

Woooohoooo will do :dance3:

Just FYI-
We're going out of town tomorrow through Sunday for a dance competition. When I get back I'll be ready to be in full Disney prep (I accidentally typed PERP! :rotfl2:) mode. I'll talk more about our plans and fun stuff we're doing and who we're meeting up with, okay? :flower3:

Have a great weekend, Disney peeps!!! :cutie:

Hope the dance competition was fun and not too stressful. I'm enjoying your trip/pre-trip report, the back and forth banter is quite entertaining!

This trip is our big one... our 13 day blow out. We've got some fun stuff planned! My goal is to R-E-L-A-X and do some fun things we've never tried before.

Who we are:
Dawn- Me, the momma... Former homeschooler & lover of all things Disney
K- Daddy AKA my fourth child. He's a big kid at heart and the best daddy in Texas
B- our fun-loving 12 going-on-16 year old who loves to dance (Dance and Disney= where all my money goes... :dance3:)
C- my 8 yr old sweetie pie who is still fairly interested in Disney, but would rather be a pirate than a princess (She also dances on a competition team)
A- Daddy's 7yr old partner in crime. He's not into anything silly or goofy. He's here for the action. pirate:

Our plans:
We arrive at WDW on March 10th for a five night stay at POR
(Can I get a whoop whoop for the $500 gift card?!) :woohoo:
Transfer to Bay Lake Tower on the 15th for a week long stay

We're particularly excited about this trip because we get to visit our DVC home, Bay Lake Tower, for the first time. We bought into DVC last summer and haven't used our regular points or bonus points. So, a week-long stay in a one bedroom was just what we needed to get acquainted with our home away from home. :thumbsup2
How did you get the $500 gift card?
