This PTR/TR can not go on any longer without me introducing my favoritist person on all of DIS who has become a very close friend of mine... I can't imagine a day going by without talking on the phone and texting her. She and her family will be joining our family on vacation and I super, super excited!!!!

lots of fun in Disney. We like to call ourselves the "LBs" (that
doesn't stand for pounds....). It stands for Lazy Beaches.
Because we love the beach! Right Dawn?

That picture above is making me thirsty. I need to learn
how to make those slushies at home! If you need advice
on smuggling booze into or out of the Disney parks, I'm the
girl to ask.

I will be joined on this trip by my husband, NotBob, and two
great boys (SD who's 17 and Gus who's 12).

Day Two Plans:

Magic Kingdom Day

C and A both have appointments this morning at the Pirates League. I had an appointment for C to go to the castle and visit the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique , but when she heard A was going to be painted up like a pirate, she wanted to do the same. I know it will be fun, but I'm a little sad about her not wanting to get prettied up.

We dont' have any specific meal plans for this day, or most of the trip. We're going without the dining plan for the first time and plan on eating most of our meals in our room once we move to BLT. I'd rather spend money on having fun than another cheeseburger, you know what I mean?

That's it. That's my plan.

Seriously, I used to plan out when we would get up, what time we'd hit the parks, and what rides we'd ride (and in which order), but this trip is all about relaxing and reconnecting as a family. We've been so cusy these past few months the stress just had gotten overwhelming. We moved in June, started public school for the first time, & got in a car wreck in October. As 2009 got more stressful, our trip got longer! It started out just the week at BLT and then we added days.

The airfare prices also played a factor. The airline had figured people would pay more to fly out on Friday, Saturday or Sunday the weekend before and after Spring Break. Not me, mister. If my airfare willl be $200 each way to fly then, it sounds like a good reason to take a longer vacation to me! Flying on Wednesday was $79 and coming home on a Monday was $114.

So, essentially it was only $100 more to stay 5 more days. Gotta love that logic!

So, like I said, the plan is to hit up DHS.

Again, I don't have big plans, but I would assume that these first few days we'll be super excited about the parks and we'll hit rope drop. Later when we hit the parks for a second time, we'll sleep later and do nighttime shows.
