Our Family's 2nd Trip to Disney World-Pre-Trippie

See, I have a lot of Disney freaks at work also, including my boss, who is the biggest, besides me! And my good friend who is also one of my brides maids for the wedding! Her and I were actually just going through Disney's honeymoon registry the other night, quite fun. As soon as I book my trip, i'm registering for that!!! So we have fun talking about Disney quite often. My boss goes twice a year!

And $6000 for a Disney trip staying at ASMu, oh, now you know as a diser you can definitely find a MUCH better deal than that! She could stay in a deluxe for that price

Awesome! I did not know that they had a honeymoon registry. Yeah it is fun to talk Disney at work!!!!!

I priced her out a trip between 2400-3000 depending on how long she wants to go- you know us Diser's!!!!

Yay only 7 months left till our Magical Vacation to WDW !!!!!!

Well tonight after work Austin and I met Bill at Friendly's for dinner/ice cream. I love Friendly's- their food is good, and it is such a warm/friendly atmosphere. After that we went home and basically just relaxed .

I had Austin doing the funniest thing- for all of you American Idol watchers- I had him calling up family/friends singing "Pants on the ground"- hehehehehe!!!!


Anyway, I was looking on the boards at different Disney themed room remodels because we are trying to finish off Austin's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse bedroom. Such cute things were on there!!!!!!


After that- I got Disney fever and decided to order our maps!!!!! I always check everything off just to show what was in WDW the time we went. I went with the character designs this time instead of the standard. So cute . I also order the Disney Vacation Planning Dvd- hopefully they added some new touches on it for this year . I just love Disney mail don't you?

You guys are going to laugh at me- I have been going through such Disney withdrawal that I decided I was going to watch "Wishes" and "Fantasmic!" on You tube. Let me tell ya- "Wishes" just brings tears to my eyes everytime. It is such a special display!!!!!! I also showed Austin a little bit of "Fantasmic!"- it wasn't showing on our last trip- and he got soooo excited over the live Mickey Mouse shooting the fireworks out of his fingers!!!


I am still hoping for free dining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot purchase my plane tix until I know for sure. So, I've been watching the different sights. We will more than likely be flying Spirit again, but you never know !!!!

Tomorrow Austin and I might take a ride up to the Christmas Tree Shop to see what they got out- I LOVE that store. Maybe hit Chick-fil-a, who knows?

funny I ordered another set of disney maps earlier this week!! I plan to make my countdown calendar with them...don't know how yet but that is the plan
I also just received my new Disney DVD; haven't watched it yet...plan to do that with the tots Monday and than do some sort of Disney craft with them.

As for your friend, we know she can get a better price than that...but, Danny was talking with a guy he was working with after Christmas he and his family went to Disney stayed at the POP and spent 6K so its possible...but, they did tours, boat rides, DDPDx, and so on...

Hey Connie!!!!

I can see racking up $6,000 if you are on the DDPDx- that is ex---pensive!!!
Especially with all of the extra tours and stuff that can get kinda pricey But I don't think she plans on doing all of that- she just wants to get the kids to the World for the first time. Let me tell you, she was sooooo shocked when I told her that I priced her out trips ranging from 2400- 3000!!!!!!!

Ooh yes- don't forget the maps!!!! In fact, I didn't know that you could do ones with characters on them too- thats what I chose!!! And in June- when I can order more, I am going to get another set of the Classic ones. I am sooo glad to here that the dvd is different. I order one in 2008 and 2009- excited that 2009's might be different, but it really wasn't different at all!!!!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!

I was on my laptop till 2:30 am this morning just looking at different Disney things !!!!

You see, even though Austin's birthday is two weeks after our trip- this trip is his main birthday gift. We may get him a few things to open up on his real birthday (10/10)- but this trip is the big 5th birthday present so we will be celebrating at WDW!!!! I was reading different things that WDW can do for your birthday. If you go to Town Hall in MK, they will give you a "It's my birthday" button- and supposedly the characters and everything make a big deal when they sign your autograph book or if they see you. So, we will definitely be doing this. I also heard that Epcot gives away a little trinket as well- I am going to look more into it today. I have also heard that when your checking in to your hotel if you let the CM at the front desk know its your childs birthday, they can arrange a call from a character, and sometimes, they will put balloons or a signed character photo in your room (not sure how true this is!!!). But it sounds pretty neat!!!!!!

I was also looking into different things that you can get sent to your room from the WDW florist- ear hat packages, mickey mouse partys, etc.- wayyyyy to expensive. Some things range up to 400.00!!!!!! I probably sound cheap and all (I really am not )- but I can't see spending 400.00 to have a CM decorate your resort room with a Happy Birthday banner, and get "presents" from the characters (you supposedly get a box from Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto- Like for example, from Pluto's box, you get rice krispies treats shaped as dog bones). I mean, I'm sure its cute and all, but do you know how many other special things from Wdw I can buy him for his b-day for 400.00 ? A whole lot!!!! So, I think I am going to have to make a trip to the Disney Store before our trip and pick him out another character stuffed animal or two, and have that sitting for him on the bed for when we arrive again ( either me or Dh will place it on the bed before he gets in the room and say its from Mickey again ). He loved that last time.


So, my next point, I know you are all wondering when we are doing our next Disney night, and I can tell you it is coming soon!!!!! I think we are going to do it next Saturday night- and it is going to be Finding Nemo!!!!! I have a few things up my sleeve for this one- a few really good ideas. But, you'll just have to wait and see next Saturday !!!!!

Well, I better get moving- I want to head over to the mall today, and maybe-just maybe check out the disney store!!!!

Anyway we all looked a mess- and I was like "Hey Pam!" and you looked at me funny and walked on!!!! It was an awful dream- but it is kinda funny!!!!!

I can't wait for our Nemo night either- I have a few really cute things in mind !!!

Hi Everyone!!

I did make it to the mall today, yes including the Disney Store- but I didn't buy anything there. I bought some new pillows for my new bedding set from Jcpenney's. Then Austin and I had some pizza- and we drove through the airport to see if "Mickey Mouse's Plane" was there. Before we went back in 2008, we would drive through the airport (its like 10 minutes down the road from where we live)- its not the biggest airport, it only has like 7 or 8 gates. Anyway, there was this big double decker one that used to be parked off at the side, and we always told Austin that it was Mickey Mouse's plane. Well guess what? It's not there anymore !!!! But Austin did say "Well Mickey Mouse must've went to Disney World in his airplane Mommy!" and it was too cute!!!!!

Anyway, we got home, and I started putting my bed linens on the bed and it looks so pretty- but I do not want to take a picture till I finish the rest of our room!!! So its a Surprise!!!!

So I slept great in my new bedding last night , but I also woke up with a HORRIBLE headache !!!!! Also we had quite a storm veryyyy early in the morning, it was extremely warm outside, raining, and very windy- it sounded like there was a train in my backyard. I am sure all of you North East Coasters know what I am talking about!!!! Anyway, I drug myself out of my warm bed with my horrible headache (it was only on one side, and i get it alot- I think it is one of my wisdom teeth), and went to work.

So, work stunk as usual, I was very busy all day though. My disney freak coworker has this cd he bought when he was down there of all of the rides in WDW- I have him making me a copy so I can jam to Grim Grinning Ghosts while driving!!!

Ooh- did I forget to mention I received Disney mail this weekend. It was a little booklet that had everything we booked in it, telling us about our Resort, QSDP, Theme Parks, and more. It was personalized on the front to- so cute, that is going in with our souvenir maps !!! The funny part is, I think disney changed the print on their envelopes. There is a monorail that wraps around the front and back of the envelope with Goofy driving it and other characters on it. I cut it out and am going to use it for our Countdown Calendar!!!

Austin and I went to Party City yesterday to pick up some Nemo things, and guess what? THEY HAD NONE!!! I was sooooo disappointed!!! They had everything online, but wanted more to ship it then what I was ordering. So, I guess I will have to make my own some how. But will I let that spoil our fun- No siree!!!

Tomorrow I have to go to our offsite warehouse for Inventory. We do it every so often to make sure everything is up to par and not being stolen. The good part is I can wear jeans and I will probably get out early.

Hi Janine, Oh, how I love going to the Disney store, even if you come out empty handed you still feel happy!!!! ('we're so insane)

We had a bad storm yesterday too! The winds were horrible. Like hurricane winds and it was about 50 degrees! I couldn't even use my umbrella when I went the girl's school, I had to leave it in the truck, it was blowing inside out and I couldn't even hold on to it! This storm went on all day! Glad I didn't have to work, it was a good day to stay in the house!! Hope you got to stay in too!

Yup the Disney Store is my 2nd Happy Place (WDW the first of course)- I know sick huh !!!!!!
Yeah that storm was something wasn't it. Unfortunately I did have to go to work- with a screaming headache of course , but everything got better by the end of the day .
