Hey! I just read your PTR and it sounds great! I'm going in August too and the waiting is so difficult...ugh...
Thanks for the NYC TR!! My hubby and I were there right before Christmas! It was so great to feel "real" cold and see snow (we don't get too much here in Texas!).
Before I finalized our trip, it was a toss-up between WLV and BWV. Since this is my hubby's first trip I thought BWV would be good for convenience. But next trip might have to be WL!!
Keep us updated on the plans!!!

haha, "real" cold! Sorry, I have to laugh at that. You want real cold, you should've been here in January when it was -40 below with the wind chill! We thought about staying at the Boardwalk on our trip but they didn't have some of the days available, plus we just stayed at the Beach Club so we thought it would be fun to do something a little different. But I definitely MUST stay at the BWV some day!

I always feel bad too! I don't know what the theme is. Let me see if I can go google it or something.

Hi guys!

I hope everyone's having a good Sunday...and hopefully the weather is better than it is here. All day it's been on-and-off raining. We go from sunny and near 80 to cold and rainy. Ohh Wisconsin...

Anyways, I told you guys I'd post pictures of my Disney souvenirs from the World of Disney store in NYC, so here ya go!

I have to say, I was really impressed with how quick it came. The invoice said 2-3 weeks but I got it in just a few days. Now I just need to find the wall space to actually hang it up.


Sorry I haven't had any trip updates lately, we're less than 4 months out but I feel like that's so far away! So how are we going to pass the time? By keeping busy, of course! Here's some plans to help pass the time:

Milwaukee Public Museum: Right now the museum has a special Titanic exhibit. We had originally planned on going last week but when we got there we found out we would've had to wait 3 hours to see it. So now we've got to figure out when to go since it's only here until the end of May.

Dad's reunion: My dad's college reunion is coming up at the end of May so Emma and I are going to go with him (one of the bright sides of not having a real job...). We're flying into Philadelphia and will spend a day there sightseeing and going to a Phillies game. Then we'll go to the reunion which will be kind of fun.

The Great Circus Parade: This is an old Milwaukee tradition that is finally coming back after several years and I am SO EXCITED! We used to go all the time then kind of stopped. Ohhh I really want to go, it's so fun seeing all the circus wagons, animals, and bands.

Brewers games: Now that basketball season is over it's time for baseball! We have a 9-game plan and may go to a couple other games when they have specials going on.

So hopefully all these things will help make the time until August go faster.

milwaukee public museum: Right now the museum has a special titanic exhibit. We had originally planned on going last week but when we got there we found out we would've had to wait 3 hours to see it. So now we've got to figure out when to go since it's only here until the end of may.

omg, me and the lunch lady planned on going in january, and we still haven't got there.

That Titanic exhibit sounds really cool. I have always loved learning about the Titanic even when I was little. I remember we went to the special I-max theater at the Boston aquarium because they had a 3-d movie about scientists going down to the ship with robots. Very cool! But wow that's crazy that there was a 3 hr wait to see the exhibit!

Sorry you are having such crummy weather. It's been beautiful here but now on tues it's going up to 90! Right from winter to summer...I guess were just going to skip over the spring season here.

So, I take it your a big baseball fan since you got a 9-game ticket and your seeing a Phillies game. COOL! I've been a Cubs fan since I was really little (yes, I'm used to the suffering). Have you been to Wrigley before? It's AMAZING!!! DH is also a HUGE baseball fan. Although, he's a Yankees fan. Sadly, he never got to go to the original Yankee Stadium (I have, though -- BEAUTIFUL!!!!).

I've been to the Titanic exhibit when it was in Denver. It was a really interesting (and sad) thing to experience. They have this huge "iceberg" that's made of what I think is styrofoam. It was really cold to the touch, thoguh. Very cool!

It sounds like you have a very busy, fun-filled summer planned. Should definitely make the wait for WDW tolerable!

I went to Summerfest a couple years ago with my sisters (we went to see the Daughtry concert) and while the show was fun, I'm not too big on Summerfest for some reason.

No, I bought the frame at Michael's. The posters are so cool, like I said before I wish they made the Thunder Mountain one. It is awesome!!!

Everyone I've talked to has said the Titanic thing is pretty good. Can't wait to see it! And I love the museum too. That was one of the good things about jury duty--I got free admission to the museum so I went there a couple days over our lunch break!

I hope the weather decides to change soon!

It is cool, isn't it? Dad's Splash Mountain one is still my favorite.

Yep, we love pretty much all sports around here...Marquette basketball, Brewers, Packers, Michigan football (it's rough being a Wolverine fan in Wisconsin, haha!). Never been to Wrigley before, I think on our way home from a Michigan football game though we drove past it!

That iceberg does sound cool. I also hear you get a boarding pass with the name of a passenger and at the end you find out if they survived or not.

LOL, it's ok, I know a lot of people on here can't stand Danny. I'm sorry, but I still have to root for the hometown guy! FOUR TIMES, that is crazy!!!!! My sisters and I were pretty mad they didn't come here last year. And this year we were afraid the show was going to be here when we were in WDW...that would've really bummed us out!

Ooooh, when are you going this weekend?! We're going tonight because they've got discounted tickets and we're also going this weekend. Ryan Braun is pretty awesome, I'll never forget his homerun on the last game of the season to help the Brewers beat the Cubs and more importantly, make the playoffs!!

Aww man, another person who doesn't like Danny?!?! I am really outnumbered here! Paula keeps saying how he's going to be in the finale but honestly I don't see that happening. I am just hoping for Top 3 so they do the big homecoming thing here and then you'll all see me on TV! haha I love how they show American Idol in other countries, that is too funny!

Aww, my sister is so cute, she just posted this video of Soarin on my facebook. Who knows what she was doing, she must have been procrastinating (MU has exams next week...). Boy do I wish I was in Florida right now on this, it's by far one of my absolute favorites. EVER. The video doesn't quite give you the same sensation as the actual ride but it's still fun. I was cracking up listening to all the people screaming. Can't wait till August to ride this a couple of times!

OK basically I could live with Danny, Kris, or Adam leaving. I still love Matt and Allison has been my girl since her first performance so I would be devastated if she left! I went to Britney Spears last night so I had my mom text me the numbers for Allison and Matt and voted for them during the Pussycat Dolls performance b/c I can't stand them! I just got done watching my Tivo-ed version and I don't think I could've survived watching it regularly!! 5 people in ONE hour?!?! Shouldn't they each be doing two songs by now?! Ohh man, thank goodness I was able to fast forward through commercials!

And to stay on topic, I love Soarin' and also wish I was in Florida right now LOL!

haha, we are basically the exact opposite, I would be fine with Allison or Matt leaving. OK, really as long as it's not Danny I don't care. I thought he was so good last night!
