We just got back a few hours ago and I have mixed feelings about ME.
We arrived on the 20th, a Friday night, about 9:30.
No problem finding the ME representatives and there was no line to check in and we got straight on the bus and left w/in 5 mins.
I thought we would actually beat the towncar time we normally use - luck was about to change.
Even though we were staying at the ASMu we had to stop at Pop Century and ASSp first. Took us about an hour and a half to get to ASmu after arriving.
Then since so many people were arriving at the same time it took forever to check in. I even tried to be smart about it.
When we would let someone off I would move up from the back of the bus to the front. I left DH to get the carryon and I raced to check in. Still took over 2 hours to get into our room from the time we left the airport.
The next morning we called for our bags to be brought up and they could only find 1 of them. This was 12 hours after our flight got in the night before. It took several calls and a couple of trips to Bell Services for them to finally find the 2nd bag. A good hour and a half wasted.
I was never given any information about the procedure for getting back to the airport. I called last night from the hotel and was told to be downstairs 3 hours before our flight. I have never had to be ready 3 hours before and this really stunk when we our flight left at 9am. We had to be downstairs at 6:00am.
Well, we were downstairs at 5:50am but the driver did not show up until 6:40 and we still had to make 2 stops.
We decided we would go back to towncar next trip. At a good 4 hours wasted the $100.00 it saved was not worth it to us.
Just our experience.

They m&m's mom, didn't I just meet you at the AK on Thursday?? ;) (by flag pole!)
now I had an excellent expericance with ME, they were perfect in every way. on time, for everything...I only waited about 10 mins at airport before heading to resorts, I took an earlyer bus to airport(was to take 1pm, I took the 1205 one) and it all worked out excellent!

nice to meet ya!!

If it took over two hours to get to your room, you could have made the first inquiry for the baggage then and had a chance of getting any needed search for misplaced baggage going right away.

You were told to show up for the ME bus on the way home at 6 AM and the bus didn't show until 6:40.

This is actually not farfetched. There is some slop built into the schedule in case a (6:10) bus is full (and perhaps skipped your resort for that reason) and the next bus came half an hour later (at 6:40). Towncars can sometimes be late too so you need to build time into your schedule to get a backup plan going if needed. Using ME, if problems are multiple or more severe ME is responsible for a backup plan.

Using a towncar you may still arrive at the resort when the room check in line is long.

I am sorry you had a bad experience. Someone drop the ball. I hope you had a good time at the parks.

I am surprised you didn't find one of the ME tags hanging on your room door the day before your check out. I saw these on everyones door. I took this picture on the 6th...it wasn't my door but I took it because it was the first one I saw.

I received mine on the 9th and it had a letter in it. Did anyone else receive the envelope on your door with ME information in it.

That is interesting. Nope, definitely did not get one of those and did not see anyone else w/ one either.
But then again I had to give ME my flight info 3 separate times and they still did not have my information in when we arrived or when we departed.

Being as we did not get into our room until after 11:30pm, I did not even attempt (nor expect) to get our luggage at that time. My concern was getting 2 very sleepy little girls in bed.
They told me later our 1st bag got to the hotel about 12:30am and the 2nd one at 4:00am. Not sure why the difference since both bags were on the same flight.
We have taken a towncar several times and we were always at the resort less than an hour after our plane arriving and we were not told to be ready 3 hours before the flight either.
I also saw several people when we were checking in being told my a manager to buy clothes at Maestro Mickeys and charge them to their room. The manager told them they would be reimbursed. This was from missing bags.
Another thing was even though we did not expect to get our bags until the next morning, being told we only had 1 bag was not good. That is what took several calls ands trips to Bell services to work out. If I knew the other bag was going to get to me later, that was fine. Being told I only had 1 bag and having to prove otherwise was frustrating.
